So aside from the usual requests that I do and my own side art, I've also been doing concept art for the mod Fallout: Equestria. You may remember me stating I was accepted last year and so far it's been a pretty interesting experience.

And now it got even more interesting as I was elected to be the new 2D Team Leader of the mod recently. The previous TL had to step down for personal reasons so now I get to direct the team that designs the very look of the game for the 3D Team to then create and build. It's very cool but also quite daunting. I'm hopeful I live up to the task, even if this whole leader thing is pretty new to me. Thankfully the rest of the heads are quite friendly and helpful so there is that.

It does mean tho that my usual art is probably going to slow down for a short while, for requesters it does mean sadly you'll have to wait a bit longer but I will still try to get them done asap.

What about Panthera? Nothing for the moment. We are still on hiatus while D.Z writes some scripts, but rest assured we still want to return back to the adventures of Taylor and co, but better than ever this time. As always we are glad to see many are fans of our webcomic and we thank you.

Hopefully over time I get permission to post my own art on my galleries so stay tuned for that.

Course this doesn't mean the end of my art in general but I figured I'd let my watchers know, that and I wanted to tell people as it's still a very surprising thing for me.

Heh, a bit to the point, but I'm curious to see what sort of NSFW genres you want to see me draw more of. Been doing this for a while and all the requests have introduced me to a whole plethora of fetishes, some I know of, some I never even heard of. It's always useful for me to gauge whether people will like the fetishes that I would like to draw, or the stuff I draw for other people.

If it weren't obvious, I obviously have a thing for teh males and the whole bondage/slave thing. Obviously that's not going to stop but if you want to see more of something else I'd like to know and I can judge for myself. So feel free to respond, or even ask questions. I often answer.

Alas, it is the end of THQ, which is a shame as for the most part they made some of my favourite games although most were from Relic. Still, at least most of the assets sold went to relatively good choices. Sega handled the studio behind Total War pretty well so I can imagine Relic will be safe. I'm assuming the 40k license will also go to Sega given they apparently have a good relationship already with the fantasy portion.

All the talk tho and yet Homeworld was not mentioned, apparently because it was an inactive asset it will be sold later on but you certainly hope Relic get the ip back later on. Here's the weird thing tho, I never played Homeworld back when it came out, I tried playing both a while back but I stopped. All this however made me reinstall and actually try and finish both games campaigns.

Afterwards I'm going to check out the Complex mod, surmised how much they added that actually sounds interesting. Ranks, crew, honour system and even colonizing planets. With a big enough map you got yourself a mini Sins of a Solar Empire or something.

On a different note I would like to thank for the birthday greetings I got on the 21st, the amount of greetings I got surprised me. Also surprising me was the massive amount of faves and new watchers I have received the past few weeks because of the MLP art pieces. To all my current watchers I thank you, and to my new watchers a warm welcome and I hope you continue to enjoy my future work. I have a few ideas on my next MLP piece but nothing stamped down yet. I will say its cyberpunk tho.

I'm also in plans to redesign my character Curtis, I may have mentioned it before but I think because of the FA demographic and my own personal desire I'm going to anthrosize him. At this stage he'll be a dark brown rabbit but I haven't put the time to really flesh him out....again. Throw any opinions on this if you want.

On other updates, I've contemplated perhaps tweaking my NSFW character Curtis so he is an actual furry character given where we are. Prob a transformation gem he wears or something. I've considered maybe making him a rabbit as it's my fave animal of choice but it's not set in stone.

Other than that, I've been slowly going through the mountain of games I got from the Steam Sale, however I've been stuck playing Far Cry 3 the most. That game is surprisingly decent, and the sheer number of random events that can occur that can shock or humor you is impressive. I shall never forget the day I'm walking towards a mission when suddenly BEAR ATTACK!!

Happy post Boxing Day greetings! A little late on that but I spent the past week resting up and reorganizing everything. Haven't bought or got much over Christmas which was fine, although I have been buying a lot of games from the Steam Sale. And that thing goes till the 5th of January? I fear for my wallet.

