ONE month until KITTIES!
THE BASICS
The event will take place ALL of Saturday and ALL of Sunday October 24-25. We have people attending live but this is a completely online event and the people here are here to lend a hand. Those of you who watch online get access to the Court Reporter Suggestion Box and the HOURLY raffles.
So the moment it is Saturday o’clock here on the east coast? Get your butt to https://littletales.tigerdile.com OR https://twitch.tv/genesisw
Donation link if you would like to donate to Kitties Our goal this year is $10,000 and we are already a third of the way there: https://www.mightycause.com/story/Kitties2020
(P.S. Your donations are 100% tax deductible.)
If you would like to help us pay for food and pit crew expenses, anything you donate will help as it isn’t cheap to feed ten people for a few days. Please donate to that here: https://www.paypal.me/littletales
THE UPDATE
I wrote the above because some people only visually scan these. So the meat of everything is below….
It’s slightly less than a month to go now, so I thought I’d give you guys an update on Gaming for Kitties.
Thanks to RadioPete we have made it to the 3K goal well before the deadline of October 22, so the excursion to the dinosaur park is a go and we will make sure everyone knows the fun that was had by all.
Remember if we make 10k during the Marathon the gotcha movie this year Fox (and the pit crew) will be forced to watch is CATS. Yes, the bad one. The recent one.
THE PRIZES
People are continuing to donate prizes to the point that I almost think we have as many physical prizes as digital ones this year. Thank you everyone who has been so generous so far this year. We’re all extremely grateful. The physical prizes so far include:
An AMAZING hand knitted cap in the Overlord’s colors by Griseldacat
Books and plush from The Dreamkeepers
Four Kigurumis
Three Vermont Teddy bears from Brombear
Five book codes from Chaaya
A hand loomed scarf from Witchiebunny
Metal poster plates from Displate from Chakat Blackwater
Socks from Australia from Jaycee
Audiobook copy of The Art of Madness by A. J. Mayall
Two decks of Megaplex 2019 playing cards (not available for purchase!)
And there’s more, but I need to hammer out details with some people.
As for the digital prizes, I have a ton of codes that are good on Steam and Epic or downloadable straight from HumbleBundle. I’m picking ones that are at least $20 and any lesser ones will be because the game is fun and I think people will like it. But for the most part the codes will all be premium games.
THE REST
And those of you who stuck it out to read all the way? The very special thing to look out for during this marathon. Remember last year when I got Steve Blum and Sylvester McCoy to give us video messages to play to thank our staff? Well this year I have a WHOLE LOT MORE, including Grammy award winning musicians, 1980’s icons, voice actors, Broadway stars, and some faces you might recall from your favorite movies! As we hit donation goals, I will be releasing these messages as we go along. They’re wonderful little gems, each and every one.
What is the charity?
What are y'all doing?.

We also do fun things when we hit certain donation goals. As an example I told folks that if we made 3K BEFORE October 22nd we would take Fox and some of the people helping out to a Dinosaur theme park here in Florida that has really horrible out of date dino sculptures. As Fox is a dino nerd it will be painful. BUT, we also do fun things for everyone else if we hit other goals. Fox gets a snapple flavor that was discontinued here in the US (Strawberry Lemonade) for every 1K raised, people get to vote for the horrible movies the pit crew is forced to watch, and if we make 10K Fox and the crew must watch the horrible CATS movie that came out earlier this year.
All in all it's just a really fun thing that you can watch from home and still participate.
Love the big cats...
Never even knew we had a fake jurrasic park!
I don't remember when it was but I don't think it was too expensive so I won't hold it against you if you have no idea what I'm talking about, but it was this cute series of sketches or whatnot where Gen would engineer our deaths in humorous ways.
