It's been 4 years since I've changed my journal, wow...

I'm not going to give you all a huge wall of text to read, because it's not important. I mean, it's important for you to know I'm back, but the little details aren't that relevant. MANY things happened through these years. I've let many comissioners down, and I'm sure some of them might be very upset with me (with reason, I won't take it away from them). But the last few months I've been thinking about it all, and I decided I can't continue like this. My name is in the dirt as an artist, and I won't live with that. I will clean my name, so I'm putting this journal up for a single reason: If I owe you art, of any kind, from any time, let me know. It's been very long for some, but yesterday I finished a very overdue comission, so I'm reaching out for you all. Let me know. I can't remember everything I owe, so I want you to come to me and refresh my memory, please. Tell me what you asked for (or even change it if you want), resend your references, and I'll get to work on them. I won't follow any specific order, just letting you all know. What matters is that I'll be doing them.

I just ask that you don't be rude about it. I know I'm the wrong, I know it must have felt terrible to pay for something you didn't receive. But I'm trying to reinvent myself. I'm working on a new identity as an artist, but I couldn't do it while leaving those comissions behind. So I'm trying to redeem myself, and I hope my past comissioners will help me with that.

Hey, guys! I know this will sound repetitive, but yeah, I'm back on track AGAIN for my comissions. I lost track again a couple months ago, and it all started when my HD blew up and I lost ALL my comission work, including several important files and templates for my Man Up! covers... but it's not time to fret, you guys deserve the best, and I'm doing my best to redraw everything that was lost. I'm also redoing my Man Up! cover template, so I'll open more of those comissions soon!

Now, to business! This is the list I'm working on, and those are the arts I'm going to draw, and I'll consider myself free once they are done:

Sadly, I lost track of my notes, so I really don't remember who they are, and what they wanted. So please, those people, tell me again what it was! I want to make amends with everyone for all the time lost, really.

Aaaaand, I'm also opening Sketch Comissions! They will be simple sketches for $15 each (+$5 per additional character)! I'm much faster with sketches, so I can do them pretty quickly, so there will be no delays on those! I REALLY want to start making a name in the fandom, so I'll do my best, and that I promise you all! So please, if you're interested in a sketch from me, just send me a note! The money will help me greatly, and it will also be used for refunds in case anyone wants one from the delayed comissions.

Yes, you're reading it correctly. I'm finally coming back! After fighting with so many issues, so many problems, depression, and so many other things, I'm happy to announce my coming back.
Now, first things first, the arts I owe so many people around here. I'm sad to announce that there will be just a bit more of delay in my delivering of them (yes, I'm ashamed to ask for more time after all that time). My computer's hard disk decided to give me an error message a couple months back, and the technician who looked at it messed things even more, to a point I'm unable to use the drive, which means I lost all my art. I only have a couple of them in my pendrive, but unfinished, so I'm touching them up to post them. So, please, bear with me some more, and I'll post all of them as I draw them. Today I'll be posting a couple of them, so that's a good sign! Means I have internet working, finally!
I'm also happy for more things. Yes, the delay in delivering your arts is shameful, but I can't stop being happy for finally starting to break through an art block that took its toll on me a couple of years ago. I AM fighting. I still have depression, I still don't have money to see a doctor and buy medicine for it, but I AM FIGHTING. I will end up victorious in this, I will come back, and I will continue making good art for you, for me, and for the good of all.
For my comissioners, a deep, truthful apology. I will understand if you don't want to see my face after all this time, but I hope others will still have faith in me in the future, when I open comissions again (I don't know when it will happen. Gotta finish the others first).

Some bad things have happened over here the past months, including an increase in my depression, and that has been keeping me from doing the things I like to. I know a lot of people must be looking for me, with reason. So I'm posting this.
About the comissions I'm owing people, please rest assured that most of them are done. The problem at the moment goes deeper than that, sadly.
I don't have internet at home, basically. I had to move back to my mom's house this week because I didn't have enough income at my job to keep my own place. However, we found out yesterday that there are no lines available to install the internet there. It's not a money problem, and there's nothing we can do about that. I'm frustrated, depressed and whatnot at the moment, for various reasons, but mostly because I can't post your arts. This journal is being written through my phone using the Wi-Fi at my job, so that's why I can't post anything. My phone doesn't have that kind of function...
That being said, I'm looking for other options, but that will take time. Again, sorry for who are waiting for a comission. You have no idea how devastated I was when I found out I can't have internet at home. I've received all kinds of notes, ranging from nice to threatening, regarding the comissions. Again, I'm sorry. You'll have your art, as soon as I get internet at home.

I was planning to open these once I had ALL my past comissions done, but I'll have to do them in between the ones I'm working now. Don't worry, this time I WON'T take as long as I took to finish them, I promise (and you'll understand why in a minute).

