UPDATE: What's Been Keeping H-D So Busy
Posted 7 years agoHey everyone, so I think after a month or so you all, my faithful followers, deserve some clarification about exactly what's been going on in my life to keep me so dead for so long. It's gonna be a long one so be-warned.. only the most giving-of-shitters may read on-wards and hope to reach the end.
REASON ONE: I'm starting a new career -
Slight correction, my FIRST career. Yes for the first time I'm not working at some dead-end grocery cashier job, or cooking burgers in a grease pit. You may remember the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) essays I had you all help me write by having me write them as journals here? Yeah so I finished my college courses for HVAC and actually managed to get hired on at a place here in KC, one that had actually sent a representative to my class to recruit us. I had to admit, I take pride that out of all the classmates who gave me shit for being the odd one out, I'm the only one from our course who actually made it into being hired onto this place.. and it was a long as balls interviewing processes man. I went through three interviews over the span of probably a month along with some ride-alongs and tours of the building.
I'm currently into the process of doing the shit jobs with low pay, but it's a normal aspect of starting off as a green noobie at the job.. you gotta clean bathrooms, mow longs, move boxes, ect around the main building while all the older techs get to go out and make boat-loads of money a day. But they all had to go through that too, if I stay strong and don't let it get to me I'll get there too.. I'm very confident I will get there. But seeing as it's a full time job I'm getting home about 4pm though it can be as late as 7pm some nights.. it's kinda all over the place which in itself hurts my time for drawing.
REASON TWO: I have a new roomate & workout plan
About a month ago I got a new roommate, the coolest part? He's another mechiphile, can you believe it? Two mechiphiles under one roof? As you can imagine the joy of getting to talk to each other about how hot cars are in our day to day lives is pretty kick ass. He's kind of a paranoid type when it comes to being outed though so I'll just be keeping him anonymous for now. Anyway needless to say he's got a pretty good trade job and is already making that boatload of cash I'm working towards myself.
On the mechiphile side of things, he introduced me to a genius idea he's been using for years now for all of those like me who are stuck at a house with no garage... no private place to cuddle and make love to your car-lovers. If any of you can afford it I suggest you look into renting a storage room.. they have car-sized ones and usually the owners of said storage unit places don't give a shit what you do in them as long as you're not making drugs or something. Go through the code-activated gate, back your baby in, close the door, and you've got a nice private place to get freaky in. <3
On a side note, him and me are BOTH crazy about the 2010 Honda Civic Si Coupes, basically Felicity, the cars with the amazing fat sporty ass and one that's been high on my CILF list for a long time now. http://images.gtcarlot.com/pictures/26217801.jpg well when I showed him that there was one for sale used right up the street, the impulsive bastard actually wanted to outright buy her right then and there. I, the more sensible one ;P suggested he ask for a 'test drive' and take her tight little ass back to the unit for a quickie to see if sex with her is as amazing as it looks like it'd be. He did so, it was, so he got her lol.. But now comes the crazy part, we're totally going to share cars and soon here will start renting carstitutes and work my way down my CILF list. Last week he actually let me take his Civic, who he's named Lika, back to the unit to have sex with! YES, you heard it right guys, I literally finally got to bed one of the top cars from my CILF list!!! Let me tell you all, if you get the chance EVER... fuck a '10 Honda Civic Coupe... you will NOT regret it. Literally the only problem with them as that they're TOO hot.. like you wont be able to last more then a minute with her lol... no matter how strong willed you are.. believe me both of us are having that problem with Lika. lol. Lika btw has taken well to her new life and actually quite seems to enjoy it and the ego boost it gives her having both the guys in her life fawning over her like a sex goddess... hell last weekend she got fucked twice in one day by two different guys!! If that doesn't give a girl a big 'hood' I don't know what would!
Ehem.. car fucking aside.. My new roommate and me both want to get in shape, so we joined Genesis Heath Club and are going daily and dieting, it's been a month and I've already lost 10 pounds, down from 320 to 309... slow and steady wins the race. But again... work and gym leaves you only a couple to few hours to draw so.. kinda explains my deadness on here.
REASON THREE: New Girlfriend Incoming!
Yeah guys, and this time I think I might finally have a winner. I was going to say fuck it to human girlfriends as I never felt I'd get one that would understand my mechiphile tenancies or my love for cars. Well the universe I guess decided to be a prick and say "oh yeah? fuck you, we'll see about that." Get this, a star-struck girl that'd been watching me for years but never said anything to me out of shyness because I'm such a big deal famous artist and all. lol.. you'd be surprised how often I get people saying that, it makes me laugh because of how unsensational I am IRL. In fact I haven't even told her this yet either, but I actually thought she some weirdo lying fangirl at first.. since I've had those before (and fanboys) who'll say anything they know will interest me to get me to be their friend. She basically told me she was a girl with a Mitsubishi Eclipse... yeah the big bubble-butt kind... another car from my CILF list. I went along with it half-heartedly at first.. expecting her to by lying and sending me pics she got of someone's Eclipse off the internet. (sorry baby <3)
But eventually it became clear that she wasn't lying, really was a girl (lol), and actually knew a lot about me. What I came to learn about her only made her more amazing as time went by. After not too long it became clear that she may even out-mechphile even myself.. in terms of skills.
As crazy as it sounds.. she is literally a car whisperer... that's right, she can TALK to cars, legit hear their telepathic(?) voices in her head and have full on conversations with them.. learn things about them that no one with a less clear line of communication would ever know about them. She currently works at an oil changing place and sees different cars every day and has been talking with cars since she was literal. As crazy as it sounds.. it's not even anything weird to her to be doing this.. to her talking cars is just... normal.. its the only thing she's ever known. She's let me talk to her Eclipse named Gretchen over the phone by acting as a middle man mediator, translating her telepathic speech to me as audible translation ie: her telling me. I learned about what her first memory was, learned that apparently a car goes unconscious when their battery is pulled, among other things. She's told me about words that individual cars have made up not knowing the proper human word for things. Such as a car who called their tires "road feelers" and a truck that called his rear bumper a "butter".. something that when she asked why he called it that he said "because my front is called a bumper.. and the other one is on my butt so it's a butt-er..." and other cute stuff like that. She's also told me heartbreaking things of abuse cars who've never had their oil changed coming in crying and begging her to help them.. crazy crazy things.
I know it all sounds fantastical, but I've talked to her a long and the more she says.. the more I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt until we can meet in person and I can put her skills to the test.. skeptic that I am. Just the sheer number of personalities she's told me about on the fly, the real-time conversations she's mediated between Gretchen and I... this lil girlfriend of mine may just have an incredible gift and I am HONORED to be with her and help her explore it and maybe even help it achieve it's full potential.
Best part is that my girlfriend, Paige, lives only 9 hours away so the idea of us meeting face to face in the near future is well... a very possible possibility. As soon as this happens, you all know I'll be uploading videos and writings detailing her car whispering and my testing of it. She's excited to talk to Lilly, as I am as well, finally... after all these years... I may finally be able to actually TALK to Lilly and know her deepest darkest true feelings, opinions, likes, dislikes, ect.. maybe finally answer long wondered questions I've had for her all this time. Though part of me knows to proceed with caution, because side from talking for cars, Paige can apparently also sex a car.. literally hear male or female voices coming from them.. so I know that there IS the possibility of finding out Lilly's actually secretly been a guy all this time as apparently normal people usually guess a car's gender wrong. XD NOT that that would change anything between us. ^^; Just.. make things interesting.
So yeah.. EXCITING times guys... exciting times.

