Should anyone be surprised about this? Disney is not the only one that knowingly does this to writers and designer's a like.

Yeah,  Esteban mentioned this earlier today. Shocking. One of the most profitable companies in the freakin' world, and they treat creative people like that. I don't buy their products and I won't support them.

You would think that in the middle of the streaming war and Disney+ not yet making a profit that they want to keep good writers not scare them away.

Especially with Hollywood starving the movie theaters to death right now, leaving the streaming services as the only way to make a profit with shows and movies.

You know, depending on how their response was phrased they could just as well argue that they didn't buy any of the other obligations of a company they bought. Like for example, it's debts.

Let's see what the banks have to say about that. You know, banks like the ones Disney loans their money from. Like the one they took a loan from to pay the loan they took up to buy Fox with.
Now wouldn't it be funny if a bank repossessed all those Fox IP's because Disney can't pay the second loan and isn't getting another?

The entertainment industry would have a field day if these IP's went for an auchtion one by one. Just as a reminder, one of them are 'The Simpsons'.

Just speculating/dreaming.

my son worked for Disney for five years and the stories are just... well... it's totally wrong what they do...
