Gaming for Kitties 2020!

General
Well, with three months to go until Kitties it’s time I did a writeup.
Before anything else, We need to address the elephant in the room. Yes, we’re fundraising for THAT Big Cat Rescue. If you have seen the Netflix documentary you should probably read this: https://bigcatrescue.org/refuting-n.....ix-tiger-king/ One thing they don’t tell you regarding documentaries is that they can lie all they want. If you still don’t agree with them, no harm, no foul. But I’ve supported this cause for almost a decade now and I’d like to keep doing that work.
With that out of the way, let’s go into the basics for the people who have no idea what I’m on about.
1. Gaming for Kitties is a 48 hour gaming marathon to benefit Big Cat Rescue. The event will happen October 24-25, the weekend before Halloween.
2. We give away prizes every hour. You don’t have to donate to win those prizes as that would be considered gambling.
3. We do fun things at every milestone we make. For every $1,000 we earn, Fox gets a Strawberry Lemonade Snapple which you cannot buy in the US anymore. I import them from Europe. At $3,000 (BEFORE THE STREAM!) Fox is going to go a Dinosaur theme park in Florida that has very inaccurate Dinosaur models and people will be there to record the reactions. During the stream itself will be having the pit crew try weird Japanese foods and doing all sorts of fun things for donations.
4. As always, Fox will be here to record fun things as our official Court Reporter. Those of you unfamiliar with the concept, Court Reporters are people who draw courtroom scenes because cameras are not usually allowed in courtrooms. As most of us don’t look very photogenic during the streams, we have Fox do drawings of us instead. You can see Fox’s drawings from last year here: https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery.....orter-Year-Six And you can easily find the ones from past years and other events by looking in the other folders.
5. If you attend my gamestreams, I can assure you that the ones I play for Kitties are a whole different ballgame. I have games I save just for the marathon that are fun and unique experiences for everyone. It’s entertaining enough that people often make sure they know the dates so they can request time off of work just to sit here and enjoy things with everyone.
6. This year is going to be especially rough due to the pandemic and the documentary, If you want to help, please spread the word and donate.
7. Our donation page is here: https://www.mightycause.com/story/Kitties2020 If you get a blank page, please disable your adblocker.
8. Your donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. The reason why I use that site is because you can use the receipt from your donation on your taxes. If you’re scrounging for deductions, consider this!
I will have a separate donation pool open for helping us have food that weekend. We are expecting 10-15 guests for pit crew this year and I would like to make sure they all can eat. I have a private document where I’m tallying up costs and things that I will be happy to show you if you’re curious about what I plan to do and how much I need. And before anyone worries we WILL have proper social distancing guidelines and things for people here. Everyone who comes will be issued a kit with hand sanitizer and multiple cloth masks that have been treated to make them more effective, and we’re going to have guests in two locations, my house and Fox’s new place which is giant. I’m probably going to do some temperature checks and things as well. (I mention this just because I half expect someone to jump on me about not being safe.)
Again, the event will happen October 24-25 If we make $3,000 before October 22nd, Fox will go out with some of the pit crew people and hit up am old dinosaur theme park and suffer through their out of date dinosaur models. And for every $1000 we make, Fox gets a snapple.
I really hope to see all of you there!

I think it's wonderful you're still supporting them, even with that *cough cough* piece of trash show that bashed it. You guys/gals have my support always.
It gave off great big tabloid exploitation vibes from the moment I first heard of it, and I've stayed away in disgust.
I'll try to drop in for chats and to say hello at least once, hon.
