Posted 2 years agoHi guys, it feels like I owe you some explanations.
I am alive and mostly alright, since last summer I can't draw so I slowly quit taking commissions and found a ''normal'' job.
It was nice. But my health problems are back, I don't have the energy to be communicable or chatty. most of the time I stay in bed, sleep, eat and go to hospitals, just want it to end already.
Don't worry about me, I'll be fine.
I don't plan to be back on drawing. Freelance is just too difficult for me xD ... But hope to have more energy for social media someday

Posted 3 years agoHello, my friends, I'm finally back! I'm finding myself in sorta sad condition, but feeling better, resting a lot, starting to talk with people (and a specialist!!) and I think I even feel a little bit inspired, I didn't draw anything for weeks (or months!!) and I want to get back to art!! I have a lot of new submissions to check (almost 5500 ._. ), a lot of journals to read, tell me, how were you doing, what interesting happened, some cool art made or commissioned maybe? And what about me: I'll try to collect some inspiration, and soon I'll be ready to offer you one commission slot, maybe using a commission form, or I don't know (let me know if you have any ideas for me).
I am sorry if I made someone feel forgotten, I didn't mean that, I needed to stay focused on myself, and socialization always was my weak point, not even talking about the lack of energy that provoked new limits. Please write me if you want to talk (I'll maybe respond later as it's a middle of the night and I should go to sleep)

Sorry I'm so inactive
Posted 3 years agoI don't really have the energy to being in contact with everyone rn (for a months actually..). Nothing bad happened, don't worry, just a very big fatigue. I'm sorry if you're waiting to get my attention, I remember and cherish all of you, I'm just offline almost all the time ^^' Drawing, doing home tasks, thinking about the future, spending time with family, being alone all by myself. I wonder if it's normal to have so little social energy or I need to see a professional ๐ค

Burnout
Posted 4 years agoOops, I brought myself to burnout.
I discovered myself losing all inspiration and feeling underrated. I even started to think about abandoning art.
I analyzed everything, I checked other artists' prices, I talked to my friends, I counted hours I spend on each artwork and well, today I have raised my commission prices, and it will continue to raise. The quality of work will become better and better as well. I shouldn't underrate myself anymore and I will choose more carefully what I can draw and what I can't. I hope you'll accept and understand my decision.
I am exhausted and even responding to messages takes me so much energy and time (sorry about it), but I read everything I receive and now honestly I need some kind words.
Also, I want to thank people who are waiting for art from me for their patience and all my friend for their support.
Thank you for being with me. Hope to be back soon with more words to say.

8 Facts about my fennec May
1. May was born in a far desert, but don't talk about her past, so even her exact age is still a mystery. She's not connected to her homeland anymore but has a vial filled with red sand she's carrying all around.
2. Crystal in her forehead was given to her when she was little against her will, it has a mysterious power that gives her the ability to feel magical energy in the deepest forest and go into hidden enchanted places.
3. Crystal changes the color depending on the mood. It becomes luminous white when something magical is nearby.
4. She is stubborn and hates studying, but she knows she needs to learn to use her powers, so trying hard to listen carefully to her teacher Anna. (not always sucessful)
5. May is small, light, and quick, but not very strong. She is not skilled in using weapons, so she needs someone to protect her. Otherwise, she runs from danger.
6. Most of the time May loves to be alone, she doesn't feel the need to communicate and she is asexual.
7. Despite the appearance May loves good food and eats a lot!
8. May doesn't have any useful skills, but she is in process of learning alchemy and enchanting. For the moment no success.

Be careful when commissioning someone! Repost
Posted 4 years agoI personally know several people who paid for art, but never got the artwork, this is truly a shame, but it is not that simple as it's seemed. Today I want to share the journal about not-honest artists on FA who affect the life of the FA community and put in difficulty artists who draw with all their love and inspiration.
Please, commissioning someone make sure the person is trusted.
And IMHO ask yourself do you see any feelings in their drawings, do you find the art inspiring, is it emotional, does it have a soul, and do you really want to support this type of art? Or the thing you see is just an empty business? Again, it's just my opinion, you and only you decide for yourself.

but I have changed.
I felt guilty about it. I didnโt live up to that personโs expectations. I don't remember anything about this person, but I remember my feelings.
but no matter how many times I have changed, and no matter how many people have left my life, sooner or later a new person appears and told me: you are awesome, do not change.
but i will change :)
we all change, become more and more "ourselves", we will never remain that old version of ourselves which was liked by some forgotten person, but this doesn't mean that we are becoming worse. am i right?
no matter what we are, there is at least one person to whom we'd seem awesome. even if we never meet this person or know about it.

After what happened yesterday on FA I'm searching for a fallback, as you never know what else can happen and when. I saw this young and promising site, do you know it or maybe already use it? Or do you know any other alternatives for furries and furry artists? I'm not leaving FA, but don't deny the possibility of moving somewhere else one day, and as a (almost) SFW artist sometimes I'm feeling like a fish out of water here.

How do you guys deal with triggers which are causing bad flashbacks? And what to do when flashbacks coming from nowhere at the night and starts to put you in a horrible state?ย I thought I had some traumas, but I never experiences something like that before. Not sure, but seems like a true panic attack. Everything was fine until a few months ago, but I think the time did not heal me.
It's soon the anniversary of the worst event in my life when I was sure I was feeling how I'm dying slowly, spent 3 months in the hospital and always on hard treatment. Some of you might remember this period of my life, you can't imagine how much your support was helpful.
Long story short, every time I see photos or videos of someone in the hospital it's just horrible, not even talking about scenes with blood.ย Even just writing about it right now causes awful state.ย
I need help :(((

Posted 4 years agoTo avoid the burnout I need to take a break before it's too late, so I'm taking a week of vacation. I'll probably draw personal things or paint something and will try to accumulate
the max of energy and inspiration. We will go to Paris for one night and I hope to found some inspiration there!

Taking a short break from work
Posted 4 years agoBecause we're moving into a new home! ๐ฅณ(me, my bf and our cat) Our current situation was very stressful so we rent a studio and will go away from here. I'm absolutely sure the moving will made a good impact on my art.
I will be busy for about a week or so with cleaning, packaging and setting up in a new place. And we need to buy a huge amount of things as now we have almost nothing xD
Hope to be back to work at the end of the next week or from the mid-march, until now I will only add in my wait list which is here
If you want to support me with a coin via ko-fi I will be very grateful and will buy cutlery, curtains, kettle, food and much more different goods x3
