Hiatus + Covid Battle

Hello everyone!! Keeping this quick but needing to say something because Its been a little while since I've actually updated here!
I wanted to make an update for the last month or so. I had been on a brief hiatus initially as I was really struggling with my artwork! As I was planning on getting back into it, Deci ended up catching Covid unknowingly (despite always being careful) and bringing it home. He is vaccinated so it didn't kick his ass too bad, however I am not-vaccinated (and not because I dont believe in it, get vaccinated people) and when I got it, it knocked me on my ass for no joke, over two weeks and it's STILL going.
I ended up in urgent care once and the ER TWICE because my Covid developed into Covid-pneumonia. I also was confirmed to have the delta varient. Let me tell you when I wished for death multiple times, ugh
I think I'm finally on the upswing and recovering from my toe to toe with covid. It's going to take me some time to really get back into it but I'm going to try to get there asap! It's just going to take a little bit of time.

I got afflicted with it pretty early on last year (or at least, I'm pretty sure it was Covid... this happened about a month or two before anyone knew what it really was, but the symptoms lined up all too well looking back on it). I didn't need to go to the hospital like some people, but I was bed-ridden for four days straight with what I initially thought was just a particularly bad cold, and even once I recovered enough to move about, I proceeded to spend the next week or so just feeling fatigued all the time no matter what I did or how much sleep I got the night prior. Nasty stuff... and to think I was "lucky" compared to others.

A couple of my family members had caught COVID too, but it was before the Delta variant came along.
It's seriously no joke. It's a frightening thing to watch your loved ones get it, and suffer so much...
I'm vaccinated, and I do wear my mask, but it's so anxiety inducing still!

I'm hoping and praying you'll make a swift recovery, but till then, we'll be waiting for you, whenever you are ready~ ❤
