Okay, the Saturday & Sunday test-run went pretty good; thanks to everyone who commissioned me!

I'm going to admit here, the reason why I'm testing new types of commissions is because I have a hefty bill coming up and under 2 months to make the money I'll need to cover it. I admit I still have backlogs I need to work on; however I've worked out I need to make a certain amount of money a week to ensure I reach my goal amount on time. I don't want to take on more big commissions and tack them to the bottom of the list, nor let them skip the queue, at the same time i don't want to take dozens of smaller, cheaper commissions because they would overwhelm me very rapidly and put a longer delay on the backlog, not to mention getting art burn-out again. Thus, the experiment continues.

Currently, the plan is to take Wing-Its,or whatever else comes to mind, try to finish those over 2-3 days, and spend the rest of the time working on getting backlog art done. I'm only human and sometimes the timing doesn't quite pan out ideally, but that is my goal and I'll be trying to stick with it.
This Wednesday at 7pm EST, I intend to open 3 slots for COLOURED SKETCHES...I'll also make colour upgrades available to previous Wing-It customers. I'm going to try and post an actual Coloured-Sketch example tomorrow...I'm just trying to decide between cell-shading or airbrushed shading or if i even want to add shading at all. SEMI-FLAT,vaguely Cell-Shaded it is! EXAMPLE

First of all: Con-Crud. I may forget to name some names, but rest assured my subconscious remembers you and it was awesome meeting you n' stuff. x.x;

Thursday:

Caught the bus to the airport, all by myself! It was a little late, and due to some nearby construction, I was a little worried the route might've changed without warning. Arrived MANY MANY hours before my room-mates did, but it turned out okay. Had a sore throat the entire time, and had a feeling con-crud would be right around the corner despite the bushels of vitamins I'd brought along (this is what happens when you get lax about that kind of thing between conventions!).

Friday:

 missmab, strype, Cooper, not-fun and partner have all gathered and we descend upon the Dealers Den and proceed to be dorks. Sore throat persisted, started getting a stuffy nose and it was a little hard to focus. Encountered  blade after not seeing her in almost a decade! Her table-mate,  naruloth, is a nifty person!
Uh...Went to the opening Ceremony...went back to the room for food and art.Friday seems so long ago..it's a blur.Probably due to the fire-alarm that was pulled by some none-furries who were drunk and disorderly, just before 4am. >: T

Saturday:

My face started rebelling against my sinuses and I became the worst person to sleep next to who wasn't gassy.Sorry for all the snoring/coughing. D8
Got frightened by an irate cleaning-lady in one of the public rest-rooms.It was my bad, I didn't mean to splash water on her freshly mopped floor. D8
But before the ill-fated attempts to sleep happened, we went to a yummeh, YUMMEH dinner with  darc &  daemionfox, who were beyond generous, and beyond patient, and let me loose in a Barnes & Nobles so i could find a birthday gift for missmab's birthday/forever-long train trip home. I hooope sheee liiiiiked iiiIIIiiit... 8B

Sunday:

I caved to peer-pressure in and bought a Wyrm from  hopefulmonsterstudios.I got a pretty one, and all the boys want her.*now living vicariously* 83
I'm thinking of calling her Luna-Luna because I think she's a little derp, personally.Will be registering her tomorrow because I was assured that if I didn't there'd be some kind of pandemonium.
Went to the closing Ceremonies, FEELS WERE HAD! ALL THE FEELS! Also tissues, many tissues, because my face was already leaking when i went in.
After finishing off the last of my convention work, had a cocktail (under the pretense the alcohol might kill some germs), got tipsy pretty darn fast, thankfully sobered up by the time missmab & I shambled over to hang out with  Maxblackrabbit,  viper45 and  gideon, whose G.I. Joe book I drolled over because of all the production/model sheet art.Neeeeed to get one for myseeeeelf. And we nerded about cartoons and stuff.
Ended the night being a terrible friend who kept Missmab awake with my belated repacking and snuffling (sorryyyyyyy,i will make it up to you somehoowwww). Also discovered a very dead, flat, giant fly baked into the corner of one of the sheets.Scraped it off so it wouldn't get missed again.
Was proud of myself for not having any convention homework for once... then realised Missmab had left me one of her sketchbooks... *clawhand*Woman!Don't make me come over there!

Monday:

Woke up EARLIER THAN PLANNED because I forgot I had a birthday-reminder on my phone,snooze-buttoned for the next hour and a half when the ACTUAL alarm went off,packed the last of my hand luggage up and hurriedly ambled out to the lobby to meet  Blade &  naruloth, who very kindly offered to help me to the airport, and since I misremembered my flight time, we had extra time to hang out and that was so much fun. Went to Chili's for the first time, and we finished the meal by sharing a dessert!
There was a weird little kerfluffle with my boarding pass, but i managed to make my flight JUST before the gates closed!
Got some groceries between the airport and getting back home, and right now the moon looks really pretty...

In Conclusion: Would attend again. Planning to register a table ASAP. Might even apply to do a Panel...

Tomorrow, back to working on my BACKLOG of older and newer COMMISSIONS, holy craaap. <XU
And hopefully this cold won't stick around too much longer. Will respond to notes and messages after some rest too, but thanks to everyone who sends scans of the stuff I drew!

5: I will not draw cubs in sexual scenarios or nude unless it's assuredly completely innocent, scat, gore/mutilation, snuff or detailed mechanical objects (because I suck at it...but if you insist that I try, please prepare to accept whatever results... or wait until I am not doing commissions with a self-imposed deadline).
5a:If you wish to commission characters that belong to another person in a fandom, please have them contact me with their permission, especially if your mutual friendship/trust in each other is not immediately apparent.

6: Commissioning me does not include the right to reproduce the image for commercial use unless the matter is discussed and agreed upon. You may colour and repost your own commission freely (as long as my URL and signature are not removed), just remember to add edit/colourist credits cos they deserve acknowledgement for that work they did. : )