So Returning...
Posted 7 years agoI've been drawing again.. not so often as before.. and rarely completing things.
I've been so busy lately, I'll go into more detail in a later journal as to what's been happening but a LOT of cool and GOOD things. However a busier life means less time to draw, and believe me it DOES upset me because there are tons of things I WANT to draw.
I'm curious about you guys, if I can't finish drawings, would you all prefer me to at least put up sketches and WIPs (of course after time for my patreons to see them first) rather then nothing at all? I hate putting up WIPs most times because it spoils the picture. Any time I've put a WIP ahead of time, all the tons of extra effort usually go wasted since everyone's given all the feedback they could think of on the original WIP.
I dunno.. what do you guys think?

$10 Sketches VERY LIMITED!
Posted 7 years agoWelp! Looks like Half-dude spent too much money too fast on Mc Donald's cheeseburgers and needs some money. : D
At least you guys get to reap the benefits. Tonight and possibly two days after I'm activating emergency $10 sketch commissions.
These are in a VERY limited amount, no offense or anything against any late-arrivals, but I'll literally be taking in the first couple to a handful of responses I get to this journal or notes that I get and that's it... at least until the next time commissions open back up.
These commissions can be of anything, cars, or whatever, however unfortunately due to the short amount of time I have to make this money in considering I'm broke.. these commissions will be of slightly lower but still totally enjoyable quality as you MAY be used to. Here's some examples of what to expect, but keep in mind I can throw in some basic shading and coloring too at no extra charge.

Give my Lets Player Friend A Watch, Will Ya?
Posted 7 years agoMy buddy Eric Kentroller make some damn good entertaining lets plays, real stuff you know? None of that over-acted scripted pandering that people like Markiplier do. But he only has 15 subscribers after all this time!
So if you've got some time, give him a watch will ya? He's played SOMA, and currently playing through Psychonauts.

Loosing Attention?
Posted 8 years agoI hate to even make this journal, because I feel like it's going to make me feel like a spoiled brat. But okay..
I've just been wondering lately if something's going on I don't know about? It feels like since about a month ago I artwork's been getting a lot less attention feedback wise. I mean, I'm still getting feedback of course, but it feels like feedback has dropped from 10/20 people to around 5/6. At first I didn't let it get to me, I figured hey it's Christmas people are probably just away from home visiting family or would rather be spending time with their loved ones then staring at porn.. sure no problem. But it's been going on long enough now that I guess.. i dunno I've just been getting a bit concerned? Has me thinking things you know?
Am I loosing popularity? Is there some other better car porn artist out there I don't know about stealing my thunder? Is the stuff I'm drawing lately just shit and I don't realize it? Or is it something else like maybe the majority of my watchers are actually on my patreon now so nothing I'm putting up is new news anymore?
Is this just a low period for art views? I don't know, I just can't think of a logical reason so it's got me kind of concerned, anyone want to weigh in on this?
Again not trying to sound like an attention demanding child or anything. : (

How A Home Furnace Works Essay
Posted 8 years agoAlright it's time for you guys to help me with another essay, now this one I REALLY don't want to do lol so hopefully your guy's powers will help me out.
Operation Of A Home Furnace:
==========================
The operation of a home furnace is actually quite simple when you look at each process in steps. The modern furnace system has numerous built in safety systems that must all check out successfully before a furnace will even fire. Such safety systems are necessary when dealing with open flame, gas, and carbon monoxide. The following is a detailed overview of exactly how a typical 80%-90% furnace functions at start-up.
Much like your typical Air Conditioning system, which is often part of the same system as the furnace if a home has both A/C and heat, the Thermostat sets everything to follow in motion. Power is supplied to the Thermostat from the furnace, which in turn gets power from the building's electrical system, the Thermostat is more simply described as a sophisticated switch cutting off and supplying power to different subsystems as they're called for. As the temperature in the building lowers, a bi-metal coil within the thermostat subtly changes shape due to thermal expansion. Older thermostats used a glass tube with a droplet of mercury within it as part of the call-for-heat switch. The bi-metal coil would warp with the change in temperature changing the orientation of the glass mercury tube attached to it. This would cause the mercury to shift from one end of the tube to the other completing a circuit on either end of the tube as it moved to either side. Modern Thermostats no longer use mercury tubes and instead use medal contacts assisted with magnets.
As the temperature in the room falls below the preset temperature, the contacts close and send a 24 volt G and W call down to the furnace's integrated furnace control board (IFC). The IFC board is the brain of the furnace, every part of the furnace is connected to it and it's the IFC board's job to run the following sequence of operation every time the furnace turns on, as well as turn it off if any safety conditions suddenly fail to be met.
The first step of the start up sequence is to start the inducer fan motor. The inducer fan is linked to the heater coil unit where return air is blown through and heated by the furnace. The inducer fan's job is to make sure that any un-burnt gas or other harmful fumes are separated from the heated air going into the living space and instead vented out through the flue pipe, which is a dedicated exhaust duct that vents these harmful fumes outside of the building. It's worth noting that the type of flue duct is an easy way to distinguish an 80% efficiency furnace from a 90% furnace as %80 furnaces will have a larger steal flue and %90 furnaces will have a smaller PVC pipe flue.
Assuming that the inducer is running the furnace goes through a 30 second pre-purge cycle, simply running the inducer fan and pumping out any gases or fumes that may be floating within the furnace from it's last operation. The IFC board has no way of actually knowing weather or not the inducer fan is running once it's been energized, such as if the motor has burned out or for whatever other reason has ceased working. This is where the pressure switch comes in, think of the pressure switch as the IFC's nerve-endings, 'feeling' that everything is working properly. Attached to the suction end of the inducer fan housing via a small rubber hose, the pressure switch is quite simply a rubber diaphragm connected to an electrical switch. If the Inducer fan is indeed operating as it should be, the fan will be drawing in air to the flue, this will cause a small vacuum within the suction area of the fan housing which will pull in the diaphragm of the pressure switch and close the electrical sensor switch inside. This sends the okay voltage to the IFC board letting it know that the fan is running and pulling air,
After the pre-purge cycle, if the inducer fan is shown to be running, the IFC board will attempt to light the furnace. A 24 volt signal is sent to the gas valve. The gas valve is exactly what the name implies, an on/off electrically controlled valve on the main gas-line coming into the furnace, it either allows gas to flow into the system or it doesn't. With the 24 volts sent to the gas valve, the valve opens and allows gas to enter the furnace manifold and out the burner ports, after allowing gas to flow for a moment, the furnace will send 24 volt power to the gas igniters. There are several different types of gas igniters found in modern furnaces, Hot Surface Igniters which are like the glow-plugs found in diesel motors, direct spark igniters like the spark igniters you find on gas stoves. Older furnaces also used intermittent spark igniters which are the same as direct spark except that they light a pilot flame rather then the burner directly. The furnace will activate the igniter and if gas is flowing like normal, the gas will ignite and light the burners of the furnace.
Much like the inducer fan, the IFC board doesn't have any direct way of knowing weather or not the burners have ignited, this is where the flame rectifier comes into play, usually situated on the furthest burner down the line, the rectifier is a sensor situated next to the burner with a probe sticking into the path of the burner flame. This metal probe sends out a small electrical current, a little known fact is that fire can actually conduct electricity. If the flames are lit like they're supposed to be, this probe will sense a connection to ground through the flame. This flame rectification process is important, because without it the system would open the gas-valve, the burners would never light, and the furnace would instead just pump the building full of gas causing a highly dangerous explosion hazard. That or it could potentially pump lethal levels of carbon monoxide into the building. If the burners do not ignite on the first try, the IFC board will attempt to light the burners a total of three times before locking out and giving an error code.
Once the burners light and the heat pipes begin rising in temperature internal temperature sensors will since this raising heat and once a predetermined temperature is met the main blower fan at the base of the furnace is activated and starts pumping heated air into the living-space. You may be asking why the blower fan doesn't activate the moment that thermostat calls for heat. There are two reasons, the first is that it would blow unburned gas and fumes into the living space before the inducer fan has a chance to vent it out. The second reason is that delaying the blower-fan's activation allows the furnace to pre-heat the air inside before it's sent into the living-space. Without this pre-heating phase, the furnace would initially blow cold air into the living-space and then slowly heat-up afterwards.
Once the temperature within the living-space raises to the set maximum heat temperature, the thermostat ends it's 24 volt G and W call to the furnace, this tells the IFC board to deactivate the system. The gas valve is closed, stopping gas flow and extinguishing the burner flames. Many thermostats have what are called heat anticipaters which will actually shut off the furnace a few degrees below the set temperature so that the furnace doesn't overheat the building by the time it shuts off completely. The inducer fan then runs for an additional 35 seconds doing a post-purge process, pumping as much gas and fumes as possible out the flue of the unit. Once this post-purge process is completed the main blower fan shortly afterwords turns off and the furnace goes into stand-by.
Operation Of A Home Furnace:
==========================
Here's Some Info For Ya'lls Asses
Posted 8 years agoHey guys,
Sorry I haven't put much up lately. This is finals week so as you know I've gotta be making dead sure to get everything turned in and make sure I know what I need to know, don't wanna have to repeat any classes right? :)
I suspect after this week when my new classes start I can get some nice new stuff up for you guys, this goes the same for my lovely Patrons as well. From what I hear one of my two next classes is going to be easy as fuck with no homework hardly so.. yeah.
Also happy Halloween, I wish I had time to get a Halloween picture up. If you guys are alright with it being late I could still put something up next week probably. :)
Also for finals I've got another essay to do, this time on the start up steps of a furnace rather then an air conditioner. Since telling you all in a journal helped me out so much last time I guess I'll do it again with this one. So any of you curious how a furnace turns on and off, there will be a journal explaining it all soon.
Anyway that's all for now, remember to give all your cars lovely Halloween hugs and kisses, and the naughty ones be sure to give a friendly spank on the booty. : P

