*walks cautiously into the room, observing it as she sits in the totally not inconspicuous chair*
1.) What is your name?
I'm Mika.
And I'm Zyra.
2.) Do you know why you were named that?
Yes we do~!
I was named Mika because it's a nickname our Creator was given by someone she loved dearly a long time ago.
And our creator thought that the name Zyra was beautiful when she saw it while playing League of Legends. So when she created me it became my name.
3.) Are you single or taken?
*Mika laughs and Zyra blushes*
Nope not me~! Free as a bird!
B-being taken isn't so bad, Mika... My mate is kind and loving and I love him dearly. Xenos is my life...
I know~ *hugs Zyra* He's a good guy, you got lucky~
4.) Have any abilities or powers?
*pouts and looks disgruntled*
Aww, Mika... don't be like that~ You have enough attitude to make up for no powers. *turns to the interviewer* Mika has no powers, but I was a priestess to a god once and I learned magic there~ Mostly healing magic.

*the both look at eachother and blink then look at the interviewer, tilting their heads in opposite directions*

6.) What's your eye color?
Royal Purple!
Sapphire blue~
7.) How about Fur/Scale color?
*they look at eachother, then at themselves* well... technically we're both human in this form~
my ears and tail are purple~ similar to my hair. And when I'm in feral form I have a few different shades of purple in my fur.
I'm just blond. My ears and tail are a blond/yellow color and the same with my feral form~
8.) Have you any family members?
We have no family but each other.
9.) Oh? How about pets?
*they shake their heads*

I don't like dealing with assholes.
I don't like sour candies.
11.) Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
I like to draw~!
And I like to write.
And we both like to sing~ though Zyra is a lot better musician then I am.
12.) Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?
*Zyra looks down and Mika puts an arm around her*
No one is innocent after a while. We've all caused pain to someone before. We're still human in one way or another, so we are all imperfect.
13.) Ever...killed anyone before?
*Zyra still doesn't really respond and Mika looks at the interviewer*
Only when we had no other choice.
14.) What kind of animal are you?
*Zyra starts to relax again and pulls away from Mika a little, but doesn't talk*
We're both cats~ or cat girls if you want to be specific.
15.) Name your worst habits?
Being impulsive and extremely impatient.
My willingness to allow myself to be used and mistreated by others.
16.) Do you look up to anyone at all?
We look up to our Creator, to eachother, and to Xenos, who saved us.
17.) Are you gay, straight, or bisexual?
*Zyra blushes and Mika laughs*
We're both bi-sexual~ But for obvious reasons Zyra leans straight.
18.) Do you go to school?
We did.
And in a way, I guess we still are. Because formally or not, we're all still learning. Aren't we?
19.) Ever wanna marry and have kids one day?
*yawns* ehh... I don't know~ Maybe~
I would like to... *blushing* Very much so... But I don't know if I'm capable of having children... *looks down*
*looks at her then looks at the interviewer* She's had some... heath issues, I guess you can call it~ And that's made it sorta a touchy subject...
20.) Do you have fangirls/fanboys?
*they look at eachother then the interviewer and shrug* We don't know~
21.) What are you most afraid of?
*Mika gently grabs Zyra's hand*
We fear death and loneliness...
And most of all, we fear loosing eachother.
22.) Okay... What do you usually wear?
Jeans and a tank top, or an off the shoulder top. Sometimes I wear a jacket over it sometimes not. And I usually wear my knee-high boots or converse.
I wear lolita dresses with black boots and fuzzy legwarmers usually~ But sometimes I'll wear a blouse and a skirt with leggings and flats too.
23.) What's one food that tempts you?
Chocolate~!
Or tuna!
Oh my god, tuna~! *pretends to swoon*
*they both burst out laughing*
24.) Am I annoying you?
Nope, not really~

I think we have a good amount of friends.

