...and you want to make your journal pop? go here:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/55619625/ Don't be in the gutter, please. This is a real species of bird and not a part of a female rodent that gives milk to their young.
Some of you would be lucky to be living away from North America, but if you decide to move, do your research, it seems that this bird does not care-if you have the fur or hair, they will peck!
If really, you do not mind losing your fur, they would be OK-much better than having bloodsuckers like mosquitoes, ticks, leeches and many others in which many give as a thank you gift, a risk of getting very sick and dying. if you are into biology, this in ecology is parasitism.
The videos shown below will give an example of commensalism. You will see, for a titmouse wanting to have something to build their nest when it wants to rear its young, they will want follicles.... Heck, even foxes who would prey on these could not mind! They don't even fear cats!
Raccoons be wary...
Even you dog furs-though are the most domesticated-are liable!
And oh yes, the shaved monkeys can have their hair messed up by those birds! Note here that if you go to the page, where the vid is on YouTube, her bretheren have cut some hair off, but these birds somewhat avoided the cut hair-in this case, they prefer it fresh!
So be wary, if you furs value your beauty, these birds are PARASITES and could make you look ugly!
Well, in the case of RL, there are the crazy times that they will have the opportunity when the titmice will get ANY material that is fuzzy- here is an example of one pecking at a toy:
...and a pillow cushion...:
So it is going to be a concern for fursuiters in which that these birds will get any fabric to make their nest. You will have to be wary that if it is nesting season, you will have to guard your fursuit from these pests. Of course, it would not be the only bird that you will have to be wary of when you're in the US, Canada or México-once these birds get to you, they may not stop as of course, your fur is NOT REGENERATIVE. Imagine a banditry (group) of titmice attacking your partials, fullsuit, head, and hand&foot paws! So this is another reason to not have your fursuit outside even after washing to dry it or to get rid of a smell. You'll never know if a bird will be gathering such material to build their nest and cause damage to the parts. ALWAYS KEEP IT INSIDE-the birds in RL are birdbrains (Sorry to featheries-making a point.), and they have no care or knowledge to know if you need that fur-it's their instinct and survival that is always on their mind and will stop at nothing to live life and rear their nestlings. Consider titmice parasites to fursuiters!