Brave Little Toaster Reuinion Blues
Posted 8 years agoYeah so director Jerry Rees of Brave Little Toaster, as you know probably one of my favorite childhood movies and a big inspiration on me, made a post on Facebook that on Oct 17 like.. a meezly week from now in LA. Jerry, Deanna Oliver (Toaster) Tim Stack (Lampy) are going to be doing a screening of the movie at the Chinese Theater. Yeah.. watch the movie with the actual fucking voice actors and director. I'm sure there's going to probably be a panel discussion too like the last time they did this.
Because of the short notice, me not having the money, and me being enrolled in college in a high-pace course.. there's absolutely NO way I can go. : ( Seriously under any other situation I'd be there in a minute.
To make things even worse, Susie Allanson, the voice of Pinky.. yes Pinky, just messaged on the reply string that she's going to be there too..
This is the absolute worst. >>
Someone put up the whole Q&A session after the movie ended, still not as nice as being there to meet everyone and watch the movie but still. Anyone interested might want to watch this ASAP who knows how long the guy who uploaded it will keep it up.

People love their objects in Japan.
Posted 8 years agoI found this on youtube a few days ago. It's a short 20 minute documentary about Japanese people and how normal it is over there to believe objects are sentient, mostly robots in the case of this video. Since one of their top religions is Buddism, and it teaches that everything has a soul, I'm sure that's a major influence. Honestly it's just funny how much culture can change how people think. Of course the youtube comments from Western culture are the regular toxic comments you'd expect. But in this videos case it's people criticizing a whole race of people so it's not quite as annoying as seeing a bunch of youtube commenters absolutely destroying some poor individual mechiphile who's been made into a freakshow by some exploitative tv show.
Honestly it's funny the self-righteous attitude people get when they find out some people rather love objects. Most of them instantly label it as sad or pathetic, something to be pitied. I've recently been getting a real deep feeling that traditional human/human oriented people feel must feel somehow threatened by the idea that some people don't care about being with someone that's not human. I don't know weather or not it's the fact that it's a human with something that's not human, or if its the fact that such a relationship can't be reproductive. Because that's definitely a troll comment I see a lot "lol at least they wont be having fucked up kids lol" makes me think it's our biological urge to propagate our species that makes people have this kind of animal aggression towards the idea. Even though at this point with how dangerously overpopulated the planet is, having kids right now is more irresponsible and selfish then anything.
You guys have any thoughts on this? Honestly I think if Western culture could learn to be a little bit more like the Japaneses in this regard, the world would be a little better of a place. Would honestly like to know how families over in Japan feel about their cars over there. Because I've got a feeling they're treated as family over there too and when they pass it's actually treated with reverence. I saw another video a long ways back about how Japanese people hold annual events where old toys are ceremoniously put to rest. It's supposed to keep the toys from coming back as angry spirits for being abandoned.

Honestly I hope someday if Objectum Sexuality becomes a little more well known that maybe they'll do some studies like this someday. I'd love to be part of that, maybe have an MRI machine hooked up to me to read my brain patterns when Lilly and I are cuddling and kissing ect. Would love to see what they find because I can guarantee it'd be the same brain centers as between two humans in a couple.