Speaking of art, if you haven't noticed my recent submission I drew a Raider pony based in Fallout: Equestria. The reason being is I was recently accepted into the Equestria Softworks mod group as a 2d designer. So a bunch of my time will be dedicated to help design various concepts and such for the Fallout: Equestria mod. It should be quite fun and an interesting challenge.

I'll still be doing my own stuff tho, I have a fanart based on the Earth & Sky fanfiction I've got going, and I'm still waiting on D.Z to get the time to write some scripts for Panthera.

Looking over, it does seem it's all ponies huh? I bet even mature art is going to be pony focused, and we know how FA likes that.

All I can say is eeeeeeee. Highly enjoyed Abrams reboot with the first film so eagerly anticipated what he's going to do now that he is no longer constrained by established canon. And this is someone who enjoys the past series. It's not gone or no longer exists canon wise as its now set in an alternate universe. With that you can frankly go nuts in the Trek universe frankly which he seems to be now.

Interestingly we still don't know Cumberpatch's character. Leading guesses is Gary Mitchell which sort of works, except in the extended Japanese trailer he says he is having his vengeance for family, which as far as I'm aware Mitchell didn't in either realities.

Khan Noonian Singh doesn't quite fit either as the Federation never even existed during his time of absence, nor has he had an encounter like he did back in TOS that lead to Wrath of Khan nor is there evidence this is the case in the JJ universe.

Seems more likely we#re dealing with an original character or one influenced by the mixture of the two above. We'll find out when The Hobbit is premiered as they're showing the first 7-9 minutes apparently.

Well, 5 months since I made a journal, but I've still been around posting art here and there. Frankly work has reduced my efforts to do adult art to a crawl as my requesters sadly know of. I've been able to work on my own projects but as you've seen they take quite a while to work on. Even Panthera is now on a small hiatus while we reorganise ourselves. :(

On that note, I am seriously considering cancelling these art requests and starting afresh. On a side note, testing our Photoshop CS6. Runs alright, but still getting used to the new brush setting they have for it.

Getting quite annoyed with the new Animation timeline tho. Keeps making new layers advanced in the timeline, so timeline wise, previous layers don't show up so I have to keep moving layer timelines in sync. Highly annoying, despite the obvious advantages of it's inclusion for animation. But for just general artwork, I don't need it. And there doesn't seem to be a way to turn it off or disable it.

So I've got that space sim itch again, but I also dive straight into the same problem. Many of them are fighter jet focused. Very few focus on say, a cruiser, carrier or battleship. As much as I enjoy Freelancer and such, sometimes you want something new.

I've tried multiple times to get into X3: Terran Conflict but that game is way overcomplicated and slow to get into, despite how deep it can ultimately be. I've play Bridge Commander to death, and can't even now as it doesn't support Widescreen Windows 7. Space Pirates and Zombies and Starfarer do fit the bill more but the former is a bit more arcadey than usual and has the issue of grindy missions, the latter isn't finished in development. As for Nexus: The Jupiter Incident? That's a bit more RTS than really space sim.

It's a shame really the one that does fit the bill is Battlecruiser series. Shame that game is stupid complicated and buggy as hell not to mention a decade old.

Figured I'd do a mass journal update given how long ago it was. Things are slowly settling down since I started this job. It's not ideal, but it's something .Also means I've settled on a schedule that allows me to work on Panthera and work on side art here on FA/IB/SF.

Speaking of, requests are in fact open, however I will be more selective on which I'll choose to do given the reduced amount of time. I don't wan't people to wait too long as all my previous requesters have before. Same restrictions apply: no backgrounds, two characters max and it will only be flat coloured. So it's been a weird time for gaming the past few weeks, which obviously I refer to the Mass Effect 3 ending dilemma. Hard not to gauge your opinion of it when you have friends who constantly tell you to preper to be extremely disappointed and angry when you play it. Well, having finished it last week, I can say that the ending while certainly disappointing does not warrant the amount of anger it has generated. While I can understand the whole it does not pay off the several years of commitment angle over three games, it is still at the base of it a plausible ending. The issue is the execution and the many details that either break established canon rules or does not offer any resolution.

