So it turns out that (after some luggage tetris between me and the rest of my carpool, and a stroke of luck getting an upgrade on my rental vehicle) I may actually be able to take my charizard x suit to anthrocon despite what I had mentioned in my previous journal.
Stay tuned and keep an eye on my twitter accounts @ Virasergal or my main @ hkazecosplay for updates to that.
Debating if I'm feeling up for it while I prepare to leave tomorrow :)

Well I will be participating with the Anthrocon bucket brigade on friday. My shift is 1pm-2pm :>
Otherwise I will be at the fursuit parade, and whatever else I happen to wander into!
Are you arranging any photoshoots?
I am not. Unless there's a small shoot arranged for the Sergals I'm likely not attending too much shoot-wise. We'll see!
Can I visit your room?
Unless you've been invited back by me or one of my roommates I'd prefer our room stay private.

Depends on what the squad is feeling down for. Maybe just the rave.
Do you smoke/do drugs/drink/vape?
Drinking i'm alright with, so long as it's respectable levels.
None of the other things though, and i'd prefer if you let me know if you're going to smoke/vape/etc around me because i don't particularly like smoke.

Water and etc, sure! Alcoholic ones...as long as i'm up there with you then yes. I'm sure you can understand why.
What suits will you be bringing?
Charizard X will remain home this year (sorry in advance if that makes anyone sad), so just

1000% going to korean bbq. Maybe if they're still doing the dog bowls i'll go grab one of those. Otherwise it's a free for all! I also heard there's an Italian street festival that weekend and i'm dying for Zeppoles.

Absolutely, just ask me first. Also please make sure i'm presentable (hood up if kigu / head + paws on for fullsuit)
What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
To tear it up with the roommies and just have another great year at anthrocon! Also it's my hope to do well with my efforts with the bucket brigade. Since i've never done anything like that before.

Yes. The world of vilous panel (sergal panel) on saturday is a definite, but as far as everything else i'll just be floating around.

Not really. Unless you were invited by me or one of my roommates I'd like to keep the room limited to just us.

Posted 8 years agoHey guys. So I preordered the splatoon 2 edition of the switch a while ago and I just realized it comes with a digital download instead of a physical copy. (Silly me didn't bother to read when preordering at the speed of sound aha...duh 😧😔)
I'm a bit partial to having the physical games so I'm tempted to sell/trade the download card/code

Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the official furmeet on friday but that's tbd. Vira will be at the con either way! I usually cosplay at my animecons so i'm not certain what my schedule will end up being.

Random thought after seeing anthro photoroom pics are up

I'm not sure why but I felt so overcome with emotions when I saw the pic of me and my friend bringing by two suits to the photoroom.
Like I guess there's so many little things that just make me incredibly happy about it. Like almost bring tears of joy.
Maybe it's also just me being happy/proud I got the job done and my Vira made it to anthrocon. It was such a fun and incredibly positive convention experience. Even the kigu's I made for myself and seemed to get positive reception.
It's experiences like that that really affirm the reasons I put myself out there to socialize and enjoy cons/events. Especially with my wonderful friends.

I'm sorry if my account seems super spammy right now. I'm going to actively make an effort to keep my FA up to date and log on more often.
And with all that I figured I might as well upload some pictures too so everything isn't bare.
I'm not sure what convention I'll be bringing Mega Charizard X to next, but at this time I'm working on finalizing a fursona that I've wanted for the longest time. I'm actually really excited and waiting for my reference to be completed by

I'm really very new to sewing, crafting, and making my own things but my Mega Charizard X was 100% home made and I'm very proud of it for what it's worth.
I'm not sure what to expect being on here as I'm now only recently expanding my social media presence by actually making accounts on different sites.
I hope to continue to work on my skills and get to know everyone in this wonderful community :)
