Does anyone know what happened to "Generation X"?

All I ever hear and see in the news and online is "boomers" complaining about "millennials", and "millennials" complaining about "boomers"... and "zoomers" complaining about both.
Meanwhile people born in the 70s and early 80s are like "Dude, I'm so totally used to this bogus shit, man." and "Don't label me, bro!" and "My mom gave me a key to the house because she had to work when I was a kid, so I can deal with this shit, easy."
Gen X'ers are already being called the "New Forgotten Generation" Or "Forgotten generation, EXTREME!"... That is, by people that even know they exist.
We don't get any love, or hate... It's strange, but at the same time a lot better than the bullshit mentioned at the top.
Forgotten by society, but at the same time while people are nostalgic for the time we grew up in.

Granted I had similar experiences growing up but that due to having parents that separated when I was less than three years old and my mom being a flight attendant and my father being a unreliable bipolar basket case who hasn't had a real job since Clinton was in office due to SSD means testing combined with a inability to hold down anything in a professional setting long term.
In all honesty, though, I totally envy you guys: the soundtrack your generation grew up with is 100x superior to the one mine got. (I mean, I personally was raised on the same sounds, but taken out of their proper time context, it's just not the same, y'know?)
Though NOW we have "Synthwave" which gives me a massive nostalgia boner.
I also find it funny that I am telling people what the world was like before the internet more now. I feel so old lol