The problem is that I'm really short on money currently. Some of you know the hardships I'm being through with past bills (which have become really big). It has come to a point in which I have developed depression and it has really been eating me from the inside. But I'm fighting against it, it won't win.

So, to help me out, I came with the idea of sketchmissions. They are much faster and easier to do for me, so they won't take as long as it normally takes for me to finish a full colored comission. Also, they are cheaper, so it will help you guys as well. Please, if you can, buy one, share the word... anything that could help. It will be greatly appreciated.

HERE'S THE CATCH! (for me)
I'll open spots as I feel are needed (don't worry, there will be a LOT of spots as time goes by). BUT, you WON'T send me the payment until you have received your sketch! That way, I feel motivated to finish them, and if I take too long, you can keep your money with no hard feelings.
So you can take a spot at your heart's desire, send me a note with what you want in the sketch, and I'll draw it. Once you receive your sketch, you send me the payment. Win/Win situation!

I'll also keep opening spots for Man Up! cover comissions, so all of you can get your hunky stud in a cover! Rule 34 allowed!

The prices will be as follow:

SKETCHMISSIONS:
20$ per sketch. +10$ per additional character.

They will be a full colored cover with flavor texts.

Only MALE characters for the Man Up! covers (because, you see, it's called MAN Up!...), but your character doesn't HAVE to be gay for them.


How to get one:

I'll open 5 Sketchmission spots for now and 2 Man Up! spots. To get one, just send me a note with "Sketchmission" or "Man Up!" as the subject and tell me you want one. You'll receive an invoice from me as soon as possible telling you if you got a spot. If you got a spot, send me the references and specifications of what you want me to do.
I'll work on your Sketchmission or Man Up! cover in between the comissions I'm working now, so it will take a little bit of time (a little, I PROMISE!). Once I send you your Sketchmission or Man Up! cover, you will send me the payment. Just like that. Easy for me, easy for you.

It's hard to accept apologies from an artist that has taken over 6 months to finish your artwork, I understand. So I will not take too much of your time with long, helpless apologies and go straight to the point.
First of all, a huge sorry for those who are waiting for their artworks. I did have a really hard time the past few months with overdue bills and other serious financial stuff from the time I was unemployed. It becomes a real snowball quite fast, so it has been hard. That did have an effect on me and on my projects, both personal and professional ones. That's why it took so long for me to get back on track.

But, I'm happy to announce that I AM back on track! I'm done with another one of my Man Up! covers, and the others are finally on their way. My depression left me a bit, so I'm taking advantage of that to finish up for you! So, I know it sounds stupid, but please just wait a bit more as I finish them. I plan on finishing all the rest before posting, I just posted the Link one to show I'm indeed working on them.

Also, as soon as I'm done with these comissions, I will be opening up Sketchmissions to help me get rid of that snowball of bills. So stay tuned! They will have new rules (for me mostly) to secure my comissioners from waiting so long for their drawings. Starting with the fact that they will be sketches, which I can finish quite quickly...

It's also my brother's...
We've been through pretty heavy shit at this moment. We are indeed healthy, breathing and such.
But we've been overwhelmed by the bills we need to pay. I feel ashamed to say that, specially because I'm the one who was jobless until now. So we got bills over bills at this point, and it came to the point where I had to gather the last of my coins today to pay for my cat's food. I can live without it, but they can't, and they don't understand why there's no food. They are animals, after all.
I'm really happy that I do have a job now, though. I started to teach at an english course, but for the moment, I'm only teaching one class per week, which will earn me just enough to pay my loan to the bank, which I don't want to leave untouched.
The money you guys sent me was so welcomed, and used to help. But unfortunately it wasn't enough. Bills keep coming every month, and even though things will get better from now on as I get more classes, for now we are indeed desperate...
My internet will be cut on Monday, and this time it's for sure. I hate to ask for donations, I really do. I feel ashamed that I have to, that I need to be asking for your kindness like that. But I don't know what to do anymore... and I want to keep drawing for you guys (I haven't uploaded or anything until today because I was doing a lot of things for this job, which included some training), and I want to be able to keep in touch with you.

So, I was thinking lately... and please don't link the contents of this journal with any of my previous journals.