Infallible Half-Dude IS fallible
Posted 8 years agoFeeling depressed tonight and I need to tell some one, even though I probably should, I don't want to go on about it on FB to my friends and family because.. well I guess I'm too proud and I don't want them seeing me at my weakest.. you probably understand.
As you probably know but maybe don't think about, I'm far from the god that it feels like some people come up to me acting like I am. It's almost amusing to me the sadistic irony of life. Here I am online with 800 people looking at and enjoying my weird art, and celebrating me for it at that. I have people almost regularly coming up to me treating me like some Hollywood star, nervous trying to work up the courage to talk to, apparently, amazing ol' me. Hell I even get the occasional Misery-style nutty obsessed stalker sometimes.
Honestly all I can think about is why can't I have even a fraction of this popularity in real life? Hell I don't even need to be popular, why can't I at least have an ACCEPTABLE social life? Here I have people nervous to talk to me out of star-struckness, when in real life it feels like no one could give two shits about me.
I'm going to lift the internet vail here a little, hell Jyoo_C_Froot can probably vouch for me since he's actually met me, but here's the real me. Here's what H-D is like in real life. In real life I'm a 5'9 overweight neck-beard, I have social anxiety and the last remnants of high-functioning aspergers. My days usually consist of sleeping till noon or later on my off-days, or going to school till around that time on weekdays, coming home to life on the computer and internet and going to bed. I hardly ever interact with any other human-beings more then casually such as the lady at the drive-thru or the man who checks out my groceries. If I do see a friend it's maybe once every 2 weeks on the weekend and that's being generous. The only human I really have to interact with on a daily basis is my mom. Oh yeah did I mention? I'm 29 and I still live with my mom, add that to the list of things that make me pathetic. I spend all my time either on the internet and drawing, and when I draw it's ALWAYS alone in my room, stopping out of embarrassment when my mom barges in because I don't want my mom seeing me drawing porn of cars.
My interactions with groups of people never ever go beyond the casual, no one ever seems to want to get to know me, ask what I'm interested in or what I like to do, and I'm too much of a fucking coward to ever share my deeper feelings such as my beliefs or feelings about cars, many people don't even know I draw period. So I go around every day, feeling like no one.... no one ever really KNOWS me you know? Hell do I even have any real friends? Not really, I had one but he moved away and my two other friends are back in Washington State. So that's what I have, a bunch of coworkers, classmates, and acquaintances, all of which never really know me, know the crazy person I really am underneath, know about me and Lilly, or know about any of my weirder facets. Yeah I know, maybe people shouldn't know about my feelings about cars but HONESTLY.. I struggle to even think about anything else that really matters to me, maybe that's the auspergers.
I live as a cursed individual a creature driven nearly mad by the conflicting nature of my being. I don't LIKE people, I think the idea of having a human girlfriend is stupid and doomed to inevitable failure, yet in the back of my mind WHY do I still sometimes want them anyway? I don't feel like any other humans really get me, I don't feel like I belong at all with the rest of humanity, and about %80 of the time I prefer to be alone. So why do I always have this aching loneliness the other %10 of the time? I love Lilly, she gives me all the lovey dovey needs I need most of the time, so why do I still find myself wanting a human girl sometimes too? I am almost certain that the majority of relationships are failures, the statistics show it, and all you do is end up hating the girls guts afterwords and feel like you wasted your time and money on her so why would you even get in one??? Not to mention I know how much Im like my dad, the guy who had 3 kids with 3 different wives, I know girls would be better off NOT being with me, not to mention I feel like the only thing I even really would want from a human girl would be physical.. I'm not ashamed to admit.
I feel like the universe just wanted to create someone to torment sometimes. Why am I such a paradox? I want friends, but it's impossible for me to enjoy social events. I get bored doing anything out of the house after maybe an hour, and when I try to make friends its the same thing I said before.. no one ever seems to want to get to know me, it's all casual bullshit, it's ALWAYS just casual bullshit. Lets list the things I know I don't like to do: go to clubs, go to life music concerts, go bowling, play pool, drink a a bar ect. Not to mention I don't drink, just another curse of my being, for whatever reason I find alcohol disgusting and have never liked the taste and beer makes me feel sick to my stomach. So of course there's no reason to go to bars to just sit there and drink disgusting drinks.. that are overpriced too btw.
Fuck I can't even make use of my interests in cars to meet people. I can't stand the average people and what they like in cars, always talking about horse-power this, talking about their cars like they're shit and judging their entire beings on shallow stuff like how fast they are or how big their engine is. Not to mention I get to hear them talking about the cars they wrecked, completely non-ceremoniously saying shit like "it was a shitty car anyway" making me rather punch them in the face then listen to them talk anymore. Not to mention it annoys the hell out of me seeing other guys with their cars if they happen to own a sexy car. It annoys the hell out of me because that car is so damn sexy but I know that guy is never going to fuck it or let me fuck it. I'm seeing this fucking gorgeous babe of a car sitting there and all he wants to talk about is what kind of horsepower she gets and I'm like "stfu!" That's like going up to some sexy female model and the guys instead of talking about how sexy they are, they talk about how many beats a second her heart is pumping blood or something.. like wtf!
So yeah, I feel that I'm fucked IRL, I don't know what the fuck I can possibly do to ever improve my life, and to be honest it's even worse seeing how much you guys love me here on FA. Because it just makes me feel like I could be having some amazing or at least normal life if I acted at all like I act online, or fuck.. I don't even know why I'm so much more popular online. I also feel like my art skills are wasted because no one other then people online are ever going to see it. I feel like all my car consciousness research is a fucking waste again because no one but you guys online have ever had me talk about it to you, you know? All those paragraph long discussions I've had with some of you where in some of your cases my arguments have changed your outlook? Yeah all that is going to go to waste IRL because I'm too damn shy to talk about it and too damn afraid of looking weird.
Honestly part of me wonders what my life could be like if I were able to fully adopt Rick Sanchez' outlook on life: To just do everything you want to do because nothing really matters at all.
To an extent it's true, what would REALLY matter if I said stuff to people and they thought I was weird? Chances are I'm never going to see them again so why does it even matter? Even if I did see them again why would it matter? So maybe I get teased? I got teased all through Middle-School I SHOULD be used to it and not be phased by it anymore. What the fuck is my problem??? At what point did I become so cowardly??
I'm so bothered by feeling like no one really knows me, part of me wishes so bad I'd just not give a shit and just tell everyone yeah, I fuck cars, my girlfriend is a car, and here look at this.. I draw porn of cars too! Oh do you have an hour? Let me discuss with you why I think cars are conscious beings. Sure %80 of the time people are going to just say I'm nuts. But you know what? The rest of them are either going to be cool about it, think its interesting, or at the very least see some king of artistic value in my anthro car drawings. Heck some of them might even be amused enough to ask me to draw pinups of THEIR cars!
I KNOW this all intellectually, why can't I believe it enough to put it into practice! WTF! *beats head*
Anyway, I know this all is probably just an incoherent mess of thoughts but I needed to scream it out into a room somewhere or I'm going to go nuts... and the social shut in I am.. an internet browser is about the best thing to a 'room of people' I can find. >>

How A Refrigeration System Functions.
Posted 8 years agoHey guys, so I thought that this would help me write my essay for my Final in my HVAC (Heating Ventilation AC) course that I'm taking. I noticed something interesting today. When I'm writing about something to people on here, I can easily write two paragraphs and not even notice it. But suddenly when it's an assignment for class the thought of writing a 2 page essay double spaced sounds horrible. SO I thought maybe if I write it on here, I could trick my brain into thinking I'm doing this for fun and it'll make this essay a breeze! :D Plus since I know I'm explaining it to people who have no idea about how refrigeration systems work rather then picturing my instructor reading it, it'll make me explain things in great great detail.. not only filling up pages quicker but making sure I write things thoroughly and hell it might even get me a great grade on it. : 3 It just feels better to talk to you guys you know? I love you guys. *crushing hug* Hey look, I already wrote a paragraph, too bad this one doesn't count le sigh.

