Beat Saber
Posted 5 years agoHave not made an update to my journal and this is my latest one then...
I made my Youtube channel that has my Beat Saber gameplay. I just started with VR and Beat Saber just a few days before Christmas. I'm not as good as other pros but I'll eventually get there.
My latest one as of this post: "The Wolf" by SIAMES (Expert)
Hope you like it! I do have other videos as well in my channel. Also links to my other social media account. Please share/like/subscribe if you like my content. Appreciated the support!

Attending FC 2020 (We Need Roommates)
Posted 6 years agoI have two available spots for those needing a room for the duration of the FC2020.
Check-in: 01/15/2020
Check-out: 01/21/2020
This is not the main hotel but just across the street from the SJ Convention Center. This one has free breakfast, other hotels listed doesn't have one.
For now its just my brother and myself on this room and we're looking for roommates to reduce the cost per person. We're pretty quiet and organized. I'm also a fursuiter.
Total cost per person: 310.89 USD
For more details, I can be contacted on:
Telegram @ kodiak_wulfe (preferred)
Twitter @ kodiak_wulfe

Thinking About Going to FC 2020
Posted 6 years agoBeen wanting to go to any of the furry conventions since 2016, but I got no time to allot for that. Since I couldn't attend the Spring 2020 semester, why not? Further Confusion fits my schedule. Maybe even go to other furcons... I just need to find out whom I can go with.
I'd bring my fursuit which I just got yesterday. I'll be posting my fursuit today or tomorrow.

Second AT and Violin
Posted 7 years agoI'll start on how I ended up getting a violin.
At first I was inspired by Two Steps from Hell especially Blackheart. Secondly by seeing these artworks (1 2 3) especially the first one. Third is when after hearing Crystallize by Lindsey Stirling, recommended by one of the SPC during AT. Am like omg, wtf?.... Bought the violin with AT money 5 days after getting back. Self learn for now and planning to attend a class for this.
How was the AT (Fort Hunter-Liggett)?
It's burning, literally burning! Tents and cots next to our unit were burning, MKT burned too and one of it was ours according to PNN (Private News Network). I got burned too because of the sun lol. Even looked like a raccoon after wearing just shades. Every 2-3 hrs, ambulance and med chopper has to pick up heat casualties. And dustbowl, I just hated the dirt flying around me. Cleaning myself profusely. After getting back to our original location we set up only the camo nets and the sand is already claiming our shits. Dust too thick. At this point, I'm tired of eating MREs and been waiting for PX runs for lunch. Bought gyros and curly fries from the food truck, tornadoes (taquitos) and hotdogs from the PX.
Another from PNN: Actual shit inside the water buffalo which made the whole unit sick (not my unit).
Another crazy shit: Soldier went AWOL on the last few days of AT, went off in the humvee, with his weapon and whatever equipment inside the humvee, and a chopper flew over a tent.
After the first "jump" conditions were better. Temps a little bit cooler and not a lot of dust, but wasps were flying everywhere. Over by the mountains and no signal at all. Rumors said there is signal by the hill and we called it "Signal Hill" which was discovered by another unit next to us. We hiked with our gears and shit, passing through the steepest trail and eventually the top. We prayed to the goddess of signal and I was the first sacrifice lol. We got "attacked" at night and one female has shower shoes rather than boots. I was gonna go crazy at the enemy but I ran out of blanks and got safety-killed.
Someone lost the miles gear attached to the rifle, has to walk on thick foliage and make [my] own trail.... army logic
Positive parts of the training are the PX runs and the mountains, only training that is closest to camping. Best part: I drove the LMTV for the first time as part of the convoy going back to home station.
"Just be sure to kill the enemy, revive the enemy, and kill the enemy again."
"My hip! Its gonna shatter due to the load I'm carrying."
After someone asked for one of my 7 tornadoes (taquitos): "No, its my lunch, I love you!"
"I'm so hydrated that I have to piss every 40 mins. which is very annoying."

First Annual Training
Posted 8 years agoHow was the AT?
I hated the training... wanting to get home before getting there, but it was fun still. Stuffs I hate are lack of sleep and some NCOs that are full of bs. Making us do sh*t that wasn't even related to the training while just sitting inside the tent. And also gears and with even more gears in addition to the first one.
Fun stuff... Doing literally nothing on the warehouse for a day as one of the night shift personnel since the day shift did all the stuff already. And showers, we did showers in a janitorial room and we're not even supposed to do that because we should be showering on field showers (huh, what? ok?!).
What did I do?
Pack and re-pack pallets, some warehouse stuff and pretty much the training is where I have done my assigned MOS. Also I'm making labels to pallets on which FOBs they are going. 3 of the FOBS are named Liberty, Justice, and Freedom. Eventually one of my battles made labels (or protest signs) for Equality, Humanity, Peace, Pizza, Unity and I forgot the other one. My other battle showed them to the NCOIC mentioning that we need these in our unit (yup definitely) and the reply was: "Is there love in there?"
Also this gave me a chance to drive tactical vehicles (Humvee and LMTV) For the Humvee well it feels like driving a car except that the vehicle itself is really wide, and blind spots are wider. I even went against the one way road along the way to the entry point from the tents. For the LMTV or I'll describe it as a big truck, the brakes are too damn sensitive. They're air brakes that's why... In addition, I'm not even certified to drive any tactical vehicles.
On the guard shift part we are sitting in our foxholes eyes peeled open for me while my battle either on the phone or sleeping. Trying not to get kidnapped, and if we did we get sent to another FOB doing nothing but filling up sandbags for a week, and stuck with whatever you have with you.
How we were fed?
MREs, and our cooks. Some are bad, most are ok, few are good. This is why we love going to the warehouse. We get extra servings on whatever the cooks made. Going on guard shift? Too bad just one serving and never enough. I was about to say "Can't you see that I'm already malnourished?" when I got served with 3/4th scoop of scrambled eggs.

