I mentioned it on twitter already, but for the last several days I've been unable to taste or smell anything, I went to urgent care, took a covid test and it came back positive. I'm pretty dang pissed off about it, since I've tried to be as cautious as I can this entire time.
Something, something, tried so hard and got so far and in the end it didn't even matter...

But needless to say, I'm quarantining at home for the foreseeable future. I don't have many symptoms, aside from a general kinda icky feeling, like I have a cold, and the smell/taste loss is a huge bummer. You really don't notice how much you rely on those senses until their gone. But if this is the worst that it gets, I'll consider myself lucky, knock on wood.
