Looking for Arabic speakers! (MSA)
Hi! This is maybe a strange journal, haha.
Wife and I started learning Modern Standard Arabic about 2 months ago, and I'm really enjoying the process! I grew up around a lot of Arabic so I'm already pretty familiar with it, this is just my first time trying to speak it properly. I feel like I'm past the beginner stage - I can read and write pretty okay, I just don't know a lot of vocabulary and I'm still learning grammar.
It has made me curious, though, do any of my watchers speak both Arabic and English? Any native speakers? I am not looking for a proper teacher or to pay for lessons, just someone to chat casually with (mostly in English, at least for now), to learn and practice ^^ You don't have to be super familiar with my work, but that would definitely help, since I think I'm a little boring otherwise LOL.
I don't have much to offer in return, except maybe help with English, if it's your second language. Or if you're an artist who speaks Arabic, maybe we could talk about art :)
شُكراً لَكُم
Edit: we're learning MSA haha. Forgot to say!

I recommend using the Hans Wehr dictionary.

Also, MSA is a good base, but everybody speaks dialect in real life. I feel like most people learn Levantine and Egyptian in North America because it seems to be most common.
While I remember a few phrases and how to count, I would probably end up learning more FROM you than helping you learn. :)
Good luck on the studies!
