Any other artists get this? Where you have art block..but you don't really. Like you can do one stage of your art no problems but the next stage you can't even get yourself to pick up the tablet for.
Like the second I think I gotta ink, art block hits can't draw. But I'm having no problem with sketching. (Except for being lazy about uploading. I've got a few stashed) I may do more sketches tomorrow..but I doubt I'll be inking anything.
Sorry to anyone wanting to see inked art
(At the moment the only ink owed is the last one planned so far of my many trades with yosh and hes said I can take my time. It's actually half inked)
And sorta half owed is the picture I promised donny for his birthday (Its on the list dont worry) )
But theres been mention that I've only been sketching lately so I wanted to explain it

I try not to block anyone unless I really have to. It feels mean.
I think he just misunderstood the journal or something.
I was assuming maybe he saw my mention that I might sketch tomorrow and thought I meant it as a sketch raffle (hes entered a past one. Got a sfw pic of two birds on a rollar coaster) and was trying to enter.
It is something I dont draw of course but I was hoping it was just a misunderstanding.
But regarding your subject, ari, I guess that there are likely a lot of people who dabbled into inking and coloring but somehow lost the drive or didn't find it as entertaining as sketching was to them.
Really though, you don't have to feel bad about that you perferably just sketch for a while yourself. Who knows? Perhaps you get a new breakthrough by trying out various things with that style of drawings in particular soon. Just have fun with your art. That's what counts most. ^_^

Regarding Ink Block', I get that way with writing. I see it in my head, I know where I want to go, but actually taking all the outlined ideas, ensuring proper character word use, etc. can often numb me unless I can get into 'The zone'.
If what you can do is sketch, I say keep on sketching until you feel like doing more. You could also see if any friends may want to finish the work post-sketch? Would make a fun collab. :)
Your good too take as much time as ya need for your sides too
That's a good idea but I doubt anyone would want to unless it was art of them, or I was paying to have them finish them
