Types of Art in relation to the Artist
On art websites one way to categorize art is on the motive of the person who made it.
What do I mean by that? Well here are the categories.
Personal Art: This is art that an artist draws purely for themselves. It's not a picture drawn for someone else for money or for free.
Commission Art: This is art that is drawn for someone for money. As in someone asks someone to draw something specific and pays them to do so.
Trade Art: This is art that an artist draws for someone in exchange for a picture of their own.
Collab Art: This is art that is worked on together by multiple people.
Gift Art: This is art offered to someone for free.
Request Art: This is art where someone asks someone to draw them some specific for free.
Adoptable Art: This is art with a character that you purchase the rights to draw.
Your Character Here (YCH) Art: This is a template commission where you pay to feature your character in the art.
Pay to view Art: This is art you have to pay to see which is typically posted on Patreon.
That's all I can think of for now.
