usually about 95% on commissions(yes i sell art so i can buy art), and the remaining 5% on videogames to play with my husband on the rare day he has off.

that might be changing soon tho! as i gain experience, i become more satisfied with my own style, thus not being as interested in commissions from others. i also make more sales, which opens up more possibilities for what i can do with my earnings.

i'm looking at moving to 50% for home improvements (currently we are figuring out a fruit garden!) 20% for commissions and still just 5% for videogames.

i just felt like sharing because i'm excited to get to be able to contribute meaningfully towards my environment instead of just buying small trinkets. we're gonna have blackberries and peaches and MAYBE blueberries and cherries, if we can scrounge up the space and funds.