Pie is amazing~!
I prefer savory pies, like spinach pie and chicken pot pie and things like that.
While I prefer sweet pies, like apple or coconut custard or banana cream~
29.) Favorite drink?
We both like soda, but outside that, I like Melon Brisk. And she likes herbal teas.
Black cherry herb tea to be specific. And lemonade is good too~
30.) What's your favorite place?
Anywhere that's peaceful and quiet. Like a park when no one's around.
I love cities. City streets are so much fun there are so many people to look at and places to see its amazing!
31.) Are you interested in anyone~?
Like romantically? No, not really~ There's one guy that's cute but he doesn't like me.
If you do mean romantically, then my loving mate~ *blushing*

Ehh... The outdoors sleeping in a tent on the ground? Or in a shelter with a bed and electricity and wifi? I would have to say indoors.
I don't know. Camping can be fun sometimes~ I think I would want to be near and indoor shelter though.

Posted 11 years agoAlright everyone~! Just so you guys know I haven't forgotten you guys here's a special journal updating my queue!
I'm sorry that i haven't been able to get things done as fast as I was hoping I would thought.. And I'm sorry for making people wait...
I've been having a lot of troubles here at home and just general issues from things that are very personal I don't want to talk about in a public journal...
But if you need someone to tell you other than me that this is the truth I'm sure that my master, Raphial, will be willing to vouch for it..
But I promise that issues or not I will get things done as quickly as I am able. My requests are officially closed now.
So nothing else should really be joining the queue unless its a gift or something along those lines.
And just a little explanation, cause i bet some are confused by the fact that there was newer stuff on the queue done before someone who had been waiting longer:
I work on things as time allows and as I'm capable of focusing on.
I am a perfectionist and will not work on a piece if I feel I can't handle it at that moment because since this is traditional work I don't want to ruin it by trying to force myself when I just can't physically or mentally or emotional handle it for whatever reason.
This doesn't mean I'm not going to do it. It doesn't mean that I'm not trying. I'm just a little quirky like that I guess... >_<
I hope you will all be patient with me. I am trying my best, I swear it.

There are somethings in my queue that I'm just flat out not gonna do anymore~! Here, let me explain~
There are things on this queue that are getting close to being requests from a very long time ago, and I haven't heard from the people who want them at all in that time. Not one thing. So those are automatically off the list~
That honestly cleared out some things that I am just so grateful that i don't have to do anymore~! I can't even begin to tell you <3
BUT~!
My reason for asking you all to read is this~!
I'm gonna be opening my requests so I can get some practice on things. If you do ask for a request from me please try to keep it simple~
If people start to get too extravagant with their requests I'll close them and try to open up commissions again.
Cause I don't really wanna do something complicated that's gonna take me a really long time if I'm not gonna get something from it...

So now hopefully i can relax and get more art and writing done.
I have some things i've been working on that I want to finish and I have a lot of things i've done that I want to post
And I need to restart my request queue and check up on everything, make sure that people still want the pictures done that I was going to do and such~
And i have lots of characters of my own now that I really want to draw <3

Cause I'm sorta reaching a spot where I'm at the end of my rope a little bit...
I only have a week left of school, but for the past few weeks I have been stressed out of my mind...
I've been trying not to show it because I don't want people to worry..
But since last night I nearly yelled at one of my best friends to to leave me alone because i was so stressed...
I think I've reached the point where I need to do something about it, you know what i mean?
And it doesn't help that my poor mate has been really worried about me because of all this...
So yeah... Please? Lend this little kitty a paw before she looses her mind ;-;
Cause I don't think i can take any more of this without another way to vent...

I've been sorta swamped with school work and home drama and getting ready to move and all that jazz...
So i've been really stressed and have only been able to get on sparatically (if thats even a word o-o)
But I only have about a month left of school so I'll have some more time on my hands for everything after that~

She was very kind and very sweet to me and I loved her very much.

