Well, I may have gotten scammed...yep
Found the pics of the same head here- https://www.furaffinity.net/view/19636027/
Definitely a scammer..and I fell for it.
My money is likely gone forever...But now you guys know not to buy from these fucknuggets.
I found an advertisement on facebook for a site called funproper.
They have some really good looking fursuit heads- https://www.funproper.com/
But after making an order, I began to notice a bit of badly written english on the site, and I started to get suspicious.
There have been halloween companies that have begun to make inexpensive fursuit heads- usually rather cartoony.
Thats what I thought this might be- especially after seeing the paid advertising post on facebook, who are usually pretty good about preventing fraud.
But some checking on google said the site has only existed since July...And is using or may be using stolen images for their offered goods.
So, since the orfer was placed only a few hours ago, I have tried to cancel the payment..but the site sent an email claiming my order was being processed within minutes of the order being placed.
So now I most likely have to go through paypal's entire horseshit refund policy to even get any answers.
This is what I tried to order- anyone know if this is a fursuit builder's pics?

updates if I ever get any answers...

If at all possible use a credit card with merchants you don't know. It costs credit card companies nothing to reverse a charge and they'll not challenge you on it if you don't do it often.
Also, an image search engine like tineye can help (but not guarantee) images are not stolen and reused.
I've read many stories of Indian sites offering cheap armor, using stolen images from armourers in the states.
I have no idea why I did not check these bastards out online for reviews before making an order.
I contacted them and requested cancelling the order- and I was actually surprised when one of them replied and claimed the order has already been shipped out.
It hasn't been, of course, and they did not give me a tracking number.
I don't have credit cards, so paypal is my only option.
Used to be, paypal was pretty good about canceling shady transactions if you contacted them promptly.
But looking over the site now, theres no easy way to cancel an order once made.

Done it.
Now we see if I get any satisfaction, or pound sand.

But it was cheap enough that I figured I'd see if I could work with it to improve it.
I've done that with knockoffs before, sometimes successfully, sometimes not.

but ya... looking at the link, selling that for 40$ ??? that's super shady