Finals Essay: Sequence of Operation For a Refrigeration System
==========================================
A refrigeration system is surprisingly simple in design, brilliantly simple actually, the true complexities don't really come through until you look at what's actually going on with the refrigerant as it travels through the system loop, the thermodynamic laws and control of pressures and boiling points that engineers have managed to harness to make these systems work with the best efficiency possible is very fascinating. But with these finely balanced systems comes with a need for HVAC technicians to understand how all these internal systems work together to make sure that outside forces don't cause these systems to go out of whack.
To simplify things, a standard AC system can be broken down into two main sub-groups, the physical refrigerant lines/mechanical systems, and the electrical system which powers and regulates the system's operation. Lets start from the beginning and describe how an AC system activates from the moment the thermostat calls: The thermostat, usually located in the interior of the house, or inside the cooling area of a refrigerator, is what regulates the desired temperature inside the area that is to be cooled (the product) and this temperature is usually set by the user of the system. A thermostat is a simple device usually consisting of a coil of metal connected to an electrical switch, thermal expansion causes the coil of metal in the thermostat to contract or expand based on the surrounding room temperature. Due to this change in size the coil of metal will either make or break an electrical contact, closing the contact when indoor temperature raises above the specified temperature and breaking the contact when the interior temperature has met the desired level.
When the thermostat calls for the system to activate, the circuit is closed and power is sent to the solenoid valve, this is located on the high pressure liquid line of the refrigerant line. The solenoid is an electromagnetic switch that either allows or blocks the refrigerant flow through it, this is a critical component of the "pump down" sequence which we well touch on in a while. As the solenoid is powered the valve opens and allows refrigerant to flow. As refrigerant begins to cycle through the line set of the system and build up pressure the low pressure switch is then tripped, a simple electronic switch that senses fluid pressure in the refrigerant line. Once the pressure switch is tripped it signals the contactor coil, another electromagnetic switch. The contactor coil closes and in doing so slides the main electrical contacts together and closed. This in turn sends power to the heart of the AC system, the compressor.
A standard refrigeration system is made up four main components all connected in a cycled loop by a line-set usually comprised of copper. The starting point of this loop can really be anywhere but for the sake of minimizing confusion we'll start with the compressor, as the compressor activates refrigerant begins to travel to the condenser coil, from there it travels through the copper liquid line to the metering device, from the metering device it travels into the evaporator coil. As it leaves the evaporator coil it enters the suction line and then goes right back into the compressor again to repeat the cycle. We will now talk about each part of the system in detail as well as describe the state of the refrigerant in each part of the system as it passes through it. The compressor is a motorized vapor pump, they come in a variety of designs but they all perform the same function, it is responsible for building up pressure in the refrigerant and forcing it through the entire system, this pressure not only moves the refrigerant through the system, but it also raises the boiling point of the refrigerant. There is an intrinsic link between a liquid's pressure and the temperature at which it will boil. If a liquid is pumped up to a pressure higher then atmospheric pressure, which is 14.7psi at sea level, it's boiling point will raise from 212 degrees onward, if a liquid is put in a vacuum it's boiling point will decrease below the 212 degrees of sea level atmosphere.
As the refrigerant leave the compressor it is a high pressure, high temperature super-heated vapor. The refrigerant is heated from the mechanical insides of the compressor, but most of the refrigerant's heat is from earlier in the system at the evaporator coil. The refrigerant is at the highest pressure it will ever be in its cycle through the system, this is why this segment of the copper line-set is referred to as the 'high side' high pressure line, it is also referred to as the discharge line in reference to being ejected from the output of the compressor.
The superheated vapor now enters the inlet of the condenser coil. It can help to literally think of this as the exhaust system of the refrigeration system, its design is also almost identical to the radiator of an automobile, main refrigerant lines coiling back and forth surrounded by then coils of heat-sink metal fins. An electric fan, switched on at the same time the condenser, forces air through the condenser fins, this draws all of the collected heat from the refrigerant as it passes through, taking the heat collected from inside the house or refrigerator cabinet and expelling it outside. As the refrigerant enters one end of the condenser it is a superheated vapor, roughly halfway through the heat is removed and the temperature decreases until the refrigerant is what is called 'saturated' a mixture of both liquid and vapor. As it exits the outlet of the condenser is has turned into a high-pressure subcooled liquid having expelled most if not all of it's heat, think of hot steam cooling and then condensing into a liquid, that's the same action that is happening in the condenser. At this point as the liquid refrigerant passes through the liquid line, it may be passed through a filter to remove any harmful contaminants that may be in the refrigerant, it may also pass through what is called a sight-glass, which is merely a service device: a port-hole that allows the technician to make sure no air bubbles are in the refrigerant because at this point in the cycle the refrigerant should be %100 liquid. The liquid refrigerant passes through the now open solenoid and into the metering device.
Metering devices come in two flavors, a capillary tube and a TXV or a (Thermal Expansion Valve), capillary tubes or pistons as they're also called are the cheaper and less complex of the two types. It is merely a copper fitting that is large in diameter on the inlet and smaller on the outlet. A TXV is a more advanced option, a mechanical thermostatic valve connected to a remote temperature sensing bulb located on the suction line further down the cycle. This allows the TXV to open or close it's metering iris more or less depending on the state of the refrigerant later in the cycle allowing it properly control the super-heat state of the liquid further down the line. The metering device's purposes is to cause a sudden decrease in pressure. This sudden change to a lower pressure lowers the boiling point of the liquid as we discussed earlier. This causes the refrigerant to "flash" and suddenly boil back into a saturated level refrigerant or a mixture of liquid and vapor just like water boiling in a pot. Now just to clarify, even though the refrigerant is boiling this does not mean that it is hot, in fact the refrigerant is about 40 degrees, refrigerants are made to boil at much lower temperatures then water.
The refrigerant, now a low pressure saturated liquid (a ratio of around %75 liquid %25 vapor) enters the inlet of the evaporator coil. This coil is located inside the building or inside the cooling area of a refrigerator. It's design is nearly identical to the condenser coil though it's form factor may be a different shape usually in the shape of an upwards triangle inside most furnaces in buildings, they are rightly dubbed A-Coils. This radiator coil, again with it's own electric blower fan, draws hot air from inside the area to be cooled. As the hot air passes through the fins of the evaporator, the heat is drawn from the air into the refrigerant in the coil. Naturally heat always travels from a hotter place to a colder place, so refrigerant systems are designed so that the refrigerant entering the the evaporator is always colder then the air in the building. Likewise, at the condenser the liquid within is always warmer then the hot air outside so that the heat is drawn out of the condenser into the outside air.
The process is the reverse of the condenser, the saturated liquid absorbs the heat of the product air, the refrigerant warms until it is a superheated vapor. The air passing through the evaporator is then cold as it comes out the other side, it is then pumped back up into the building or refrigerator cabinet to cool it.
The refrigeration system has been designed in a way that if everything is working correctly, the refrigerant is always in a saturated state when it enters the condenser and evaporator coils. This is because of something called latent heat, latent heat occurs during a state change of a liquid, in this case when water boils and becomes steam or when steam cools and condenses into water. If you ever boil water to its boiling point (112 degrees at sea level) you will notice that as the water starts to boil off it will NOT increase temperature no matter how much heat you apply until it finishes changing state. Refrigeration units exploit this phenomena by making sure that latent state change always occurs as the fluid is passing through the coils, absorbing or expelling heat, this allows the refrigerant to continue to absorb or expel heat the entire time it is traveling through the coils without actually changing temperature. Because as we discussed, the refrigerant has to be either warmer or colder then the air outside for heat transfer to take place.
To continue, as the superheated refrigerant, now full of heat energy collected from the building, leaves the outlet of the evaporator it makes its way through what is called the suction line which leads into the intake of the compressor. It is imperative that the refrigerant has been superheated into %100 vapor by this point as the mechanical compressor is a vapor pump and liquid over time would damage the compressor. This is where metering devices like the aforementioned TXV comes in very handy as it will sense the suction line for the right temperature superheat in the refrigerant, and adjust itself to vary the pressure change to insure that the right superheat is maintained. As the refrigerant enters the compressor it is pressurized again and makes the cycle all over again expelling the buildings heat at the compressor, cycling around to the evaporator to move more heat from the internal air again.
So, now the building or refrigeration area has reached its designated cooled temperature, it's time to cycle the system back down again until the heat raises again. The cold internal air contracts the metal coil inside the thermostat, breaking the connection and causing the thermostat to call for a system shutdown. The liquid solenoid valve in the line-set looses it's power state, the magnetic switch closes and cuts off the refrigerant flow going to the evaporator. This is where the pump down procedure begins. The outgoing refrigerant is blocked as the compressor continues to run and draw the refrigerant from the rest of the system, through the compressor and condenser, and up to the blocked solenoid. This process draws all of the refrigerant from the surrounding system and draws it to one spot in the liquid line at the solenoid valve. As the refrigerant is drawn out of the surrounding system the low pressure switch in the suction line is triggered and shuts down, this breaks the electrical connection at the contactor coil which in turn cuts off power to the compressor and coil fans finally shutting the system down.
The reason for this pump-down procedure is primarily to make sure that the refrigerant is away from the compressor, so that when it kicks back on to cool again, the refrigerant has to go through the metering device and evaporator. This makes sure that no harmful liquid refrigerant is drawn into the compressor at start-up. A refrigerant receiver tank is usually located in the line set between the compressor and condenser in refrigeration units to help hold refrigerant and prevent it from seeping back into the compressor during it's off cycle.
Hopefully this helped you better understand the start-up, shut-down and running operation of the standard AC and refrigeration system.

