Well it's here, Nordic Fuzcon! I'm leaving today for the con and it'll be my first time abroad but I wonder if any of you peeps are gonna be there

Another Christmas is here and I decided to come visit my family back east for the holidays and it's going okay enough I guess

It's Halloween! And I don't have any holiday themed art, oh well, but this marks the start of my fifth month in Michigan actually. It's been interesting being away from my family like this and on my own, well mostly on my own honestly, I rent out a couple basement rooms but the guy who owns the house is pretty cool and doesn't give me any grief, but we don't see one another too often since I work a weird graveyard shift

So I went to Indianapolis Fur Con for the second year in a row, but this time was much easier to swing because I live in Michigan instead of doing a massive drive from Massachusetts, so that was fun but I had a great time at the con! Honestly better than the year before in my opinion for a few reasons.

So I had a lot of fun, I wound up at a few writing related panels which were actually really cool, for those of you who are around now you're likely unaware that I use to do creative writing which I kind of gave up on some years back which I honestly miss doing, I also got some pictures of some suiters and other con goers while I was there too but I'm not sure about posting them up since honestly I didn't really get most anyone's socials to credit the suiters and I'd feel weird about posting that stuff around.

On some other things that happened, well I did attend a panel on writing hosted by the writer  serathin who somehow I hadn't come across up to this point despite quite a bit of his material being very much my jam and I ended up purchasing a book at his table. Now does this mean I'm going to shift to being a really focused rubber TF writer or something, but you never know, fuck it, I want to make things and I want to make things I'd enjoy seeing out there, I can only hope some of you weird nerds enjoy the stuff I want to make.

Other than that, I can say I honestly had a better time this year than last year, mainly because I had this big and kind of harrowing 14 hour drive where I showed up way later than I wanted and it was kind of a mess, though I was rooming with a couple of very vore focused people and I do not want to hear, read or see that particular word for like a month x.x I kid mostly, but it was mentioned enough over the weekend that it kind of sounded more like nonsense than a word lol

So I'm going to the Indianapolis Fur Con which is next week, I've got time off already approved and I'm excited to go back! This'll be the second con I've gone to and I'm excited, anyone else going?

So something I've been planning for a while now has been to move out of Massachusetts and out somewhere else, and that's landed me out in Michigan, around grand rapids, so that's cool! Unfortunately it feels like I've come out at one of the worst times I could have, gas is insanely expensive right now and I don't start my new job until the 13th, and I'm having some trouble locking down a place to live, but hopefully things go good

I'm really wanting to get a suit, but most makers I see around look like they're not taking any commissions, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any makers who were open, at least for a quote

Well, it happened, I went to a furcon like I wanted to, and ended up going to Indianapolis FurCon this year and had a good time at it. The only real issue I had was that, well, I don't live in the Midwest, I live in Massachusetts, about 1000 miles away from the hotel where the con was being held. So unlike a sensible person, I decided to drive to the con and back. All told, round trip for the dive was 28 hours, 14 each way and I broke up the drive with about 5 hours on the first day and 9 on the second one. That was a terrible mistake and I missed out on some cool stuff on Saturday because I had to work on Friday until about 3,but that was overall a mistake. If I go again, I'm flying.

I really wish I had met more people and such at the con but I'm also very socially awkward, I didn't even have a badge at the con, so most people just saw an awkward looking dude in a white shirt with a con badge on

Well this week I've been out of work which has been really nice, I haven't had time off since last year around the 4th and I was really going crazy, but honestly it's been good, I feel recharged, I should use my vacation time, maybe I'll go to a furcon or something :3

God the heat this week is just awful, it's going to be around 90F until tomorrow and I just want to die, and next week I'm supposed to have off, but it's looking like I might not get the week off and if that happens I'm going to be fucking livid

Oh boy a nice new year, I'm ready for stuff to get better, I spent the night drinking at my friend's place so a nice sloshed new years to you all

Hey guys, Grey again. I know it's been a long and pretty rough year, but we've made it. I have had a lot of personal issues with family over the year, mostly fighting with my brother which has been absolutely awful. But at least I've been working during the pandemic at my job as a machinist/welder which has continued on. For the middle of the year we got our hours cut but we're back to full time which is good, though we're not shutting down for next week which sucks since I'd made some plans and such assuming the last week of the year I'd have off.

Buuut on a more positive look at the year, I've met and gotten to know some pretty cool people which has been pretty great honestly. People like https://www.furaffinity.net/user/gothkat21 and https://www.furaffinity.net/user/manticmimicbeast/ are a couple of awesome people I've been talking to a lot, and kinda started up a relation with Mantic which has been good to help keep me sane during this nuts year.

