Question about D&D
I'm wondering how many of my followers play the Dungeons & Dragons? XD
I have some ideas about this. I started playing it, too, and I liked it. Maybe in the future I will draw custom maps for this game. Of course, if it will be interesting to someone. :3

" -You are completely naked, holding a club in one hand and a Goblin sword in the other. In the box you find a magic mug and 400 copper coins.Orcs are running after you. What are you going to do?" It's just a million-dollar question. More precisel: 400 copper coins. Yes-copper, but 400!!! XDDD
There's quite a few in the Vilous channels who are very avid and talented DnD players though who can definitely work with you.
XDDD
I more meant why the hell we character customization freaks who love roleplay already aren't all actively seeking out all of these systems! Like every furry should be finding their way to at least one TTRPG table. We even have them at cons now though I do get that's a limited resource that consumes even more limited resource of time!
I've started with D&D, switched to AD&D 2nd Edition and then to Earthdawn, followed with a new Group which played a lot of Star Wars D6.
I returned to D&D when the 3rd Edition came out until the 4th Edition came out, which was when we changed to Pathfinder, which we see as the better 4th Edition. Recently we tried Pathfinder 2, but that's an entirely new game in too many regards so we switched back to the original Pathfinder.
What I could look up on D&D 5th Edition looked like a step back to AD&D 2nd Edition.
We did continue to play in the Forgotten Realms world with Pathfinder for a while, but it became too familiar and the work we needed to put into for new material led us to create our own world.
Though I must say that these days I don't like published content too much, mostly because my standards have changed. If I buy a book as a GM, I want something I can use, not something I have to put hours into to create a host of NPC's and flesh out organizations before we can start playing. If I have to do that, I can build the world from scratch myself and save the money.
As for rules, I'm tired of D&D and Pathfinder in the spell department. They keep reusing the old spells, change the magic items and leave me with a mess on how to create them as it looks like they change the rules for the spells and as an afterthought try to explain how the listed items were made.
Sorry for the long-winded answer.
A fantastic game in spite of (and sometimes because of) all its flaws.
I personally like Pathfinder. It's not overloaded with excessive mech like 3.5e and not too much restricted like 5e.
DND 5e tends to be the easiest to learn if you wish to start
Still going strong!
