Damn you Read Only Mode!
General | Posted 14 years agoSome time early this morning FA ran out of storage space and the admins turned it to Read Only mode until they can install more storage space or transfer the existing data to a larger server. I'm sure 
knows more about what's going on than I do.
In the meantime perhaps I should move my existing artwork over to Inkbunny or DA as backup storage. What do you think? Which site do you prefere secondary to FA?

How did I spend my last hour?
General | Posted 14 years agoI put down the PS3 controller and went through my archived "PIMPING" Journals. I documented which were still open and which were closed. The only one I didn't update was the most recent one for 10/11-10/12. There are actually a lot more still open than I expected, feel free to dig through my old posts and jump on any you may have missed out on - it should be easy to tell which ones are still open and till when now.
I'm glad I went through it too, cause I found 3-4 winnings that I had not documented in my commissions page:

I try to keep good track so that I know what's coming in - that way I don't try to get the same thing twice and I don't bother the artists too much. Speaking as an artist, asking for updates is fine - just as long as there's time between. When people commission me I try to give them updates of my work as I go along so that I know I'm going the right direction and they know the project is progressing. Some artists keep everything secret till the reveal, so it's best to remind them every so often... I usually ask for an update very 2 weeks or so.

It could list if you liked, didn't like, would try or wouldn't try something like inflation or vore. I think there are a couple sites like this.

General | Posted 14 years agoI've been using my header to keep track of who I've commissioned for art and what contests I've won -- but I think it's gone overboard... I have more than 12 artists I'm waiting on so not all their icons are showing up.
What do you think? Should I move my current header into it's own Journal so I can put more icons and more information (like original commission date + Updates) or should I just stop commissioning and winning so many contests and let others have a shot? xD lol