I could start this journal with the famous "what makes someone popular?" question, but I think it would be too overrated. However, it does sadden me a bit to be living at a tangent of the artistic world, be it on DA, FA or any other place. And I believe it is me, actually. However I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe it's the fact I live in a different country than USA, so I can't go to cons and such to meet new people and get myself promoted; maybe it's because I don't post art as frequently as other artists; maybe it's my art quality.
I'm very critic with my own art, so it really takes a while for me to decide to post something. I do admit that sometimes even something that I get to post may not look immensely artsy, though. But still, I know artists that post less than I do and with a little less quality, but they still seem to have a lot of people caring for them, drawing them things, having them cited around because they gave a fun talk with another fellow artist and such things.
It will sound egoistic, that I am certain, but I dream to one day have those things. And I know every Artist (with a capital A) out there will understand what I'm talking about, even if they say otherwise.
This journal is a bit of a paradox, though. Because I started to accept the fact that I will always be living in the tangent, that I will never have a popular Facebook or Twitter page, or even an Youtube channel with millions of views. However, something makes me feel I should write this, at least once. At the very least so some other fellow artists know that they are not alone in this kind of feeling.
I always believed, and still do, that you should get known by your own abilities. Not because you asked someone to share your videos, or because you asked someone to post your drawing on an image board. People who know me knows that I barely ask those things, if ever. I still believe that I should earn views or popularity by simply sharing what I can do with the world. Maybe that view is wrong to become popular or to get many friends, but I don't want it to change. I think it's a pure, honest way of living.
Maybe this journal will earn me some haters, which is possible. I'm expressing my view on something, so it will surely clash with other views. I'm prepared.

For those who read this until here, my sincere thanks. Now you know a little bit more about my view of something, which is wonderful.

Well, things are STARTING to go well with my life. Today I'm going to another english school to start learning their method so I can start teaching there (sadly, the previous school didn't choose me). So I will probably start to have some income soon, even though it will be small at the beggining because they don't have that many classes to be taught right now. But I'm getting there.
Man Up! comissions are coming along pretty nicely! I will soon post a couple more of them, and go on to the next ones!

However, I do need to ask (which is bad, I know, please don't judge me) for donations right now. Not because I like sucking anyone's money; it's really a need. My internet will be cut on Monday because we couldn't pay the bill (being unemployed sucks...), so if anyone could help us, by sending a small amount of money, please, we would be forever grateful, since the internet is where I get my income for now. She moved out today. Took everything that was hers and left. We didn't fight or anything, but I'm shocked she didn't say at least a little goodbye. She said nothing, actually, and if I hadn't woken up at the time I did, I think I would probably wake up to find out she left without saying anything (I woke up and went to the bathroom, and heard her picking up the last boxes with her friend).
We sent her a message, asking if she was actually going to say goodbye or anything. She replied saying she will come tomorrow to talk. Still, I don't think it's normal that your own sister would leave without even saying bye, or telling you she would come the next day to talk. If we hadn't sent the message, we wouldn't know that.

Anyways, enough drama. I'm still under training to become an English teacher. I will probably start working (if everything goes well) in the next semester. That being said, I'm working like crazy on the Man Up! covers now, and I will post the new one tomorrow. Yes, sorry for the time it is taking, specially for those who comissioned me. My sister is getting everything ready to move this week, so we have been a bit busy. Also, I have to prepare some classes to show to that English course, so they can see if I can get the job or now. But please don't worry, I'm getting to them slowly, but I am doing them.

So, yeah, just like some previous journal entries, I'm in a financial emergency again. But this time, it's worse, MUCH worse.

But let's start with some good news, shall we? I've been unemployed for a couple months now, but at the moment I'm training to be an english teacher at an english school here in my city. The work is amazing, the people are amazing, and the payment is amazing as well. Of course, I still can't tell I will be hired for sure. These trainings are given to us so in the end they can see if we can teach according to their methodology. This Friday I'm going there for the next training session.

However, here comes the bad news. My sister is getting ready to leave me and my brother. Let me explain: we are currently living in a house, only the three of us. At the moment, only my sister and my brother are employed, so it's already being hard to keep up with bills and stuff. Because of some personal problems (emotional problems, mostly; as she said, nothing to do with me and my brother), my sister was planning to move and live on her own. She explained everything to us, how she was feeling, how she knew it would be hard and etc. And she said she would give us time to organize ourselves, which I understood would give me time to get the job, work, get paid and start organizing things for her to leave.

But today she told my brother she has everything prepared already, that she is getting the keys for her new place and that she will be leaving in a week.

*sigh* Okay, that's the story. I don't have a problem with her leaving. I will miss her, yes, because I love my sister. The problem is that she will leave and take the refrigerator, the microwave and the washing machine with her (she bought those things). Now, please understand that I know those are hers, I'm not saying they are mine or anything.

The problem now is that I am currently unemployed, she is going to leave, take those things with her, and leave us with barely anything. She didn't give us time to plan or organize anything at all, and that's the reason for this journal. I just said all this because I wanted people to understand what's happening right now.

That means that yes, I'm opening more comissions right now. I will not define the types or anything, because I will do ANYTHING to help me and my brother this month financially. That means I will draw anything, in any way you want. For price references, Sketches will be $20, Linearts will be $30, Flat Colors will be $40 and Full Colored will be $50. All of these prices allow for one or two characters per picture.

I also have my Auctions going, so if you can help by buying one of them, I will be grateful.

I do understand people are preparing to go to AC, but if you can help out, or spread the word, or anything, please do. Once I get the job I do plan on refunding people I own money to. I just need help for this month, to get things going since my sister is leaving now.
