People probably haven't thought of Newgrounds in a long time since it's that old Flash animation site to many.

Yeah, i was kinda surprised when i discovered it was like a full-blown art site now and even has lots of furry stuff since i only remembered it from way back in the day when it was just animation

Question is, is it a potential replacement site to FA? Plus it an art site or a Tumblr-esqe type of site?

It seems to be a lot like FA in how it's structured, albeit with more features and a more ...corporate feel? i guess. Maybe it's more like Deviantart. But it's definitely a gallery
I don't think it's a replacement for FA, as there seems to be very little interaction unless your art gets like sponsored or whatever, their design and algorithms seem designed to only promote stuff that's already popular

I'm seeing adult stuff there even without logging in or clicking on a warning.

Not that warnings really stop anyone, but...

Since the Great Exodus Of Tumblr, I'm seeing more and more people opening accounts on Newgrounds. It's funny how a site I forgot about and thought didn't exist anymore, is actually alive and well, and possibly the last bastion of pretty-much-anything-goes free expression on the Internet.

I have been on Newgrounds for more than a decade. XD

This is hilarious, how that site is still doing well.

Yeah, it's a relic but at the same time it seems to be thriving!
