Marvel Eternals....wtf.
My Politics and Social views are ideas that I believe work. If something does not work I call it out.
So I guess after you eat a huge steak dinner, you have to expect crap.
And this looks like crap!
I saw the action figures and I was like...."Is the Black guy wearing a dress?"
Well it's not a kilt.
Moreover wtf is the plot?
The perfect people will save us?
CGI will restore our sense of wonder?
Marvel is not about perfect people, Marvel is about flaws.
We are flawed but still rise to fight or help.
Kathleen Kennedy is mostly gone from Lucas but will still screw up Indiana Jones.
I am enjoying The Bad Batch and I hope when Disney does well deserved success!
Good Point!!

I don't really know much about the Marvel Universe until these movies But honestly! These comics look infinitely more interesting!
Also not stalking you. xD I know it can seem that way on this journal haha.
JRRM ruined that by murdering main characters in ASOIAF, which is why it was so popular and loved for so long even before it became a TV show.
At least Luke was a whiny teenager who, whilst might be a decent shot and was a decent bushpilot...couldn't fight his way out of a paperbag.
The reason (aside from the 'Muh'vertexpectations') flaw in Ruin's movie, was we were all hoping for some explaination of why Rey was so talented in the force.
It's like looking forward after a so-so meal to a damned fine cheesecake only to get dry, stale toast instead and told the chef was having an "Artistic phase".

And needless to say people are...angry...over that idea alone I even hear even Mark hates the idea. Neither Mark nor George like Bri.
They fight for social justice, I.E. Sins of the past must be made whole by causing the Descendants of the perceived aggressors to suffer. Take my family on my Fathers side. "White" therefore my Ancestors had slaves. They didn't, they were slaves but never mind that. If there Society is not given Justice, then there is harm being done. So they 'Fight' for Social Justice, and thus: Warriors for Social Justice or Social Justice Warriors.
Now since they rave like children all the time, it's easy to make fun of them. Plus their position is questionable in and of itself. Further, they are very aggressive people in general and so people often use the term in reference to a LOT of different meanings now. Mostly Derogatory in nature now adays. Personally I try to use terms directly. If I want to say someone is stupid, I'll justify the comment. :P If I don't, I will if asked. :P But sometimes if I take someone too seriously and start presenting too much information they just, leave. Means they weren't interested in a conversation in the first place.
In the end, It is good to have Conversations about Politics as that is what creates strong voters. Today, people don't seem to know 'how' to do that anymore and are happy not to learn the way. Sad.
But Comics are fun too, even though I'm not really into this stuff.
But I was shown some of the comics. xD
*Yawn*
"We have never interfered"
Pick One
Drop Spider-man cross-over in this movie at the end and you'll have fans lose their collective minds over it, which I wouldn't put it past that happening as we know Spider-man Far from Home hinted at them.
Now I'd love to see if anyone filmed a certain golf match in Florida in 1947. Mom was at it with some cousins and she sneezed just when Ben Hogan was trying to sink a putt.
...This doesn't look too bad.
It just looks bad.
"This AI Robomuthafukka all liftin' up Sokovia?...nah I ain't gonna press muh pager.."
That's the problem with prequels, is you have a serious case of dissonance if done badly.
WW: "she's been broken up since WWI and just let everything else happen...like the Holocaust and the Vietnam war and such..."
I mean okay that doesn't seem like what Diana would do...but at least it's consistent with Batman v Superman. Oh no wait, in 1984 she made everyone (even the people who maybe wished not to have cancer or Aids or have some dead loved one back or whatever) give up their wishes. But no she was "totally inactive between WWI and 2016. Oh here's her helping out at (probably) Auschwitz...and...here's her helping out there...and.."
I mean make up your mind movie.
It's like in Star Trek.
In TMP, everyone understood "okay they have a bigger budget, and they're doing a serious movie and the 'SlavOrientalMingTheMerciless' look wouldn't fly.
Everyone understood that.
Then along comes that DS9 anniversary episode with the tribbles. Worf's all "We don't talk about it".
Then Enterprise has to come up with some convoluted explanation.
See, to me, the best thing they could've done would be to have Worf just wind up looking like a TOS Klingon. Maybe Terry Farrell could've given the camera an aside glance; but that's all it needed.
(-‸ლ)
And it's not like Trek (even DS9) was without it's little comedic moments.
Meanwhile Spider-Man? A movie that’s not pushing any woke trash agenda is making money hand over fist. Funny how that’s working.
But if they want to continue, fail and go under, that’s no skin off my back.
