Hey everyone I talk to.


I know that as of late, I have been on less, talking to everyone less, been joining games less, and generally seeming more disenchanted/distant.

No, I'm not angry.
No, I'm not ignoring you.
No, you didn't do anything wrong.

I recently got promoted to GM status at my store. Which for people not in retail means, it's MY STORE. I'm the boss.

Now some people go, "More money, less work!" Not true. The first week I was GM, we ran out of product, someone got stabbed outside, people called out, and I logged 60+ hours. Sales were up over last year, and despite lack of product, we were able to sell to everyone.

I'm tired.

Tired.

I used to play games, and talk with lots of people. Now I have to spend the majority of my time at work, and when I come home, I really just wanna lay here and veg. I miss talking to everyone, but something that's been bothering me, is that people will ask me to game, and I'll tell them I can't cause I'm tired, or I can't because my roommate is eating up my bandwith.

I'm not lying. If my roomie is using his computer, I have literally no bandwith. It pisses me off, cause games like Dungeon Defenders, I can do absolutely NOTHING.

And the tired thing? I'm not bullshitting. There are days I work 10+ hours. I don't wanna come home to people complaining that I don't game with them anymore.

I have bills. I have rent. I have a real job that requires my full attention all day. And even when I get home I need to worry about the store.


So to everyone, I miss you all. I wish I could be around to talk more, but to put it plainly, I just started as a GM. I'm tired. I'm very very tired. I worked 8-5 today, a nice shift for once, and when I came home, I was exhausted.

Who you're friends with when you look at your entire buddylists and feel like you can't talk to anyone about the death of a friend.

I've been getting so many, and I'm feeling bad for spamming your pages...

theunborn is in some real trouble right now. She has been dealing with medical issues for the last few months which has eaten away at her bills, and cost her job. Her roomates job cut his hours and then fired him without any form of notice. He has already started a new job but they wont get the payment in time to pay the rent, and they are already without electricity. Dhampyre uses her collaboration commissions, and her commissions to help pay bills. So please, PLEASE if you can then help her, put out the word for her. Cause not only has she lost electricity, but if she can not pay rent this month she will loose her home and her animals will have to be put into a kill shelter cause there are no no-kill shelters in her area. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP HER! Even if it is just passing on the word.