10? My grandfather took my family out to a restaurant and ordered a special cake.
What he didn't realize was that the icing had a lot of alcohol~ Needless to say I was tipsy without knowing it that night lol

I think it was 13? I was very young and we were hiding in the stacks at the public library~ XD
Went to the hospital?
When I was very little XD I had done something and I had to get checked out right away by a doctor.
It was nothing important as it turned out which is why I don't remember much but still~

Well, when i figured i should do a bump journal i had no idea what to put here >_< Cause everything here has been crazy and the only art i've got done has been art for my class that i'm taking right now~
OH! There's an idea, do you guys want to see some of the pictures i've done for my class? I know this is very short notice... But as its getting closer to Valentines Day I'm realizing that I won't be able to get anything i wanted done for my mate... And I was wondering if anyone out there could do a drawing for me or knows of anyone who would be willing to...
With school and lots of family issues and all of that everything I wanted to do is coming apart at the seams (not to mention me being a nervous wreck >_<) and I won't be able to do it.. That being said, if someone could just to a quick sketch or something.. I'm not looking for anything amazing or worth very much... Just something I can give him as a form of an apology for me acting so freakishly recently and still wish him a Happy Valentines day even if I can't spend it with him...
I'm not expecting anyone to be willing to do this for me. I just... I figured I would put it out into the universe and see if I could get anything in reply.

You know like you're thinking about something and then without you realizing its just... I don't know how to explain.
It all just ends up seeming like its going to go horribly and that its gonna be just.. Bad all the way around?
I don't know... I'm probably just rambling and being weird but.. I don't know.. I've been thinking a lot lately about my situation...
All of the family drama.. the school stress from being in a new semester with a lot more work going on... Worrying about how things are going to work with me moving out..
I don't know.. Its just all getting to me and I don't know what to feel right now...
Every time I think about something I wanna burst into tears because I'm so scared of everything going wrong because that's usually how it goes...
I get moments of time where things are amazing, I'm feeling better, I'm healing, and I feel like everything is just going right for once..
Then something snaps and comes down like a house of cards...
I know. I'm being dramatic... and I'm being stupid... and probably majorly over reacting... But I can't help it...
I tried to explain what I'm feeling to my mate, but I don't want to make him worry because I'm being stupid and hitting the panic button for nothing... So I just...
*sighs* I don't know...
I have my drawing class in the morning... so hopefully having four hours to detox from everything for a while will help, but who knows...

Since I've seen things happen before when its turned out to be nothing I've ignored it before so I was ignoring it again.
When I saw

That link led me to

After looking through that journal, I didn't read all of it, but honestly what I saw is enough, I am really unsure about remaining here on Fur Affinity.
I've been sexually abused before, so knowing that someone like that is on the Fur Affinity staff makes me very nervous. I can understand now why a lot of people are leaving so suddenly. I would leave myself if it weren't for me not really having any friends on any other sites or even really being on any other sites. I don't want to loose the lovely friends I have gained here and give up on this community that I have come to love so over the past year.
I kinda wanna see your opinions on this, because I really don't know which way to jump on this. I'm gonna be talking to my mate and see what he thinks is best, because he knows about my experiences and he's usually very good at telling what I'm just mentally capable of handling... I've been meaning to post another journal for days letting you guys know how my time went and everything and i've just been exhausted lol
Well better late than never right?
So yeah, my time with my mate was amazing <3 It was a little weird to be sleeping in a strange house and I almost had some anxiety issues at first, but I got over them pretty quick ^_^
First thing before we even got from the train station he picked me up at was he gave me one of the many Christmas presents he gave me o-o It was an MLP:FiM Pull-over Sweatshirt which I love <3 It is so warm and comfy XD I wear it all the time now <3 and a couple of pieces of jewelry, which we pretty (why were rings that I probably won't wear, but I'll have them on display in my room or something because they're nice and I'll be a memento of him.) And then once we got to his house he gave me two more presents (yes, this man spoils me rotten lol XD shush~ <3) which were two games I've wanted for the longest time, Persona 4 Arena and Brutal Legends both for Xbox360! :3 I nearly died I was so happy~
So while I was there we played a lot of games on Xbox and he showed me a lot of movies that i'd never seen (ex. I watched Jackass 1 and 2 for the first time ever while i was there). He took me out to dinner Thursday nice at a nice restaurant and let me get Chinese food Friday night, which is my absolute favorite! He also took me to a ceramics shop where I was able to paint a ceramic kitten statue~ (which I will post once I get it from him in a mail, cause it was gonna take a few days for them to finish it and stuff.)
It was an amazing being there with him and being away from the stress of my house for a while. Even if my mom did call up and practically scream at me on Friday night because I didn't call her Thursday or Friday night even though she said i didn't have to... >_<
So yeah~ :3 It was just a really amazing ^/////^ I really hope I'm able to go spend time with him again soon because I've really missed him. After not seeing him for months that was really the best thing to have happened by far.
On a side note, my classes for the Spring Semester for college start next week. So by this time next week I'll have completed my first day of classes for the new semester :3 Hopefully i'll go as well as my first semester did~