Driving for UberEATS
Posted 9 years agoBeen doing this for a week already but within Orange County. As of today I went to Santa Monica to try out that area. Only 3 trips and not going back there again. Hard to find parking areas, and no choice but to park at red lane with hazard lights on. Still making me panic while waiting for order to pickup... probably close to being towed.
Anyway who else drive for Uber?

First Time Long Drive at Night
Posted 9 years agoI was driving from El Paso, TX to Anaheim, CA. Took me around 13 hours getting back around 0630. Apparently I was driving over 100 mph at one time and the Arizona state trooper pulled me over. I was lucky just to get off with a warning and that's my first time getting pulled over. Anyway 4 cans of red bull helped a little bit but that doesn't stop me from falling asleep while driving. Rains in some part but the wiper barely wipes the water off... I could not see the road well. At least I got home safe.

Posted 9 years agoYes and that will be my first time going outside my home state by driving. Going to Ft. Bliss to visit my friend (well a battle buddy). Gonna drive from SoCal to Texas. Will be back before New Year, and I'm still uploading art.
Update
Posted 9 years agoSo I did an overhaul in my profile and will be uploading the art I haven't uploaded. As I have said, I'm really lazy and I'm just uploading them now.... well the rest later.
Update
Posted 9 years agoHaven't updated the journal for a while. Anyway I'm back home from my AIT like 2 months ago and pretty much I got bored right away. Lost my motivation to draw so pretty much I stopped until I find motivation to do so.
Anyway I'm currently in the Philippines for vacation, then Hong Kong. I'll be back to US on Nov 4.
I've been somehow hoarding art and I haven't uploaded them yet.
Internet is so slow on where I am staying at.... really slow that I can't even play CS:GO

I'm Back
Posted 9 years agoI just graduated BCT yesterday and on the way to my AIT.... which means more freedom for me and will be active in FA within the next few days or weeks.
Anyway I've got a couple of rough sketches to show once I actually
get back.
I hope I don't break my hip again...

Posted 10 years agoI will be inactive for at least 2 months since I will be resuming the Army BCT which I wasn't able to finish on the last cycle because of my injury. My DS told me to "stop running like a dinosaur." At least right now I recovered enough not to run like a dinosaur again. Still there is pain while and after running but, unlike last time, bearable enough.
Anyway I just wanna say thanks to my new watchers and faves and I cannot thank all of you so I'm announcing it through journal. Unfortunately I got lazy at drawing during my leave so I'll do it when I come back.
So yeah I hope I break a leg :P or graduate BCT

Just Got Back
Posted 10 years agoSo... I did not graduate BCT because of my injury on 5th week of training and just right now I'm back home for convalescent leave. Anyway I will be back to Ft. Jackson by 3rd of January next year. I will be restarting white phase once I'm cleared from my dead man's profile. Injury just happened right after the second diagnostic APFT. Sucks being a parking detail for their family day and their graduation, and pissed off for being a detail again back to my company.
Anyway since I'm home I will be back to practice drawing again.

*****IMPORTANT Please Read! *****
Posted 10 years agoIf you haven't know, I am leaving for the Army BCT by August 31. That means I will be at the reception for a while, and can still use my phone, if they will allow and I don't know what time I can use. That means I will be barely online or not at all. Once I get to my unit for BCT then there's no way I can access my phone at all (depends on my unit), so the possible time I will be online is around November (damnit that's a long time without my phone!). I hope I can doodle on my little notebook. Once I get back my phone, of course open FurAffinity right away! I'm prepared for tons of notifications xD
In summary, I'm going to be inactive for months!
For my watchers, I will do free YCH again, like what I did with the sulky icon, this late December (Christmas and New Year will be the theme). I will still have to decide what pose or whatever.
Just in case I won some raffles I enter (and I don't reply), here's my ref: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16644735/
Any art for me? Post it here in this journal.
Anyway, wish me luck!

Posted 10 years agoHave you ever had that feeling of nervousness like you were about to ride a tall roller coaster? Or about to present in front of many people in which you can't even present well? I have worse feelings than those. I still have 3 days before I'm sent to reception then Army BCT. I'm exposed to people I don't know plus the drill sergeants. I'm alright to be there if I were to get home every night, but no. I'm all alone! And will stay there once I'm there for months. I'm hoping I befriend a person over there, and beside that I'm always struggling finding new friends to people I don't know at all.... unless they start talking to me. I'm always a quiet person, shy, and introverted. I've been researching of what will happen over there, but I'm still nervous and scared. I hope I find people to stick with for long. At the same time I'm also excited but overwhelmed by nervousness. Getting stressed by now... hope I'm just really tired.
