Wow long time no see
Hmmm how to begin this Journal ... Well let´s start with an end
Last year I lost my job I had for the last 14 years. My whole factory went down and all my co worker and me lost our jobs. (They still own me roughly 10K but when I will get it is up for debate)
Thanks to covid it was almost impossible to find a new (normal paying) job neverless got a few interviews but these turned all out to be unfitting (I mean getting payed less that my unemployed benefits ? or getting racist comments the moment you walk into the interview?)
Slipping into depression is really easy from that point onward.
I couldn´t really had my friends over ( a few even caught Covid over time) so I mostly was alone and didn´t had any meaning to let steam off.
Now after over 200 applications I finally got a new job in a big factory. Job is really nice and the pay is good.
I also got my two anti covid shoots. So I´m vaccinated.
and that´s where I stand.
I´m sorry for not being communicative but I just didn´t feel up to talks.

Sounds like some MAJOR improvement! Been pretty darn rough, but I'm so glad to hear things are improving again!

It´s a really big Improvement the last two years my old workplace became rather toxic without me realising it and my workplace is rather fresh

Just getting to a new place can be SUCH a breath of fresh air, you often just can't *tell* how confining and toxic a place has become, the degree-at-a-time effect is very real.

Glad you found a job and got the shots. Got mine as soon as I was able to - essential worker - security. Frankly I was surprised I didn't catch Covid 19 with all the people I encounter during the work day.... Working at state welfare offices - we still have a mask mandate for state workers and contractors and have someone cleaning the public areas constantly.

Thanks and yes sometimes it´s a bit of a mysterie why some get it and others don´t *shrugs* I´m glad that when I asked my doc he directly offered me an appointment

We had a vaccination center set up at the local mall - took over the empty Sears building. Make appointment on line got in quick, second shot ended up being on May 1. I know a few folks who are terrified of the vax - couple of them have caught the crud and one regrets not getting the shot. The other is still in denial.

You may have caught covid and not realized it. I only know I had it because I went to the doctor for a sinus infection and they tested me as a precaution. Turned out to be extremely mild covid.

While that may be true I don´t think so because every other day I do test me with a quick test (not the aldi test things real medical ones) because my mother is in the medical field working and has to test herself regulary and I have a 90 year old grandma in my household and so we test and so far no positive results

I'm so glad that things are starting to improve for you! Always nice finding a good job, and now you should hopefully be able to see friends again!