But does that make ME3 a terrible game? No, I loved the journey, and the many high points at each "arc". The Quarian/Geth arc being a particular favourite. As for ending, I've seen worse in similar setups. The obvious comparison is Deus Ex: Human Revolution. A surprisingly great game, hampered by a very half assed ending, which at the base of it offers an interesting idea, but executed poorly.

Also boss fights but that's a different conversation. As for worse ending ever? Kane & Lynch 2, simply because there isn't one yet pretends it is one.

So yeh, I can understand the anger and disappointment, but does it warrant petititons or abusive language against Bioware? Not really. As for Bioware possibly retconning the ending in future DLC. Well it all depends how they handle it. The only direct comparison is how Bethesda handled it in Fallout 3. We shall see in the end.

I figured given how productive today was that I do a quick journal update. Work has pretty much left me only a small fraction of time for art, and that is mostly taken over by Panthera. What time I do have left tho is the weekend, and was able to finish the lone commission and a request in rapid time unusually.

As a note, commissions are still open if you are interested. I'm also tentatively re-opening requests again of three slots for now. I say tentatively because I don't know how long till I can work on one again. While everyone I've worked with have been extremely kind and patient with me, I still like to warn people for those wanting a pic in a hurry or for some event. It could take a few days to a few months judging by my own records so keep that in mind.

As a reminder, I can do clean or adult pieces of most fetishes but please consult with me first, and that I have the right to decline your request. Be aware that requests are flat coloured only with no backgrounds and limited to two characters.

I said in a previous journal that I finally had a bit of time to hopefully finish off those last few requests. Life has a funny way of screwing your plans. To the better personal wise tho, had training as cashier for a family friends take away. Got myself familiar with the setup the past few weeks, and prob will be a full time job soon. Something to jump start as I've been having difficulty with getting jobs of late and hopefully with this experience will help in the long run. I don't generally comment on my own personal life on these journals, but it does impact my artwork.

Because of it tho the amount of time I have to work on art other than Panthera as well as other leisure? Pretty much shot for the time being. I have the late evenings when I come back but it's most likely time on either the comic or potential commissions. Essentially, requests take a back burner in terms of priority.

Been working on the Panthera webcomic most of the time since D.Z finally had time to get some pages written up, so hopefully we'll slowly get back on proper schedule. The amount of anger you can read about the new banner is pretty hilarious, but then from what I've seen, some can get angry about just about anything really in regards to FA.

Can't say much cause I like MLP as well, so obviously enjoyed the new season. Altho any Star Trek fans have something to see as well given John De Lancie who played as Q is in MLP playing as the villain Discord. Who acts EXACTLY like Q. You could say his addition made the show 20% cooler.

Anyways, back to comic drawing.

I have decided to close my requests for the time being. I never expected so many of you to note me so fast. So apologies to those who are still sending me new notes asking for requests as I'm likely to decline.

Payment will be asked upfront when I actually start work on your commission. Like I do with requests, I will show you sketches and lineart's to ensure it will look as you envisioned it and keep you apprised of any changes or problems.

Please make sure you actually look at the sketches and such properly and note any and all changes you would like as I will not make excessive changes after the product is finished.

While I generally will accept most commissions, I do reserve the right to cancel a commission if the situation becomes uncomfortable or confrontational.

Should you be unhappy with any of the sketches or decisions made, you are entitled to a partial refund depending what you paid for. With that I should preface that you must be sure you like my style of art before you pay me so we can avoid such a situation.

This isn't the only art that I work on tho, I'm currently the artist for the webcomic Panthera at www.pantheracomic.com. We've been up for several years now and gained a small but friendly fanbase. Have a read and check out the other comics in the SpiderForest Collective.

I have imposed a new restriction on requests for newcomers. There will no longer be any backgrounds, I will allow fixtures like beds or chairs if they are part of the scene. It's partly to make these requests get completed faster. Those who are already on the list who have requested specific background details will be honoured. Those who had no background detailed will likely get no background.

On webcomic updates, Panthera has now joined the SpiderForest Webcomic Collective. We hope this will increase our readership and provide you readers with potentially new comics to enjoy. Panthera will remain self hosted and content will remain the same. The only change is an additional banner on the top of our website sometime soon.
