It's gettin' to look like autumn here in the Pacific Northwest... There's a blanket of fresh snow on Mt. Hood and the folks up at Timberline Lodge have started to test the chair lifts in preparation for ski season on the mountain. The winter constellation Orion can be seen shining brightly in the early morning sky these days and the sound of thousands of Canadian geese calling to one another as they wing their way southwards fills the cool daytime air. It's time for crabbing, clamming and best of all, it's time to cuddle up with someone you love to enjoy hot mulled cider by the fire... God, I love this place!
