“You can use the palace communications center. We can carry a message long distances, even across the seas from there. When you reach him, inform him to speak to the administration at Hall of Elders. They will direct him from there and tell him where to board their high-speed ship. And ask him to expedite his departure. There will be no need to wait for a timetable, as they will leave the dock as soon as he is onboard.”

“Understood.” she said, before taking her leave of the man and hurrying down the halls to the communications room that the emperor had spoken of.

Just as she opened the door to leave, she was startled to her prince on the other side, about to walk in. She apologized, politely, to which the young tom offered a kind pleasantry and a warm smile. He stepped aside to allow her to escape the bedroom and hurried down the hall. With the doorway now clear, the boy stepped in, holding the hand of small girl with shining hair.
