It has been a rather hectic and unpleasant start of the year.
I had many issues going on, both financially and emotional.
Two people in my family were in serious condition, which added to the stress of everything else going on around me.
Needless to say, I had little time to work on stuff, or when I had the time I was not in mental capacity to do so.
Anxiety and depression suck, but that's all I can really say.
They are not excuses for bad service, just an explanation of the reasons for it.

However, I'm finally getting on top of everything.
If I haven't came back to you yet and I owe you art, I will do so shortly once I have a sketch to provide aside from excuses.

Other than that, I can only apologise and thank you wonderful people for being so patient and understanding with me.
You make things look much brighter and are a part of the reason why I'm slowly digging myself out of this slump.

I am finally finishing up Dickember pin-ups, which I intend to exhaust by the middle of next week.
I want to thank each and every one of you for showing extraordinary patience and understanding.
Due to health issues and holidays, I wasn't able to commit to this challenge as much as I initially wanted.
All I can really say is that I am truly sorry.

So, I'm finally back from a week away in Poland and I already feel homesick and miss everyone and everything! 😭

We went there, together with my fiance to celebrate his birthday among his family and friends.
We had a great time packed with many family events such as christening and grandmas 80th birthday which coincides with Elath's.
We were also joined by which made the whole hectic week fly even faster than it normally would.
The birthday was a blast and Lana and I managed to muster our courage to make a small speech and a toast for Elath's health in front of his whole family, which counted like 30 maybe 40 people...
Hope our words did not embarrassed him too much, as both Lana and I were quite intoxicated. 😳Polish parties and their never-ending streams of vodka 😆
But we spoke from our hearts and thanked for a wonderful friend and cheered for a family who brought him up.

There's plenty more to say, but in fact I'm not even sure how to describe or even compile what has transpired.
Truth be told, I feel as if I was gone for a month... we collected so many memories and odd experiences that we could fill a novel with them. 😏
In fact, even if we did, I doubt half of the stuff would be believed by an average reader.

I mean... just from the top of my head; a random old man mimicked cutting Lana's throat on a public bus and then proceeded to terrorise an old lady sitting next to us.
Seems that I attract crazies and chaos... it's not the first time stuff like that happened 😆
CHAOS everywhere! 😃

Either way, I had a blast and I feel revitalised to tackle everything that I have pilled up for the coming month.
I shall be contacting everyone I have an outstanding artwork with.

So I have seen a physiotherapist, she discussed with me my spine x-rays and such.
Apparently nothing's wrong with my spine as far as bones or structure are concerned, however there is a strong possibility I have strained my muscles due to bad posture while sitting.
Either way, was advised to look to changing my sitting arrangements as well as given some rather interesting exercises to do while drawing >.>
It might take some while before my back gets back to normal, if it indeed is the posture. So for the time being I'm resigned to doing some back bending and twisting...

Damn, I miss the time I could actually sleep through the night. This crap is so weird and exhausting. Ah well. Hopefully it'll sort itself out eventually. In the mean time I have painkillers ^^
Over the next days I'll be finishing all YCHs I have been paid for so far. I'll note you with WiPs shortly.

Dickember is back!
Last Year's Dickember Collage

I’m following through on the tradition I set up last year and I’m once again de-dick-ating 😉 the coming month to dicks of all shapes and forms! 😀

Rules are simple.
Each day will feature a pin-up with a naked character showing off their goods.
All characters are welcome as long as they can show off their delicious meat 😊 Even ladies, if they are willing to sport a nice strap-on 😈

Nearly every day of the month is up for grabs, aside from few exceptions I will list here:

1st of Dickember will feature yours truly. 😎
5th of Dickember, following the tradition will belong to Krampus. 👹
6th of Dickember will be introducing a new permanent feature- naughty Santa!🎅
8th – Mate of Dickember will be featuring my other half. 💗
31st of Dickember, or 🎊Dicks of New Year’s🎊 will be a 3-character pin-up, featuring winners of a raffle from among all participants 😊

