According to my homies who've seen it, yes. It's an incoherent mess in which everything goes by so fast that the viewer doesn't have time to absorb the information. But upon second viewings, there are a lot of setups without payoff and crap that came out of nowhere because they wrote themselves into a corner. My guy inside Disney says that the final cost was something approaching $650M because of everything they had to do multiple times.

Since 1977, I have seen every Star Wars film in the cinema on its opening week. I saw TFGW twice--first to enjoy it, and again to see if I missed anything because I didn't. I saw TLJ once and was so disgusted by the incompetent storytelling that I nearly walked out on it. I saw Rogue One, but discovered that it didn't stand up to repeat viewing (went socially with friends who hadn't to see it two more times), and skipped the last two.

I have my DVDs, and I am content with the first six films.

I have Disney Plus and I still haven’t seen the last two movies!

I am going to enjoy not watching “The Acolyte” whenever it shits out!

The prequels I see with rose colored glasses because I saw them with the kids I was mentoring at the time, and they loved them. So for me, it's less their quality than the associations I make.

I'd recommend seeing the rise of skywalker, but from the standpoint of entertainment based solely on absurdity. I mean at the end they basically try to recreate the mace windu vs. darth sidius confrontation, but still had to "overdo" it. My friend and i were genuinely laughing our asses off through the whole movie because it started feeling like someone wrote some gag manga but tried to take it seriously.
