Recently watched the first Back to the Future movie again. And I can honestly say it still holds up very well. In fact it was better than I remember. The sequel was really silly. Still very funny to watch though. I appreciate that they took a chance and made a ridiculous looking future rather than a boring one. Just thought it was funny that 2015 looked more 1990s than the 1990s did. Lol

Part 2 however, they came a bit closer to reality than anyone at the time expected I think. Cubs even won the world series one year later than predicted amoung other things.
Definitely agree it holds up to this day.
Even that bit where they had various celebrities on the screen at the cafe in 2015, iirc it was either google or microsoft that just applied for a patent that looks like it may be used for that kinda tech.
Was something along the lines of training an AI on a particular person to mimic their speech/phrasing.
Meanwhile in the real 2020, the 80s are a fad again with things like synth and vaporwave.
Also the one that I feel is most overlooked: super precise weather forecasting. Legit you can have your phone ding 15 minutes before it's about to rain at your current location.
