I'm a naturally angry person. Always had anger issues. Often have to stop and look at things I appreciate to remind myself not to give into bitterness. But it is hard sometimes, it really is.

It's very easy to succumb to the negative when you're slogging through the shit. We're all going to experience it at some point, in some fashion.
Lots of folk have and rely/lean-on their theology or philosophy to get them through it, and I have no issue with that tactic (If it works for them, that's GREAT!).
For myself, I've used my anger/rage as FUEL to push/drag/SHOVE ME THROUGH and PAST/OUT of very bad situations. Maybe not the best way (I'm certain my nerves/heart would prefer another!), but again, it worked for me then, and right 'Now' what it's doing is giving me a VERY keen focus on the world around me, because threat is real, it is there, and we have creatures in it actively hunting others.
Not a calm, pleasant, relaxing existence, I will admit.
For some of us, it keeps us alive while others are blissfully walking into trouble.
For what it's worth. Take a 'Negative' and use it to attain something positive. If you CAN erase or get over the 'Negative' to achieve peace? PLEASE SHARE IT!
I often feel anger too, even when the logical part of my brain says it's nonsense and the reason is minuscule, and I should just let go. I'm afraid when it's gonna blow up back on me.
Yeah I have the same issue to be honest. Its like fighting against a hard current. You know you shouldn't let your feelings take over, but then again we're not always logical creatures, and emotions are strong.