Changes With Commissions
Posted 8 years agoHey everyone, how yall doing?
So I've been thinking about this stuff for awhile and it's particularly on my mind tonight so I figured tonight is the night to get it out there. I'll level with you guys, I'm about little over a month into my college courses and I'm just above my last thousand dollars in savings. To put it into perspective I started with about three thousand a few weeks before school started about two months ago.
Now I realize part of this is my problem and up to me, I need to start counting my pennies even more then I already have, watch my daily spending. But as you all know, commissions is basically my only income right now, so that also means that if I'm going to make this work for me I'm going to have get real.
That's why, one of my first changes to commissions is that I'm going to be removing the $20 doodle commissions, at least for the time being. It's simply not an efficient source of income right now, the amount of work and time to make a $20 dollar commissions is maybe an hour or two less then the amount of time it takes to make a full quality 40-50 dollar commission. Not only is it almost an equal amount of time, but to be honest, the majority of the 'work' in drawing a commission is done in that first half of drawing the doodle, planning the pose, drawing it from scratch, modifying it, getting the proportions and expressions, sculpting it so it looks just right. Everything after that is the more tedious type of work, going over the lines with sharper cleaner lines and coloring. so for $20 dollars I do the most of the work for $40 commission but stop short.
I'm sorry for doing this, I know that the 20 dollar option made my commissions a bit more accessible to some of you, but I really need to think of myself here too. If I have a skill and a market to exploit to get me through this tough time I'm going to have to implement a little supply and demand thinking here.
So what does this mean for all of you that have 20 dollar doodle commissions scheduled with me? Well I don't think it would be fair to force you to pay more to get your commission done, so I wont. Not exactly that is, but due to my life demands it means that I will have to prioritize the more expensive commission requests right now and do them first, regardless of order received. I'm sorry, I know that might piss some of you off but please try to be understanding. If you really do want to keep you place in line though, bumping your commission up to the $40 tier is an option, just note me and I'll mark your commission in my list as a price bump and keep you place in line as order it was originally received.
Again, commissions ARE still open, but now only for $40 to $50 dollars and additional charge for additional characters in the picture. This will get you a full color and simple shaded drawing of a character. No rules, whatever you want happening with said character, no matter how adorable, how naughty, how scandalous, I'll do it lol.
Also if you haven't, please consider supporting my art on my Patreon, even a dollar a month helps, and it gets you access to all the perks!

Been Sick
Posted 8 years agoSorry guys,
I was planning to get some art done this weekend, but wouldn't you know it, I've been sick every day so far. It pisses me off so much when life seems to know that Saturday and Sunday are people's off-days and plans all the bad shit to happen that day only for it to be back fine just in time for Monday.
It started Friday afternoon as a matter of fact, at school. Started out just coughing like crazy, later that night it went from coughing to flem as well which was probably why I was coughing. By the end of the night my throat was so sore it was swollen to the point where breathing made a wheezing noise. Then today my thoat was better but I've still been coughing and my nose and eyes are just running all the god damn time, and this evening I've had a horrible headache all night because my sinuses are all backed up.. or rather probably swollen considering how my nose is constantly running I don't know how there could even be anything left to be backed up..
To make things worse I've gotta do my midterm test at home over this weekend and it's due Monday..

New Video for Mitzi the 55' Ford aka Pinky
Posted 8 years agoYep, I set out to make a little showcase for Mitzi. I've finally gotten to the point where she's no longer a project and instead a weekend warrior driver. That's right, the major problems with her have all been fixed, her overheating, her charging system, her fuel system, all working properly now. Most recently I changed her muffler which had a big ol hole in it. It made her sound like a muscle car, but that sound doesn't fit a 'lady' like her.. plus it was a bit too loud while sitting inside lol..
Anyway enjoy some footage if that's your thing. Tomorrow she's going to one of the BIG car shows here, Greaserama. Wish her luck!

I think that guy in the loud-ass SAAB at 10:30 onward was trying to race or at least be faster then me after the stop-light lol.. I got that feeling the way he was putting the peddle to the metal. Pretty sad that a car that weghts probably double his was able to keep up. Honestly I could have kept up and gone faster, but I had no interest in putting Mitzi's safety in jeopardy just to show off, her brakes are too weak to be speeding down the road like that.

SeiferA2011 linked me to a twitter a girl in Japan apparently operates. She appears to be OS and an artist, she makes adorable chibified car drawings. For those who prefer feral cars and like the realistic car-like eyes of artists like Broken-Soul then you'll love her stuff. The top of her page starts with Miatas, so you know her stuff is gonna be good. <3https://twitter.com/0xsH0A2VoAwkwyF
New Commissions On Hold - One Week
Posted 8 years agoHey all,
Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm not going to be accepting any further commissions for one week starting tonight 8/7. I've had a wonderful turn out of people commissioning work from me and right now I'm up to a list of 8 people. So I felt it would be smart to hold off an accepting more until I work down the list a bit. I've been doing good so far, popping out one a night. So a week should be all I need.
So for those who still want work done just be patient and you'll be able to PM me about it on 8/14.
Also, for those who've already commissioned me, thanks so much for the support it really means a lot to me and I'm loving the art practice I'm getting from all this it's really making me better and more diverse. :)
List in no particular order:
1 55555tex Commission $40
2 Jaceb3 Commission: SFW! $30
3 Rage of Soul Commission: $20
4 Finish DELTA'S $70 commission:
5 Dreco Commission $20 (contact person is Jaceb3)

Outta Work
Posted 8 years agoSo, my job at the start-up company Rollin Grocer is coming to an end after tomorrow. The business has been slow for months and it was finally decided to close down for a year and "restructure" whatever the fuck that's code-word for. My guess, is it's code-word for 'we're probably shutting down for good but too proud to admit it.' Anyway it doesn't really bother me, I'd stopped enjoying the work quite awhile ago and it took me awhile to realize it. I only really noticed when I noticed how hard it's been to get to work on time lately and how my leaving the house has gone to a more "aawwwuuughh...mkay lets get this hit over with" sort of attitude.
Actually things are working out perfectly for me as a matter of fact. I'd sensed the business was doing bad for awhile so forward thinking me, I got myself signed up for college classes August 20th. I was originally going to quit to take school full-time, but now as it happens I don't have to AND now I get unemployment! At least until class starts on the 20th. I'll be learning HVAC for anyone interested.
So here's where you guys come in, all my little babies out there *gathers you all close* I'm gonna need to get some kind of income going to carry me through the 16-week college certificate. So starting August I'm going to be open for black & white digital anthro-car sketches around $40s is where I'm planning it to be, I'll post up an example drawing sometime before the 20th so you guys know the quality to expect. Also I'll be finally hunkering down and finishing up commissions and on-hold YCH commissions that I know some of you have been waiting on for a long time.
As always my Patreon is always there for anyone who has a generous bone and wants to help out me and what I do:
https://www.patreon.com/halfdude
So any of you who've been waiting and waiting for me to draw something for you, here's your chance, because I'm not open to commissions all the time. For anyone wanting me to do a drawing simply PM me the instructions, it'd be helpful if everything I needed to know was included in one single PM so please include the following details:
-A full description of the drawing, be as detailed as you can be, down to the pose and expression if possible.
-A reference image of the car(s) in question, this can be a google image drawing or personal photo. Just make sure that it's an image that shows the car's details and angles that'll need to be in the drawing.
As always my practice, I wont be taking payment for any commissions until shortly before the drawing is actually drawn. I like to avoid going through the process of refunds in case for whatever reason I can't draw what you want.
Thanks for all your ongoing support friends, wish my luck at school. : )

