Welp, that's a thing - UPDATE

[Update]
Found a solution! Helpful soul linked me to others with same issues who found another software to help work around HP Solution Center, so I can control my scans again!
Thanks for all the suggestions and comments, I'm just so hecking glad to get this solved this quick, because I seriously had no idea what to do!
Quick thanks to Ransiel for providing the links I needed to figure out what to do.
All is well.
Oh yeah, the solution. PaperScan Software. Goes past the Flash driven parts of my solution center, so I can get access to the control part of the scanning program.

Is free too!

Turns out the HP Solution Center thingy I use to control how my art gets scanned, was run on Flash. And now gone, it won't let me do the thing anymore.
I can still scan by pressing the button directly on the machine itself, but without the program it'll just pick at random what parts of the paper to scan on its base setting where the values are off and I lose the pencil shadings and alike.
As a traditional artist, this upsets me, as majority of my uploaded art is pencil sketches. And pencil colouring. And pencil shaded. You catch my drift.
And I'm not smart enough to figure out a functional replacement. My printer/scanner is almost as old as my computer, which is 10+ years old. Kept running by proper cleaning and added ram.
I have no idea what to do to fix the issue so I can get to scan my art properly again.
Just letting ya know as I'll probably only put up old art for now until I find a way to fix the scan values for anything new.

Aka I'm very tech dumb and no idea what that is.
There is still a way to run Flash, but you have to use the dev environment for it (and Adobe complains to you for using it before you download it). I don't think it'll work in this instance, however. How exactly is the app run? Is it on your computer? Or is it run in-browser?

Vuescan was also listed as a possible solution.

I know you only just linked me to someone else finding a solution, but I can't thank you enough! If interested, you get a free art request in thanks, I'm just that relieved!
Certainly don't expect anything for just relaying info,
but wouldn't complain if we got to see some saucy? Twilight sparkle
