where I finally get caught up with EVERYTHING.
Im tired of being where I am when it comes to commissions. I'm stressed and tired and frustrated.
With myself.
I hate looking at how long my queue is. I hate the feeling I get when I see how intimidating it is.
But that's going to change.
I have to come to terms that it's going to take time. In a perfect world with limitless time, I could get it done within a month. But I KNOW it's going to take a while. And accepting that is important.
I always say this but everytime I do, I absolutely mean it. I wouldn't be where I am today without all of you and your patience and support. You've helped me grow so much since I started doing this in 2015.
But I need to make serious changes to the way I do everything and that means my first step is admitting to not just everyone but also myself. I have BIG plans but these plans cannot happen without me getting to a better place in my queue.
Step two? Making those changes.
My art goals for this year:
Eliminating my queue
Eliminating refunds
Fall in love with art again.
Art is my only source of income. And being reliable links directly to this.
but BECAUSE art is my only income, I can't not take commissions as I work. What I won't be doing is taking on huge ych batches. I will be doing them one at a time and making sure I finish the new one before I think about taking on another. I habe a fantastic support system and relying on that is what's going to help me I think.
REGARDING NOTES AND CONTACT:
I'm going to be limiting my contact drastically. My discord is still available! And my notes will remain open! But I dont have much time to devote my day to answering updates or socializing.
I WILL be accepting notes asking about character changes or refunds! For updates on commissions, please refer to my trello!
IF YOURE HAVING TROUBLE FINDING YOURSELF, use the search function!!! Type in the first three letters or your username and it will pull up your cards!
I will not be devoting much time asking for updates as I will be doing my absolute best to keep my trello and refund sheet up to date with my progress!
At the start of the week, I'll put up a journal that shows the commissions I will be taking care of for the week. My trello will also reflect that!! And my featured journal will have links to my trello, this journal and refund sheet AS WELL as the week's current worklist! So knowing my progress will be easy to refer to!
