Hey guys!
I hope everyone is staying safe, healthy, and comfy during these weird times <3
I wanted to make a small journal to reach out and say hello since I've been a bit quiet overall since making this account back in late April (I'm a bit shy, whoops). I wanted to let you all know that I'm very thankful for every watch and kind word you throw out there; it means a lot to me.
Also, I wanted to see if there were any bases or themes you guys wanted to see more of? I have to say for as much as I love the Monster Hunter adopts, I'm getting a bit burnt out on them. I feel my inspiration leaning more towards the more fantasy-based designs - D&D, MMOs, etc. That said though, if you guys still love the MH stuff, I'll continue to throw one or two in each week.
The auctions are a bit slow this week as I'm taking a mini break to work on a ref sheet of my new D&D bab. My DM has a ratfolk race inspired by Warhammer's skaven, and you better bet my new soulknife rogue is a little rattie badass. I can't wait to show her off as I'm going hard on her armor and weapon design (you guys will see some of my linework skills instead of just coloring :) ). I was a bit frustrated to find out that there are very few rat anthro bases that aren't cutesy or chibi. Where's the skaven love, FA?

I'm happy to see some more love for the Skaven.
I'm poking at a Skaven based Artificer or Alchemist for Pathfinder :3
And heck yeah for the ratties! An Artificer or Alchemist sounds absolutely perfect. If you ever get art of them and want to show off, please shove it in my face. I love the little bastards and wish there was more of them <3
I'll be happy to share once I'm done with it.
Nah, I don't mind. But keep in mind that doing the same bases as one another if we can help it probably isn't the best idea business-wise, you know? But up to you, of course. I'll be picking up the gnoll soon to see how it does before picking any of her others up.

Hm, you and the others do have a point about D&D adopts not being super common. Even my own fantasy themed adopts are difficult to bring to a game table because of the NSFW elements. You have given me things to ponder!
Also I personally wouldn't mind seeing more Turian adopts or some Geth :D

I got into Warhammer when the MMO came out some years back (recently messed around on an emulator for it too), and just really loved the lore. My partner plays Total War Warhammer as well so I geek out with him over that too XD
How about you?
And yiss, ratties are best (I'm also a druchii fangirl, hurr). TWWH2 is such a solid game, but I can see getting burnt out after too much XD
And right? I have so much respect for skilled model painters. It's insane what can be done at such a small scale.
