Nov. Update (Opinions Wanted)
Hard to believe there's only two months left in this cursed year. Unfortunately I've gotten a bit behind where I wanted to be with my art. College has kept me busier than I anticipated, but that'll be wrapping up by December. I do have a piece in the works that I'll be finishing up this week, but otherwise I wouldn't say to expect so much art this month. I'm wanting to really solidify my art style and my process. I also want to work out a separate process for quicker drawings. The idea is to have a real methodical and deliberate process for my polished, rendered pieces, and then a more optimized, truncated process to churn out more sketchy pieces.
I'd really like some opinions on what the strongest and weakest parts of my art style are. I really want to get an idea of what parts I should keep/bolster and what I might want to scrap and redevelop. I also want to encourage more feedback on my artwork, I really want to hear your thoughts so I can make my art the best it can be. And yes, this includes criticism. As long as you're not a dick about it I'm not gonna take it personally, and I don't wanna see any white knights coming to defend my honor. If there's something you think I'm doing badly, I wanna know so I can maybe do it less badly.
I hope November treats you guys alright. I really appreciate you all.

I see you play with dynamism and vary your pov's and angles, which many artists don't even dare try.
I notice most of the stuff you do is very toony, and while that's not wrong by any mean, Ithink it'd be interesting to see you approach more complex characters and anatomy, in the sense of more exotic forms shapes and creatures, robots, armor plating, etc!
One more thing I'd like to suggest, experiment with light and dark, specially light sources and temperature tones, go hard with highlights, with cold or warm hues on characters and backgrounds, that shit works hella well with mroe paintery styles, using highlights and specific tones for cellshaded pics..
I think you could analyze the things
Hopefully that helps!
Plz pay 400 dollah now uwuI really want to do more detailed/monsterous designs sometime. The way some artists can make scales look is super appealing to me and I wanna try to do stuff like that. Definitely need to brush up on texture and materials for that though.
I have been experimenting a bit with light sources lately. I definitely need to work on values and pushing more contrast, though. I find myself kind of anxious to create too much contrast a lot and I think that lack of confidence is definitely having a negative effect.
Looking at the style rather than features, I think you make really nice pieces. This here especially peeked my interest, the lines look really clean and there's stylized decisions too. I like how the colors and the theme work together, and the small particles around the couch make it look interesting rather than just monotone one color. Really nice work on that one! I can see the same style translating onto other pictures too, going back to the Switch dog; small details like the keyboard keys having been lined sharply, making them have a nice shape instead of just dull shape is a nice addition. Overall the playfulness of the shapes is one of your strengths in my opinion. I also like the fur you draw, This for example. This picture also has nice different width lines too, which definitely adds more nice depth to the picture.
So summing it up, I think your art style has a lot of subtle details, making the pictures look really clean and pleasing to look at without being too obvious. You definitely have a lot of strengths, only "negatives" I could find were just personal preferences. That's some stuff I could see after taking a quick peek >w<
Keep up the good work! I'll definitely be looking forward seeing more from you ^^
I wasn't super happy with the butthole on the Switchy pic either if I'm honest. I shoulda tucked it in a bit more and had the tail connect a bit farther back I think.
I should definitely try and think about the theme and feelings I want to convey more when picking my color palette, I usually just pick what I feel looks neat honestly.
I'm glad you appreciate the little details. I try and be pretty specific about what details to keep and which to simplify or omit. The less details there are, the more they stand out, so I tend to use that to highlight particular parts of musculature I think is appealing, or stuff like nipples, or tufts of fur in key places to lead the eyes.
Also I really think there's always ways of improving, art is always evolving skill x3 But you also gotta remember to appreciate what you've managed to achieve already. You are an amazing artist, and I think the only way is up if you keep learning and trying out new things - little playfulness is always good and keeps the art fresh!
sorry guys, show's over deleting my fa in 5 minutes
