Reptu Anthro Terms of Service
Last Updated 2022 September 24
Introduction
By commissioning Reptu Anthro, the commissioner must agree to the Terms and Conditions listed. Failure to accept or comply with the Terms of Service will result in the termination of the commission.
Commission Start
All commissioners must be at least 18 years old.
The artist reserves the right to deny any commission for reasons including but not limited to subject matter, description of details, etc.
Payment
The entire payment must be sent upfront through by PayPal. Once the artist has verified that the payment has been sent, the commission will be started. For larger 3D projects, a payment plan is outlined, stating the different stages at which the payment will be made.
Refunds
A full refund may be granted only before the commission has been started. However, after the start of the commission, only a partial refund may be given, depending on how much work is done on the project. After the completion of the project, no refund can be made.
For 3D Projects
• If the project is not started, a full refund may be granted.
• After the 2D turnaround stage is completed, the project total minus $20 may be refunded.
• After the 3D modeling stage is completed (no materials), the project total minus $200 may be refunded.
• After the completion of the project, no refund may be granted.
Add-Ons
In the case that commissioner demands an add-on at the before or in the middle of the commission, (alternate versions, different backgrounds, with or without a prop) a fee will be added to the project total. It is recommended that the commissioner requests this add-on at the initial description of the project, so that this fee will be factored into the total payment.
Content Use
The commissioner may request the artist not to post the project, and not include the project in his portfolio. If not otherwise indicated by the commissioner, the artist will assume permission to display the works on social media and through his portfolio. Additionally, the artist has the right to not display the commissioner’s work on said media.
Character Ownership
By commissioning Reptu Anthro, the commissioner agrees that the character(s) they are purchasing art of are either theirs, or they have consent to purchase art of said characters.
Edits
After the project is completed, the commissioner may crop the image without permission from the artist. Additionally, another edit that does not require permission is background removal. Any other edits require the artist’s permission.
Commission Wait Time
Unless otherwise specified, the average turnaround time for 2D art is 2-3 weeks, 3D character head models can be 1-2 months. If delays occur, the artist will notify the commissioner.
Commission Status
Please check the spreadsheet here: Reptu Anthro Commission Status. Note that the “Percentage Complete” section is merely an estimate, so it could change the farther the artist gets into the project.
