Planet Elthrin:
Elthrin is a large garden world (more land than ocean) populated with a variety of flora and fauna. This mountainous planet is home to a variety of races, such as the Boreal Drakes (Thaldri), Zyth, and the ancient Elith.
To most, Elthrin would seem like a cold and unforgiving world, consisting of colder biomes such as taigas, tundras, mountains, and arctic reaches. For the denizens of the planet, they have adapted in such a way as to thrive in such harsh climates. However, there temperate regions of Elthrin, consisting of gypsum deserts, mushroom forests, and places of ash and lava in the South.
Much of the flora and fauna would come across as alien or bizarre, including the landscape to which they live. Towering creatures and even larger plant-life exist due to higher oxegyn levels than Earth, but with slightly more gravity which results in much of the fauna to have a stockier build.
Ancient Elith ruins dot the planet, and are carefully watched by the surviving species as sacred shrines to their ancestors. Much of their kind remains a mystery, but their mark on the world has had some.... undesired effects.
