Plans for 2021

Well, 2020 was quite the year, wasn't it?
I've been looking back on my art commissions for the past year and making plans for what I hope to do in 2021:
- Update my FA profile page
I've felt my profile introduction could use an update for some time now. Specifically, my profile is currently written as my fursona Kajika whereas I feel like I should rewrite it as myself. I'd also like to do some write-ups of profile details for each of my characters and provide links to those in my profile. As it stands there's not much mention of my Andalite fetish and a few promises and details of things I've wanted to get to but haven't for a long time.
- Find more high-quality, NSFW artists
While DeadliestVenom remains my favorite artist, I also love the art done for me by RedRaptor and CLB, and I'd like to find more artists with similar art styles who do NSFW content, preferably who are not shy about drawing more unusual fetishes. I also love and appreciate the art done by all the other artists I've commissioned for SFW art and will continue to commission artists with various styles for that in the future.
- Weiko Reference Sheet
One aspect mentioned in my current profile that I've really wanted to get out there for awhile now is Kajika's open-relationship girlfriend Weiko Breacher. I love the reference sheets DeadliestVenom did for Kajika, Erchya, and Anidele and have been hoping I could have her do Weiko's, however she unfortunately isn't open for commissions very often and I really want to start getting art with her into the mix. I need to write up a detailed description and finalize some details but I for the most part know what she should look like. I would like to get a reference done for her sometime in the first few months of 2021, and perhaps have an updated version done by DeadliestVenom sometime in the future.
- Write stories
I have some commission ideas that have stories that go with them, and while I do enjoy writing stories from time to time I really have a hard time getting into the mood to write. I'd like to do some more writing this year. I'd also like to potentially commission art (possibly a comic) based on a NSFW Animorphs fanfic I wrote a few years ago involving Tobias and Rachel from the Animorphs. I also have an old NSFW story involving my character at a sauna that I wrote with another character that I left behind after submitting it to the owner of that other character and never getting a response. I might look for someone to replace the other character so I can edit them into the other person's place in the story and do an art commission on that.
- More Andalite storyline
I'm very proud of my Andalite characters and happy with the establishment of their character arc. In 2021 I'd like to commission at least a couple more pieces with them exploring different aspects of "human" sexuality, starting off with simpler things and gradually becoming more lewd and experimental.
I have also given some thought to adding a Hork-Bajir character to my stable at some point in the future, although I would like to focus more on Weiko and the three characters I've already got for now.
- Kajika, SFW & NSFW
I intend to continue commissioning art featuring my fursona Kajika as well. I've had good experiences with both a NSFW and SFW YCH recently and would like to do more of those, although due to Kajika's no-anal rule most M/M NSFW YCH's don't really work well for him. Of course there will also be other original SFW commissions depicting what his life is like and NSFW commissions with partners that I'd enjoy being with if they existed IRL.
One more vanilla NSFW I'd like to do at some point is Kajika and a female Lucario, and I'd like to do submissive BDSM pics with guest characters as well.
- Amorous
I remain a fan of Amorous and would love to do another Amorous-related piece with Kajika in 2021. I'm considering contacting the owner of Jax (my 3rd-favorite dateable character) for permission to do a NSFW with him. I still would like to find the owners of the Skye and Coby characters for a future commission or two if at all possible; in particular I have a great idea for a SFW picture of Skye, and between her personality and her looks both in and out of cosplay she's someone I'd really love to do a NSFW with someday as well.
- Fursuit, Conventions being more outgoing/active, personal life, etc. etc.
I was hoping to have a Kajika fursuit/murrsuit made and to attend Anthrocon by 2021, but due to Covid shutting everything down as well as my income declining a bit that's definitely not going to happen. I do still want to get into fursuiting eventually but it's going to have to wait until at least 2022. I am very particular about what I want and know it's going to be really expensive, so I need to wait until I have enough savings that spending the money isn't going to cause me financial problems with more necessary things.
I also want to try to become more outgoing and active in the furry community, at least online, in 2021. I've always been a major introvert and outside of the occasional post or comment on FA and a couple small groups of friends I'm not very social. I would like to join some furry Discord groups and chat on the FA boards and Telegram more often, but it's difficult for me and much like with writing stories I really need to force myself to do that.
Outside of my furry life, I do want to cut down on wasting time and be more productive. I spend a lot of time playing the mobile game Bit Heroes and watching YouTube videos and while I will continue doing both I do want to make time to catch up on anime, console games and other shows that I enjoy but have been neglecting.
Finally, I do appreciate all the favorites and positive comments I get on my posts, it really makes me happy and inspires me to continue commissioning furry art. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. Hopefully things will start getting back on track and 2021 will be a much better year for everyone! <3