Each other day is available for you guys to claim, although if no preference is specified, they will be allocated as first come-first serve.
Those are meant to be fast, simple pin-ups, so there will be no WiP process, although you can specify a pose as you claim your slots.
Each slot is only 50$ and gives you a chance for a second drawing at the end of the event 🎉

One exception to this rule are slots for 🎄24th, 25th and 26th of Dickember🎄.
Those will contain Christmas accessories and themes and therefore will be 60$ each, however they have an option of an upgrade to two-character slot for additional 30$.
Bear in mind those won’t be traditional Christmass images, as the main feature of the pin-up will still be the phallus 😈

All slots will remain open as we go, however I am taking orders NOW, as I will be leaving for Poland at the end of November, so I have to get at least few of the first Dickember slots done before I leave 😊

Just letting you guys know what's up and where's the delay in art coming from.

For the past weeks I have had trouble sleeping, as I was waking up mid-night with a tremendous pain in the middle section of my spine which radiated onto ribs, causing difficulties breathing. It kinda feels like you wake up with a huge stone crushing your chest basically.

Odd thing is, this passes once I simply get up and go about my business, usually disappearing completely after half an hour. Sounds trivial enough, however after three weeks of this I don't get a full 7 hour sleep anymore and it makes me very exhausted. Not to mention alarmed.

My GP says this looks to him like spine muscle inflammation, rather than any mechanical injury. Figures, I always have to have some exotic shit happening to me. I'm not even sure how one gets their spine muscles inflamed but whatever >.> Either way, had a spine X-ray and should get some clarification soon, but in the meantime the thing got worse and extended all the way to the back of my neck. Now I can barely move my head, apart from keeping it upright and if I try to look down or to the side it basically hurts like hell :S It's been like this throughout the weekend and up until now, I do sincerely hope this passes soon.

In the meantime, I'd like to apologise to those people who already paid for YCH and are waiting for updates or the normal commissioners in the queue. I do intend to come back to most if not all of you by the end of the week. I hope you understand.

I want to open few slots for simple one character pieces with no background. They would still be shaded off in my usual style, so there won't be any fall in quality. I want to improve my expressions and poses which Iron Artist would definitely help with.

The rules would be simple. A slot will cost 50$ and the turnaround would be 24-48 hours. All you need to do is provide a reference and a theme for the piece :)

I have fallen ill two weeks ago. I won't go into the gross details, but I basically can't get better for 9 days now. I am getting blood tests done among other things... basically fun.

So, I have realised I haven't been really keeping up with journals here. It's very hard to break into habit of writing them, especially when one isn't really sure what to write about. I guess I'm the type of a person that is reluctant in producing posts and stuff unknowing if anyone actually wants to read it. So please don't treat my lack of journal entries as a snob move, but rather social-media awkwardness...

But to the point- I'm really active on Twitter and I've decided to use it even more as a platform for displaying my WIPs of both personal and commissioned art. Hello guys!

Long time without an update. I'm really bad with those XD

Well, I had some enquires about Dickember; both what's it about and if someone could commission it.
So I decided to address those queries. :)

Dickember is what I came up with while chatting with after taking a long bath.
I always go into thinkers mode when bathing XD
I really don't like all those "something" weeks and months that are being propagated by many artists,
mainly because one almost felt obliged to comply with them and I'm a "rebel" and never do XD

So I decided to make a mockery of those events and make up one of my own which I was sure
wouldn't catch up but also made for a perfect excuse for anatomy practice.
I was looking for words beginning with a D and rhyming with December and thus Dickember was born =3
Seeing as it's a holiday season and it's almost as outrageous of an idea as one can be- it fit me like a glove =3

Dickember is about pinup art of male characters showing off their goods =)
They can be flaccid, erect, whichever way you like them, as long as they are on display for all to enjoy =D
Character should be shown on plain background, preferably full body shot as those old pin-up models from 50s and 60s.

Anyone who wants to join can do so, but the point is to submit one pin up per day in December
which might be quite of a challenge considering Xmas and New Years along the way :P
As far as I'm aware, the only person who tries to do the challenge for the time being is =)

I am considering to open commission slots for few of those days, however they will have to go fast as work will be completed daily.

Well, that's about it for now, I'll let you guys know more about the slots once I'll open them :)