Massive AniMECH Vehicle Reproduction Information DUMP
Posted 8 years agoThank you to the lovely
RelionGarrouth for asking these questions and allowing me to post the answers here for you all. Any questions you guys may have had about anthro-car pregnancy, AniMECH, or car genetics will be explained here. Enjoy. :)
How do car genetics work? Can all cars breed, or is it based only on the types of cars? Or can only cars from the same companies breed?
-Car genetics work on accumulated libraries of schematics and random number generators. Basically a car's sperm and a cars egg, a least in part contain something similar to a flash-drive or ROM. It contains the schematics for all the major components of both parents including technical design AND visual styling. All these parts are sub-categorized under their major areas 'bumpers, engine, suspension, glass, panels, ect.) When the sperm and egg connect they literally do by a small copper docking connection and the fathers information is loaded onto the egg's on-board computer which already has the mothers information in it. It's a simple processor really, just a random number generator that shuffles around all these body-part 'traits' from both parents. Makes modifications on the fly for parts that don't connect right when randomly combined, and then spits out a bunch of random 'hybrid' designs for all the babies that are gonna be gestated. Literally the only reason that I've been drawing normal non-hybrid cars in my drawings is because I'm lazy or forget. XD But it's happening! Anyway what I've already said above I think answers your next few questions so we'll move on, but yes all cars can interbreed because they're all AniMECH cars.
-Not ALL cars can breed no. You're offered a choice when you buy an anthro car. You can have one with reproductive bits, or one without. Non-sexually active cars are less work to own as they won't have the urge to fuck other cars around the neighborhood, you don't have to deal with their hormonal swings and typical sexually active stuff. Plus sexually inactive male cars need milking every few months due to 'overfilled balls syndrome' which I'm sure you've heard all about, and female cars have car-periods. lol
But it's definitely more of an adventure you can definitely agree there. Plus if your car has babies then the babies can be given back to the dealer you bought the car from for cash rebates. Many a family have made it a side-business breeding their cars. It's best to breed cars within the same family, as the cash made from selling the babies will legally have to be split between you and whatever neighbor who's car your car impregnated lol. Though I will add on that cars can be 'fixed' later on by the owner but.. come on that's just cruel!
Ooo, what about cross breeding between humans and cars? Some type of cyborg, half biological, half mechanical thing? You have a lot of human and car interactions, what would happen if they were to cross breed somehow? Would a smart car be considered a human/car hybrid?
-No a human can't impregnate a car. But nothings stopping them from fucking of course if a relationship formed between them (something anthro-cars originally weren't meant to be able to do but did so anyway because no failsafe mechanism was actually put inside them to prevent it) though the female car obviously is going to have a bit of a 'hotdog down a hallway' experience unless the guy is willing to wear a giant strap-on or manually stimulate her or whatnot. But yeah anway back on topic, car procreation is technologically involved, we're talking electronic data. A guy spurting up into a girl car isn't gonna do a thing. lol
BUT I have been considering the idea of something. I've been wanting to maybe make a fictional story where Me and Lilly in the anthro-car universe decided to have babies. So I've thought of an idea of maybe black-market clinics that can service such, surprisingly, still taboo relationships. Taking erased blank car-sperm they can manually enter in an approximation of the human owner's traits.. as far as to what can be put on a car. So like eye color, personality traits, skin color (a bunch of baby cars with differing shades of tan? XD) ect ect. Maybe they'd have the couple fill out a personality questionnaire on the human of the relationship to help them program the sperm to represent the person. Then basically they artificially inseminate the car and walla! What do you think about that idea? Would give at least one reason as to why the black markets are willing to pay Felicity to milk all those cars for them. XD
-Dunno about the smart car thing.. a hybrid? No they'd just be another breed of car. o_o
Would all those really cool, really awesome concept cars you see at auto shows (the ones that are never actually massed produced for whatever reason) be considered super models?
-Naw super models are the same as human super models.. just the most popular and beautiful among us. So you know, your Lamborghinis, your Farraris and Porsches, to a lesser extent, your Camaros, Mustangs, BMWs, ect. Basically the cars that are supermodel cars IRL.
Can cars move around while pregnant? The few pictures you have, always make it seem like their undercarriage would be scraping the ground, or at least has it so that not all four wheels hit the ground.
-You'll see in my diagram about female car reproductive systems. The womb is located inside the belly of the car, above the undercarriage but below the interior floor. A female car CAN drive while pregnant, but only for so long until her belly grows too large. So for the first few months when she's just got a baby-bump your fine to drive her but drive extra gently an watch otu for pot-holes, bumps, and especially for speed bumps as they can smack her belly if it's low enough to the ground. As you'll see in the diagram, once her belly is too big that it drags on ground you wouldn't want to drive her anyway as her interior floor has bulged upwards and the seats are up in the ceiling lol. At that point you better get a rental or taxi for awhile. ;)
Do they always have litters? Or do some models do just one or two bigger babies (what are car babies called?)? Are all car babies roughly the same size, or does it depend on the model? What would happen if, say, a VW bug got knocked up by a Ford F150?
-Liter size is totally random, again controlled by the number generator in the egg. It's very very rare that a car would ever just have one baby though. The typical number is around 4 to 5, but it can go as high as 7 to 8. That's why cars have 8 nipples lol. Well all babies in the liter would differ in size a bit if the parents were very differently sized models of cars like in your beetle/f-150 example yes. Because one baby may have the body of a beetle but with the littler details of a f-150, one might have the body of a f-150 and the details of a bug. Hell one might even have the front of a beetle but the rear of a truck! But all babies would be roughly similar in size about the size of a old CRT monitor. Lol but yes, if a female beetle was knocked by a large vehicle? Needless to say she's gonna have one stretched out vagina.. both coming in and coming out.. ouch.
-I call them car pups personally. Honestly I'm not even a dog person but I can't help but see some canine traits in cars. But you're free to call them whatever you want. I've also called them carlings before. lol <3
In your universe, of living cars, are factories more giant breeding farms instead of assembly lines and such?
lol and I thought you were done, okay a few more. XD
There still exists car factories but no they still build/birth cars like they're made IRL on assembly lines and fully grown. Though there are a smaller number of factories that act more like mass birthing centers for customers that like to by cars as babies. It's not super common because car babies are more of a future investment and nuisance rather then actually useful, no matter how adorable.. you can't drive them, you have to take care of them and raise them for more then a year. Many people buying cars buy one that's already grown as you can imagine. People buying baby cars are usually larger families that already own a car or two and just want to buy a baby car for the fun of it. Parents who want to have their kids help raise up to teach them some responsibly. Plus by the time the kids grow up, the cars grown up too and they will have had that life-long bond together by the time it's time for the parent's kids to move out and take that car as their own.
But the big answer here is how do factories create the next big model of car right? Say the company has decided that "BMW" is going to release a new 'sports SUV' model car. The Animech scientists in their lil boardroom agree on several breed combinations to try, then once several combinations are chosen it's off to the breeding area. So for trial one lets say they put a Nissan 350z into the sealed off breeding area along with a female BMW SUV, they're put in there while in heat so it's only a matter of time before the two of them get busy. The scientists will then breed several other car model combinations (Porsche 911 / Honda Crosstour) ( Range Rover / Dodge Challenger ) ect. The scientists will then monitor and coddle the mother cars until birth. All 3 mothers are going to have litters of multiple pups with all different mixing of those different traits and styling.
Each pup is examined and studied and then each pups appearance is evaluated by committee (because of course it's a big conglomerate) until one pup's design is chosen to be THE styling for the new BMW sport SUV. The genetic make-up of the pup's design is taken and loaded onto a computer where minor essential styling changes can be made virtually such as adding the typical 'pig nose' BMW grille and hood stamp, as well as any universal BMW styling choice. Then that information is fed into the computers at the factories and they start manufacturing the cars.
So you see, cars aren't even designed by artists anymore, they're turned styling ideas over completely to the computerized trait randomization of car breeding. I also want to point out a mechanic here. If you breed two of the exact same model car.. say you breed a female 95' Mazda Miata, and a male 95 Mazda Miata. Then their offspring are going to have the exact clone styling to each other the only difference will be genders.. so that's the only way to keep a particular car model going over the generations.
The idea of cars being breed like this for the next model year actually came from me from looking at pictures showing how particular models of cars change through the generations. It struck me interesting how closely it looks like the evolution of animals. An overall same look but with styling and practical changes happening over the generations due to environmental pressures (gas prices needing better aerodynamics, cultural styling of the era ect) hell they even have evolutionary dead-ends like animals do.. failed cars like Pacers and Gremlins for example. See what I mean?

