Well, somehow, the addition of journal ratings on FA has nuked links all over the site.
Links to other sites.
Links to streams, dropbox, youtube, etc
Even links to other FA pages.
I don't know how they managed to mess things up this badly, but I'm almost impressed.
Did they test this change at all before releasing it to the public?
I hope they fix this, or back track the change quick, because I foresee this causing a LOT of issues.

I thought I'd hold a free event and give away a Macro portrait, but with a twist.

Please include the character's name, and whether you would want your character being Good, Neutral, or Evil.

On Sunday the 12th, I will take all entries and run them through an RNG. The top six names will be placed on a Mystery voting poll.
On Monday, everyone can vote for the slot they want to win. The slots will be revealed once voting is closed.
I thought this would be a fun way of giving away a pic, without it becoming purely a popularity contest.
If this goes well, I may add it to the rotation of free events.

As the end date for Windows 10 support nears, I am debating on whether or not to upgrade to Windows 11.
I have seen what 11 looks like and heard a lot of conflicting info on both sides. I have antivirus software on my computer, so I'm not too concerned about security risks. My laptop is getting on the older side, still works good, but isn't exactly new. So, I may get another couple years out of it.
So, should I go ahead and upgrade to 11, or stick with 10 for now, and upgrade to 11 when I eventually get a new laptop?

On Friday, August 1st, I will be opening a few slots for Doodle Comic commissions.
Art has been slow this year, so I haven’t been able to open commissions as much as I would have liked to.
Now, I will be increasing my prices. My commission prices have been stagnated for far too long. I have tried to keep my art fairly cheap, but as things get more expensive, I can no longer put it off any longer. So, due to rising costs, and pushing from a few of my close friends, I have increased my prices. I hope people will still find the cost fair.

On Friday, I will post my price sheet and take entries. This will not be first come first serve. I will RNG for slots, to keep things fair. I will post more information at the time.
I figured I’d give people some notice so they could plan ahead, gather ideas and what not.
I look forward to seeing what people have planned for this round.

I wanted to pose a bit of a thought experiment.
Music is tied deeply with my thoughts, and so I link songs to a lot of things. My characters, places, things, and even my own brain.
Whenever I think of the inner workings of my own mind, I tend to think of cogs, gears, springs, and steam. Ticking clockworks and steam power. All of it pitched with music, might be a reason why I have a fondness for Steampunk.
