So last night had a late night conversation with a really good friend of mine. During the conversation we started talking about how some people need seem to always be complaining about their lives and how things are going but make no moves to change it (This isn't directed at anyone I know but was more just a general statement )

And it made me realize (and i had realized it a while ago but it really hit home yesterday) just how happy I am with the way my life is going, not only that but how blessed I am as well. I'm in good health, I have shelter, food, and job. All my basic needs are met...is money tight? Yes it is but its like that for a lot of people no need to stress over that...I do but I shouldn't..just budget :3 Is there some bullshit going on at work right now ? Yes there is but over all I have a fantastic place of employment and I've been there for 3 years and I still LOVE my job :3 (although if some stuff continues it may be time to spread my wings and find a new adventure...we'll see).

I'm blessed with a loving boyfriend who tolerates my antics and puts up with my mood swings and temper....and my love of critters....He loves me for me and that means the world to me. I can be myself with him. I don't have to change how I talk or act or am. I can just be 100% totally me. :3 I know I'm not always the easiest person to get along with... I'm stubborn and opinionated and have a temper. I can be scatter brained and hyper. I'm a farm girl to my core. And I often worry about things way to much. And for some reason he still sticks by me and spoils me. He makes me feel special :3 I couldn't ask for more. I really couldn't and I am so lucky to have him. I really am :3

I am also blessed with some pretty AWESOME friends. Both furry and non-furry. They have helped me through good and bad times, studying melt downs when i was in school, guy problems, my own mind going into over drive and thinking to much. They have offered insight when I have been confused, a calming thought when I've been panicked or just a shoulder to cry on when I need it most. They have accepted me for me and have become family. They have helped mold me into the person I am today and will continue to as time goes on. I cannot thank these people enough for everything they have done for me and continue to do for me. I am truly lucky to have them :3

And finally I am blessed to have a family that supports me in everything that I do. Whether it be showing/breeding pure bred Australian Shepherds or my job or my personal life they support me. Sometimes the support comes with a swift kick in the ass to act as a reality check when I get to far ahead of myself and sometimes it's words of encouragement and advice and other times its a helping hand. Both my mom and my dad have hauled me around to who knows where when I was in 4-H and doing dog shows when I couldn't go by myself ...heck my mom still comes and helps me at shows when she can. My brother has his own ways of showing he cares and that's what matters. I know while he may tease me and do typical brother things he won't let anyone else get away with it. They love me no matter what and they have also helped shape and mold me into the person I am today...sometimes I think a little too well as I catch myself sounding like my mother or my father depending on what I am talking about. I wouldn't trade my family for the world.

I am extremely happy with how my life is going and where it's heading. I've learned that its about taking time to stop and enjoy the little things. Smell the roses, read a good book, cuddle with a loved one while watching a movie etc. Take time and enjoy life :3 We all have things we need to complain about and that's fine and such but sometimes we need to stop complaining and do something to fix the situation. I know I myself am guilty of complaining at times and not doing anything to fix the situation. I am learning from my mistakes. :3

And on that note....a long personal journal that most people are probably sitting here going..why did she put this on the internet? Sorry for the drivel and the spam but I wanted to get this outta my head and this was the best way to do it. Plus I wanted to share with people.

Its +34 where I live. THIS IS WAY TO HOT!!!! I'm heat intolerant as it is and anything over +20 makes me melt and hide away. My apartment has shitty air flow as well so it gets super warm in here. I have a portable A/C unit but it stays in the bedroom my dogs are kenneled in so that they don't over heat but that means the rest of my apartment especially my bedroom doesn't get the full benefit of the A/C....actually my bedroom gets none. BUT since the dogs aren't here with me this week I'm making my wuff move the A/C unit into my bedroom so both of us can sleep. My ideal summer temp is between +15 and +20.

Long story short bring back my winter!! I can handle -5 to -40 so long as there is NO wind. If there's windchill to any of those temps all bets are off. I'm Canadian I'm built for snow not for extreme heat I want my snow please

Well just thought I would post a brief update....and I mean brief, not much new here.

Work is work. I love every minute of my job so not much new to report there XD Its a great place to work and its a great job. :3

With other things...well been stressed outta my tree. Had to find some trigger sources and attempt to remove them. Some like finances won't be removed but I can do what I can to lessen the stress load. Which I have :3 My dogs where also becoming a source of stress. I bit off more than i could chew with them and they started to become work not the passion that they are. There was no fun. I realized I need to pull myself out of the conformation ring and look at different venues for them to compete. Think I'll get back into agility. I loved it when i competed with my mixed breed...but once I started showing pure breds in the conformation ring Agility fell by the way side as I could only afford to do one venue. So we'll see hopefully I can put the fun back into my dogs by going a different way with them. :3 We'll see.

As for other things well like i said not much to report. I've been happily in a relationship with  kitcheetah for almost 9 months. (the 24 will be 9 months) and I have to say I couldn't as for a better boyfriend. He takes me as I am. Listens to my panic attacks and talks me through them He's supportive of me and what I do (even my dogs....all 5 of them XD) Sure we have out ups and downs but what couple doesn't? Well its been a busy year with many ups and downs, and hardships but I managed to push through and come out on top as per my usual peppy style :3.

This year I had to deal with the loss of my best friend and this coming Christmas marks 1 year since her passing. It has been a tough year for a lot of things, because of this. Her and I had a lot of plans and things we had wanted to do together this year. As well as any family gatherings as she was usually there as well. But I focus on the memories and deal with the bad times as they come and I know I have a fantastic support system behind me :3

Work has continued to be excellent. I absolutely love my job and co workers and wouldn't change them for the world. We are most definitely a crazy lot. But sometimes I think that comes with the territory...I mean who wants to go to a job where your patients try to bite, and scratch you and when that doesn't work they poop and pee all over you? Not everyone it takes special people to want to do that.....We AHT's are a special bunch of individuals with a love of animals as our common driving force.

I was also lucky enough this year to by some stroke of luck land a most fantastic boyfriend. He stuck with me even when I wasn't making things easy. He could have walked away but he didn't and I can't express how happy I am that he didn't. I have found someone who can make me smile no matter what mood i'm in. Who will listen to me when I need someone to just talk to. He seems to know what makes me tick so to speak. I know I'm a difficult person. I hide behind biting sarcasm and anger when I get into situations where I'm out of my element or where I'm trying to hide what I'm really feeling and this tends to push people away or make things difficult... but I'm working on it. And I hope I get many more days and adventures with him. Its never a dull moment when we're together even if its just cuddling on the couch watching tv. He puts up with the crazy antics of me and my 3.5 Australian Shepherds....and tolerates me telling him his cat his overweight and needs to go on a diet...I'm an AHT I have this compulsion to fix animals....even if its just to lose weight..... XD I am very luck to be dating such a wonderful guy. I really really am. Its been 5 months and I'm not turning back. I want to see where this takes us however far that might be. Its an adventure and one that I look forward to. Love ya babe <3
