Any particular reason for this?

I've noticed a trend amongst famous FA artists- and the internet community at large- for egoism and delusions of grandeur. I'm not wont to causing drama, so I'll keep the identities to myself; however a number of people seem to forget the fact that, at the end of the day, they're just drawing pornography to a crowd of hormonal social pariahs who can't actuate their desires and/or obscure fetishes in the holographic (i.e. 'real') world and, unable to express theirselves, pine for someone to express them for them, resulting in a sort of sycophantic power balance where both the artist and commissioner trade each other for self-worth.
Now, don't get me wrong; I'm all for obscure porn. It's the superlative exaltation of the artist's work and subsequent overinflation of their ego that is troublesome.
