Dinosaur Traaaaiiiin

How is Dinosaur Train not more popular, it's like a goldmine of cute characters. Or a fossil bed of cute characters, if you prefer a more dinosaur-appropriate analogy
Wish it was easier to watch... maybe that's the problem *touches chin thoughtfully*

Buddy: "I have a hypothesis"
TIny: "he means, an idea he can test"
I AM however, mildly disappointed they STILL aren't portraying feathered dinosaurs. At LEAST the dromaeosaurs, if not theropods and further.
I honestly am glad it's somewhat unheard of in the community since it doesn't get a flooding of grotesque content.
Also, it's pretty educational. It actually teaches you about the three periods, not just Jurassic and tons of dinos I've never even heard of.
I went to watch it again but it was removed from Netflix in my region. :<
Did that train really have a steering wheel?
The fact that the intro ended with the camera going right into Ms Giganotosaurus' mouth made me wonder if the animators were intentionally playing to our interests at times...
And another show that had serious delight to watch was The Koala Brothers (We're here to help!!!). They actually put a few episodes on DVD and a Christmas special.
Of course, this is very much not the case; it actually is an educational show... Albeit one that doesn't seem to know the age of its target audience.
The first time I chanced across it, a brontosaurus was explaining to Buddy and Tiny... *deep breath* That he's too big to do his business discretely so he just shits as he walks.
The second time I chanced across it, one of the dinosaur expert humans was talking to the camera about dinosaur teeth and how whichever species was the focus lost and regrew new ones constantly. Then he asked "Can you name another animal that loses and regrows teeth all the time?"
Me: "Huh? Wait, we're doing the Dora the Explorer crap with this? Umm... is this another animal in the show or-?"
Generic kids: "Sha-a-a-ark!"
Me: "Oh, right." (awkward pause) "Umm... Are you sure your target audience will have already learned that?"
I would imagine a lot of people -- kids and adults alike -- never gave it much of a chance for similar reasons.
