Saying Goodbye to Twitter and Opening a Subreddit!
In recent light of my decision to deactivate my Twitter accounts, I needed a new place that would serve as a hub for all the things that I'm working on, and I have decided that making a subreddit would be the way to go. With a subreddit, I can not only make organized posts dealing with updates relating to all of my projects, but it could also serve as a cozy forum as well! I will also be submitting concepts and sketches to my Ask Tumblr from now on, which means that there will be unique art pieces there you probably won't find elsewhere! I also occasionally open up for Asks on the Tumblr, where you can ask any of my OCs anything and get their answer drawn out!

Inkbunny is the only one that seems to have made an improvement in this regard: If you favorite a submission there, you temporarily see a list with some 8 other submissions like it, thumbnail previews and all. That's the sort of constructive and non-intrusive engagement intended to help you find new content that I like
Otherwise, on this note, I'd take a look at decentralized services like Mastodon too. Albeit they have a bit less adoption, though some artists are moving to those too now. I'm a fan of everything decentralized and compliant with the Activitypub network, whereas by comparison Reddit is one company's product thus one entity has life and death rights over every community on there.
So far I mainly used Reddit to get help with specific projects, since some prefer using it instead of setting up a forum. And other groups there but usually technical stuff unlike Twitter where I watched more artists as its system made them easier to find.
I never really cared for the sudden influx of artists to twitter, as you said once an artist went to witter actually finding them is hard and actually going through their art is even harder.
aww
"to Twitter"
Yeaahh!
Sadly Twitter is the only platform where I can interact with the eastern artists that are basically my main influence by now, so staying there is a must for me. In addition the eastern community is so chill that its almost like its own world, a world where "if you dont like it just ignore it" seems to be the law (unlike westen furries where it feels like "if you dont like it, kick it out of the platform".
Its also a shame to see how Pillowfort, who couldve been a good alternative to Twitter, fluked its inauguration to a point where it isnt recoverable anytime soon. Being honest, I am not really very warm towards Reddit in general, but I can see why its probably one of the best options. Good luck with the move.