About the Raffle Pimp Journals Ban (opinions plz?)
Posted 12 years agoI honestly wanna know what people think with this. So i'm gonna put my thoughts here, and I wanna see what you guys think too.
SO please be nice, don't bash other people for their opinions, I just wanna see what others think.
Alright. So, as a lot of you who have been with me for a while know, I'm really big on raffles. I love being a part of raffles because I don't have the money for commissions a lot of the time. And when there was journal spam for raffles I would get a little frustrated, but usually if the journal was a raffle pimp it would say so, and if a lot of people posted about the same raffle you would be able to tell easily enough because they would all either have similar titles or the same link. Yeah, it could get annoying, but hey, it is what it is type thing.
Then there were two big raffles that went around at almost exactly the same time that spammed the universe.
I don't blame either of the raffle holders. They had know why of knowing what kind of spam that would cause, especially with both of them going at once. And I can't really complain, I was participating in both raffles.
When the rule about journal pimping was banned, I kinda had mixed feelings. I know a lot of artists used that kind of thing to get new watchers and stuff like that. I was planning on doing something like that to try and get people to watch me eventually (not so much anymore since life has been a little crazy and spastic for a while). But at the same time, it was nice not to have the spam, and it was nice to not have to spend all the time i was posting raffle journals just so I could get a chance to have more are of my characters.
Since the journal ban, a lot of people said basically "fuck doing raffles" which honestly pissed me of. (And not because there are less chances for art and shit like that, cause that's just selfish.)
I'm pissed about that because some of them their reason was the journal ban! I honestly think that its stupid and selfish of them to say that. I know a few artists who still, even with the journal ban, have been able to hold raffles and still get their name out there. How? By being a good artist and a nice person maybe? I think so. Cause personally, I think that the people who are doing raffles even with the journal ban in place are really some of the best people, and I can't tell you how much I've shared their names around and been like "hey~! This person drew this for me! Look at the amazing job they did!" I honestly think that things like that are worth so much more then just "hey~! This person is having a raffle. Check it out." In my mind that just invites the people who are assholes and just looking for art without having to pay for it. And no one needs that kind of shit.
So yeah... there was my ventish freak out for the moment.
By the way, just to explain the semi randomness of this journal, it was brought on by some journals i saw that were sharing around a petition against the journal pimp of raffles ban. I don't know the specifics of the petition, and honestly, I don't care too much. I want to keep it in place. I don't think there's really anything wrong with it. Spamming people with journals shouldn't be the way to get people to notice you, it should be that people should be willing to spread your name around because your art, no matter the form (digital, traditional, written, whatever) is good and that people enjoy it.

Another Update~! =D
Posted 12 years agoIt's amazing how much better things can get over just a couple of days~! =D So the last time I updated was three days ago and since then I've gotten a lot better attitude wise. I can safely say my New Years stuff is going better than Christmas did for the most part. I'm slowly but surely working my way through all of my requests that I have to do. And if I can get them done I might open up for quick commissions, which hopefully I'll be able to do. But here is the best thing~
I get to go see my mate next week~! =D So the 9th through the 11th I'm not gonna be one much, since i'm gonna be focusing on being with him. <3 And hopefully while I'm there we'll get a chance to talk with his family about me moving out there to stay with him since we really don't want me to have to stay here in my house longer than I have to, since my family situation has been getting worse and my mate is worried about my physical and mental health....
But yeah~! =D Hopefully all will go well and hopefully I'll be able to get things done and if I can't do commissions I might work on making some adoptables or something for fun. ^_^ Maybe i'll try and come up with a new species of my own~! =D I've been seeing so many people do that lately~ XD Anyways!