I just hope going forward stuff will be alright honestly, I'm not enjoying this holiday season but I wish you all a merry christmas

Sooo yeah, we all know what's going on, I know, there's lockdown going on, and here in the US we have riots and protests going on, but I'm not going to get into those, you can find plenty of people talking about it, I just kinda wanna toss out some stuff that's going on in my life I guess.

So well, I've been working and doing my own thing as best I can with the lockdown going on, still keeping my job which I'm happy with even if hours are cut down still going to work during the week has been good to help me not go stir crazy during this whole lockdown thing.

But now, it's pride month, and I kinda wanted to talk a bit about it this year, kinda wishing I did this before now, but I can't do much about that right now I guess. I was thinking this year of going to some events and such for this month, but nothing was likely going to happen with it due to the virus going on, which sucked, but it's been interesting seeing something happening for a little bit now which I wanted to talk about with what month it is, or maybe just bitch about? I'm not sure really.

Basically, I had a friend of mine who, a bit ago myself and my group of friends opted to stop hanging around with him for personal reasons I don't have the time to get into, and recently he's turned into a born again christian I guess. Well, we talked a little bit again, it's been about a year and a half, two years, and he looks like he's made some changes in his life, and some of the guys started talking with him again. He never said it to me, but I guess he was trying to get people to come to mass with him, and confessional, but whatever. So we talked some, seemed to be going okay, he was saying how finding Jesus has helped him with personal issues and shit, okay that's cool.

And then, I get a message from one of my friends, showing me his 'secret' twitter account where he's mostly posting about god and stuff, okay whatever, talking about how we should abolish the separation of church and state? Which is concerning, and my favorite, him saying that people need to resist the, let me use the term he's using, "Globohomo" during June and that pride is a sin. And all while talking all friendly like with me and wanting to get all buddy buddy again. So I talked with him in private, and he said stuff like how he 'loves the sinner, hates the sin' and stuff like that, and I kinda blew up at him for being what I felt like was being pretty twofaced with me, and he kept trying to argue that he wasn't being an asshole while he's putting stuff like that out there and he's known me for the better part of 10 years, and he's known I'm gay for a while now.

But I'm back on non speaking terms with him. What's the point of this story? Who knows, I'm frustrated I guess.

Hey everyone, hope it's been a good year for you all, but it's almost the end of the year here, and I think mine's been going well enough for me, relatively you know? I got a new job as a machinist, which has been really good, and I've been making strives to be more independent here, so that's always good.

I won't ramble much, but I really hope you all have a good Christmas week, I'll be around though if anyone wants to talk, just hit me up in the notes! I don't bite, too hard

Well it's Thanksgiving for us here in the USA, I've got the next couple of days off work which is nice, so I think it's time for Christmas shopping soon for my family, oh well, I hope everyone has a good day

So, it's been a while sin my last journal on here I guess. Well, I hope you're all having a wonderful Halloween this year, don't do anything stupid lovelies.

But, I kind of wanted to make a nice little update journal I guess, kind of, I don't know, I'd like to be more active on this account and in the furry community I guess, so time for some life updates I guess.

Well for a while I was actually unemployed honestly, I'd been working at a pretty crap job as a produce clerk for about two years, I was miserable and drinking a lot, showing up late every day, and just being kind of a train wreck. But despite all that I was working near 40 hours per week, just enough to be technically a part timer so I wouldn't get a raise or benefits or whatever, despite the fact we were short staffed and I'd been picking up the slack. After a full time position was on off however, I put in for it immediately, and then the position got pulled without anyone getting it. So, I quit, and I don't regret it in the slightest.

So I stumbled around for a couple months or so, but recently I've been working at a new job at a machine shop, and I've gotten more used to my position here which is nice and all. I actually work with a guy I went to high school with, and he's actually been pretty cool to work with honestly, so that's been really nice.

Other than that I've had some disposable income to afford art and stuff to interact more in the furry community which is really nice, and after three years of I finally sat down and worked on my profile a little bit. I really want to get down to writing some stories about and such, maybe I'll offer commissions in future after I get into the swing of things again, I haven't done as much writing as I'd like to.

Well this is a long rambling, thing I guess, but if you want to talk with the fluffy boy, my notes are always open :3

So it's April now, and that's great I guess, I've had a decent enough start of the year, how has your year been? I'm out looking for some more work here, new job and all, I'd like to move on to a better place, but it's not so bad.
