my dad used to download all sorts of freeware/open source/whatever games, and a lot of them were pretty cool, but all I have are vague memories of gameplay and the titles just escape me.

one game was a 2D sidescroller sort of thing. you could play by yourself or with another person. you'd go to another screen with all the rabbits jumping around and the goal would be to crush the other rabbits. you'd jump on them and turn them into a bloody mess, but they'd respawn instantly somewhere else on the screen.

this was the whole point of the game; i don't remember any high scores or anything else about it. also, adorable music played on an endless loop all the way through.

there was another that was basically that snake game (running around eating fruit or whatever and getting longer and you can't run into your own tail), but 3D. i think it was multiplayer too. some features may have been disabled until you bought the full game. anyway, you were a snake eating fruits on the ground in a little field. the perspective was 3rd person, as if you were riding on the snake's back. the field had dark woods surrounding it... if you went into the woods, you died automatically. it may have been bloody?

and the other one i have any memory about was a 3D game where you were an anthro cat. it was a puzzle game, but i can't remember the exact mechanics. the levels i remember were a forest, a beach, and a castle.
