Okay, I am soo tired of people saying oh it's just a game, no it is a social networking and communications platform.
Do you Level Up on it (anywhere other than game simulation sims)?
Do you set up raids to take out a boss?
Are things always trying to kill you?
Are you collecting items to sell, trade, or make into other things?
NO! No, you are not. The people on Secondlife are real people with real feelings and it is a virtual world made for people around the world to come together, talk, form friendships, live out a fantasy, and so on. More than 75% of the population on secondlife aren't BOTs nor equate to an NPC. They have feelings, real ones, You can turn the Linden you earn on secondlife into REAL money, it is not just a game you fucknuts. And because of that real-life emotions can not be kept out of it like they can in a game. SO stop treating each other like shit. Stop treating each other like we are less than fucking human, stop just stop... get your head out of your asses for one second and take a good hard look at yourself and what you want. You can not have a what happens in vegas stays in vegas attitude towards SL but then ask for emotional intimacy that would equate to an RL S.O. relationship with someone. You want your cake and ice cream well keep this shit up the ice cream is going to be a sticky melted mess on your lap and you won't get to fucking enjoy it