What does AniMECH NOT do? Like, at what point is a vehicle just a vehicle? Like, do they do construction trucks, like clement trucks and cranes and those HUUUUUUGE dump trucks? I've seen planes, but do they do helicopters? Or what about boats and stuff? Is it all like (and I hate to say it, because you predate them...but it's the only thing I got to compare what you do to) The Cars and Planes universe where EVERY vehicle is sentient? or is it just like a small type or grouping of vehicles that's sentient?
AniMECH in present day is huge, I mean like those sci-fi conglomerates huge. It was founded in Japan but at present has branches in both Japan and the United States with both having separate CEOs. They're essentially a play on the self-driving car developments going on right now IRL and what maybe they'd be like decades from now. So they're kind of an analogy of Google and maybe Tesla. The company started out as merely a robotics company, they were studying AI and it was when they cracked the AI puzzle and invented true mechanical intelligence, that's when they hit the big time. I haven't decided if they went straight into cars, I'm assuming they probably handle all kinds of advanced robotics and cars are actually just a sub-group of what they do.
What do you mean "is at what point a vehicle just a vehicle?"
Well car manufactures make a lot of the construction vehicles, I know Honda and Toyota make bulldozers. I don't know if they acquired Caterpillaror not. But you can imagine if you're trying to compete with AniMECH's bulldozers who run themselves and can go anthro-mode and maybe do other jobs because of it then they've got some hell lot of competition. IF they do still exist then they've gotta have been making their own version of sentient vehicles to stay competitive. That's HOW AniMECH grew so huge, you make vehicles able to run themselves as well as a human, and prove that they're safe and reliable then you've got it made, everyone is going to want to apply that to everything.
Boats, Planes, Helicopters... I'm just gonna leave it up to you, if you think they probably do.. then they probably do. lol I actually have an anthro-helcopter on the title card of my Patreon so.. there's that.
Well it's the Cars universe except.. well it makes sense because there's still humans around and they still serve the purpose of being vehicles. XD
You show cars moving by themselves, are they completely self driven? or is there some sort of manual over-ride for humans? You show them sleeping sometimes, but do they HAVE to sleep, being machines and everything?
Back onto the RV and everything you've told me about genetics. It would, in theory, be possible to breed the ultimate motorhome.....or....if boats are made by AniMECH too...and you could cross breed ANYTHING from AniMECH....you could cross breed a boat and a car, and get a Duck or something, one of those amphibious vehicles. THEN you could cross breed THAT with your best RV.....AND GET THAT AWESOME RV FROM THE WILD THORNBERRIES!!!
Yes yes, sentient RVs would be a thing. XD They're vehicles aren't they? To answer the other question, they're a play on self-driving cars so just look at those, yes, they'd have a self-driving mode but they would also have a mode where you could drive them as well. They also have internal sensors that prevents them from transforming from four-wheeled drive mode to anthropomorphic bi-pedal mode while people are sitting inside them.. since the moving mechanics and bending could hurt someone sitting inside. Anthro cars also come with wifi receivers in their heads connected to a remote or the owner's cellphone. So if the car has wandered off to do their own thing they'll get an alert from their owner letting them know the owner has finished whatever errand they're running and is coming back to the parking lot. In a world like this where the cars are constantly getting breaks from being cars, can go bi-pedal, put on clothes and do their own thing. I'd imagine vehicle 'changing stalls' would be a common sight on street corners where a car that's been out and about can run in, strip, and get back on all fours to go pick up their owners if they get a call.
Yep, now you're thinking of the possibilities. ;)

Yep, now you're thinking of the possibilities. ;)
My Car is Alive #4: Lilly fusses
Posted 8 years agoTaken me awhile to upload this just with getting sidetracked and everything. Plus it's not like it's something that's going to turn a skeptic into a believer so what's the rush right? This is more just to reaffirm people who already believe and give them a nice little pleasant show.
I kept the beginning part of the recording in there, mostly as reference to show that she doesn't blink all the time randomly. In fact she's done very little talking these last few months, wish I knew why, but I don't believe it's something out of angry/malicious intent. To me it feels like 'getting used to something.' It used to be back in the early days when Lilz first started talking to me she'd react excitedly to my every word, then over the years it starts to take more and more to get her interest up. Kinda like an adrenaline junkie, that first high is easy but then after that you get used to it and it takes more and more to catch that original high. Nowadays it's pretty hard to get Lilly to do anything on command, she'll only react when it's something... sincere. Something serious or deep and meaningful happening. Lol in a way she's like me, small talk just doesn't do it for her. But now and then she'll still be playful like here, and that's always nice. <3
This is open to interpretation, and as always I'm interested to hear how you guys see it. But to me it's in reaction to the song I'm singing along to. The lyrics at the time of 4:21 are talking about a guy and his girlfriend being attacked by a mugger/robber. The guy being mr. amazing then tells the robber to take everything they have just don't hurt his girl. The lyric Lilly seems to react to is actually a lyric that always irked me too. Basically he hands the robber his keys and tells him to take his car.
Just bugs me because who knows what that robber wold do to that poor car, he's basically throwing the car under the bus to protect his girlfriend. Eh..
Anyway yeah that's what I see, I see her seeing it that way too like saying "hey!" or "you BETTER never do that to me." lol

Brave Little Toaster again?
Posted 8 years agoLol thanks
Wario-Girl getting the link to it for me lead me to watching it again, and tonight I watched it again with a fan commentary dub. XD Also probably have to blame
Jyoo_C_Froot for commenting on an old Pinky&Violet comic.. lol yes I saw that.
Kinda curious how you guys feel if I drifted back into doing some Brave Little Toaster artwork again. : T I'm sure not all of you are watching me for anything but juicy sloppy drippy car smut but.. I dunno, would you at least find it tolerable? It's at least still anthro machines.
I'm actually kinda happy if I happen to get myself a nice little temporary obsession going for this again. The films world was so rich for creative side-stories to be made for all the little bit-par characters, it was so well made that way making every character unique and identifiable even with such little screen time.
I also still had an epilogue/alt ending planned for my Pinky & Violet story that I sadly lost interest in the film before I could make. If I was into it long enough to make that I'd be pretty happy at least.
I guess now my only thing is that I don't want to piss you guys off. I just got to 800 watchers and I hate to start loosing people because I change my tune for a bit. I guess what I'm saying is I'm not sure if drawing some BLT stuff would make me quit drawing car smut for awhile. Maybe not but I'm wondering if putting my mind-set back to the BLT stuff where it's honestly much more deep and emotional then anything else.. if I'd be able to hop between that and sloppy porn back and forth.. I might have to end up taking a porn break to do this stuff.. not sure, not saying for sure either way.
I guess I'm curious how you guys feel. Hopefully you guys are cool and just 'okay with whatever you draw' sort of people. But I understand if you're not. But if I do take a break from porn please don't unsubscribe from me, I'm sure I'll be back to it eventually before too long. Maybe I just need to draw some deep meaningful stuff for awhile?
Interest to hear your guys reaction.

I Just Hit 800 Watchers!!!
Posted 8 years agoHey there all my lovely car lovers out there. :)
Well as the title says, yep I just reached 800 watchers. I've been watching my watch list lately, especially recently since I know I've been getting close and noticed quite a few people watching me in droves the last couple days for no real reason at all.
As some of you with great memories might remember, I promised as a gift to you all for me getting to 800 watchers. I promised I'd do one of my technical cut-away drawings that seem to be pretty popular, this time on car boobs. Yep, car boobs, things that I'm sure aside from gawking at, you've often wondered exactly how they worked and what they looked like inside.. or not. Oh and Cindi was going to volunteer to be in the cutaway as our female subject. Probably one of the first times since her early EARLY iterations that she'll appear topless! But she's doing it because it's for SCIENCE you see.
Anyway I was meaning to keep a closer eye on my watch count so I could release it to coincide with me hitting 800 but now I'm late.. so poop. Well expect it in the near future. :)
Pretty crazy, I just checked and I happened to look when it's at 800 exactly. lol
