Life Changes

I wish for you . . . you know I do . . . when I’m wishing on a star . . .
So it has been a busy couple of months here and a good portion of the activity surrounding that came to a head this week.
First:
and I got married. It was a small but sweet ceremony at the local courthouse. We plan to have an actual celebration with family and friends once the current dumpster fire that is COVID dies down and more people have access to the vaccine.
Second: We bought a house. We finished the closing process yesterday; this was a very time consuming headache but worth it. Now for the process of moving in and setting it up.
Third: I finally qualify for my first dose of the COVID vaccine; I will be glad to get this out of the way.
More things are coming down the pipe in the near future. Hopefully things will slow down a bit by the end of summer but we'll have to wait and see.

I'm in the process of buying my first house at the moment, and I feel your pain. The conveyancer expects the contracts to be signed in June, after I contacted them at the start of March. Wheee! :P
