Other artists get me motavated, as well as other works like movies and games. If that doesnt work sometimes drawing out basic things like cooking or sleeping or day to day things seems fun to get myself into drawing something :P

Granted, I rarely get done what I NEED to do, but for me, but in terms of Second Life crap, I make a list of the things I want to do or intend to do, loosely in the order I'd get to them, and start planning far in advance for it. It gives me time to think up unusual twists for things, and eventually get excited about it once it's a full-fledged idea or concept.

Beyond that, I listen to pounding techno music whenever possible. Not only do I love that, but it keeps me awake, sharper, and entertained beyond how I normally would be. Right now I'm listening to some of iconrenardv:'s music, in particular:

*visits back*... oh, the links with the .pls file extensions at the end, those are all streaming music urls. I'm not entirely sure how they work, but rather than being an actual page, it's some sort of thingy that constantly feeds out information. Or something. I was hoping ya were familiar with streaming music, but if not, no time like the present!

Anyway! If you have Winamp, you can copy one of those links, open Winamp, File Menu > Play Url. Then, paste the url and accept, and bam, streaming music. If you don't already have Winamp, it can be found h'yarrrr:

From what I've seen, the .pls file format relates specifically to Winamp, but if you even have Windows Media Player, the other url formats for the links I put up can be found at di.fm and sky.fm. Windows Media Player handles entering music urls the same way, but with "Open Url" instead of "Play Url", and requires a different format. I'd still recommend using Winamp though.

Some other music sites offer streaming music too, so keep yer' eyes open!

I'm not online very much and because of where my system is plugged in, it's in the middle of a TON of noise all day long, and worse, my music is annoying to everyone around.

I agree with Night Furson: Find music that pumps you up. =)

For me, it's power metal (Like, say, Dragonforce, or some of Blind Guardian's songs). It tends to get me *really* amped, for some reason.
