Yeah, someone I thought was cool invited me to his discord server where their friend who literally had KKK in his name and the confederate flag as his pfp was posting racist shit. The guy had screenshotted rules from MY server where I said discrimination of any kind wasn't allowed (I had specifically stated racism, sexism, etc) and said that "this isn't allowed here" then quickly deleted it a few minutes after I joined as if I didn't already see.

He tried to play it off too like apologize for his racist friend but I'm like "You know I saw your screenshots of my server right?" I feel disgusted I ever added him or tried to introduce him to my friends. We had just met him from Among Us but we never thought he was racist or anything because he never said anything of the sort. :/

Yeah I'm super tired of the stealth and overt racism that's tolerated in the fandom to be honest

Yeah, I ended up unwatching a few artists who did questionable commissions, one of which was Nazi art. I was blown away. Sad part is, they did multiple Nazi pieces for people and used one in their art commission price sheet which is how I first noticed it.

Yeah being from the south, while I understand it's become a different symbol down there, I also understand the intersectionality of it and refuse to claim it and hate getting a bad name from the ones that do.

I can't stand it. The confederates were traitors to the states, and losers. Loser traitors don't get a flag. And there's some dumbassery going on with people trying to claim it for 'heritage' sake. It's not our heritage; we're united states citizens not members of the confederacy.
